Positive experience: Amazing ice skating ring

Fantastic experience: The Kids love it and so do I plenty of activities and plenty going on in the theatre too. Can't recommend this place enough

Negative experience: This is the only theatre venue that doesn't accept companion tickets for people with disabilities!! Making it unaffordable and inaccessible for people with additional needs. Nearly £60-70 to go and see a show!! Mainly only tribute acts too. It's too expensive in my opinion. Really disappointing

Fantastic experience: Went to see Get Into The Groove Madonna tribute with two young ladies I support through my job. If you closed your eyes you'd think you were listening to the actual Madonna. Very talented and she did look a lot like her. She was also very lovely. There was a member of staff at Billingham Forum Theatre who was lovely and helpful too. I didn't get her name but she sounded Scottish. I'd just like to thank her for getting a couple of posters and letting us know that 'Madonna' would be coming out into the foyer to say hello which gave us a photo opportunity.

Positive experience: Went to see ' Last days of Disco' last night and was really good. Theatre wasn't full, just right. 2 x 45 minute performances from the group and they got the audience up dancing, was a really good atmosphere. Sang a good range of nostalgic disco songs, bringing back memories. Tickets were £26 for stalls. Car parking available in The Forum car park. Drinks in the bar during interval, £5 for 2 diet cokes, plus there's only a short interval so no time for another drink. You can however take your drink into theatre in a plastic glass if you wanted another one. Toilets upstairs and downstairs and looked clean. Will be going back at Christmas for Motown party night.

Negative experience: Skating rink too dark and too loud. My kids wanted to leave early.

Fantastic experience: This is a nice place.I used to go here when I was a young child.And I got the opportunity to take my young child for her first time I've skating

Positive experience: Shit carpark but decent facilities inside. Someone just needs to learn how to design car park fencing

Fantastic experience: I am a regular user of the Forums facilities. I just had to write a review of the young guy who mama the reception desk with dark hair. He is so welcoming and always greats you with a smile. He has excellent public service skills and is always helpful. Keep up the good work young man.

Fantastic experience: Went to see Luke Combs UK at the theatre was absolutely amazing, these guys are part time teachers from wolves but the lead singer looks and sound perfect, brilliant gig GP see them

Negative experience: We shopped for 43 mins in Aldi. A week later, we received a parking eye parking charge for £70.00. To be avoided!! Would never go back.

Positive experience: They make you do mental aerobics when trying to resubscribe to a membership; "pay monthly but you have to get a joining fee", "pay yearly and you get the rejoining fee but you only pay for 10 months because 2 months are free so it works out cheaper like there is no rejoining fee", like jesus. Otherwise, nice facilities.

Positive experience: Went ice and everyone enjoy there selves Only thing is the hire skate limited in larger size

Fantastic experience: Took the kids to clip & climb here & they highly recommend this place. Plenty for them to do. A bit pricey but overall a nice run place. Safety was number 1 which is what you want with young children. Brilliant

Fantastic experience: We went ice skating. Great experience. They do penguins for little kids to hang on to. Skates are very basic and could do with upgrading. There's a cafe inside and some vending machines if you need a snack.

Fantastic experience: Back in the gym after a couple of weeks away. It's just a decent place to have a workout. Good space, top end kit, staff on hand, and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I went as a 10year old , ice skating and the baths, 67 now and I'm taking my 5 year old granddaughter , great place for activities and the theatre for great Entertainment & shows.

Fantastic experience: Last night we went to Billingham Forum Theatre to see Believe: The Cher Songbook, it was absolutely amazing, a fantastic experience. The lead singer sang fabulous and sounded so much like Cher, the band and backing vocals were great as well as those working in the background with the group were great also in helping to give us the audience such a great night. The atmosphere was electric, brilliant, everyone of all ages were singing and dancing along, given great participation and love back to the fantastic group who gave us their best. Last but not least the staff at the Forum Theatre are lovely, friendly, supportive and helpful who helped us in providing a great evening out. Absolutely can't recommend highly enough. Fantastic experience: I feel very lucky to have facilities of Billingham Forum close to home. There's a great range of classes to choose from. The facilities are well maintained. Great value for money.

Fantastic experience: Recently visited the forum gym today and was welcomed warmly by the staff, especially a wonderful employee named Elisha! She went above and beyond to make my session much more enjoyable and comfortable. Thank you! Great faculties, very clean and again brilliant staff.

Positive experience: Visit relating to a dance show. Well organised and seated in the boxes. Box 8 is ideally located close to the toilets and access to interval bar. There is a lift for those that cannot use the stairs but will need support accessing box due to stairs(5-10) down to seats.

Fantastic experience: Went with my wife to watch the pink Tribute beautiful trauma the band are fantastic and the girl that sings as pink is absolutely brilliant I even thought she was American when she spoke to the crowd and what an entertaining night oh and the forum is great to watch shows we go quite often

Fantastic experience: Went to see Blood Brothers, plenty of free parking around the theatre and well organised from our seat tickets being changed, because the stage area needed access. Given alternative front row seats and a free drink/ice cream. On mentioning this at the bar when we went for an initial paid drink before the show and to redeem our half time refreshments, the senior staff member said he'd do better than that and put us in the VIP lounge, with cheese and nibbles for half time as well. Thank you for this. All staff were great. Good view of the stage from all seating areas without worrying if you wouldn't be able to see if someone tall sat in front of you. Seats were on stepped areas. A fabulous show and evening

Negative experience: It was the worst experience ever . First of all we informed staff this is our first time ever . We have been served by young staff who are not willing to work, but I think they worked as a punishment. We were struggling with skates ,asked for help ,around 10 minutes staff came and helped my daughter and ignore me completely. When I finally put skates on they were very loose ,couldn't move ,took them off and bring back to the staff who laughed on my face and between them asked me " you want your shoes back ? " with attitude . Then, one of the staff members came in and literally took a snowman, and I asked why ? It's for 30 minutes only - note I said it's our first time and I haven't been informed by the staff . Absolutely nightmare and waste of money .After 30 minutes we were on our way home when our time should be 2-3:30pm .

Fantastic experience: A large leisure complex with a fitness suite, swimming pool, and ice skating rink. Fitness activities daily that you can go to and a café in the foyer as you enter. Warm and friendly staff, as well as a theatre attached.

Negative experience: Really enjoyed the Ice Hockey game before Christmas, but went tonight - 14/1/24, and were very disappointed. Spectator / upstairs viewing area was completely full, with people stood in the aisles, stood on chairs behind the rear most seats. Went down stairs as there was no possibility of us seeing the game, especially the 3 children with us. Ordered to go back upstairs by the Activ8 manager. Tried to explain it was full upstairs, but he simply told us that it isn't safe to view from downstairs, from behind the 'safety' plexi glass. He also added that the policy is that all spectators spectate from upstairs. What utter nonsense. The manager / forum / Ativ8 need to adopt a bit more commonsense. Left after getting a refund with 3 disappointed kids!

Negative experience: Went ice skating with family and friends just before new year. I skate well but not that often, and hired some skates. When I got on the ice they were unusable and dangerously blunt! I took them straight back to the hire desk and requested another pair, only to be told “another pair won’t be better as we’ve been busy you know”. And they were right… I got another virtually unusable pair of skates. Such a good facility In desperate need of one more pair of hands so maintain the kit. Utterly disappointing

Fantastic experience: Ice skating was brilliant. They provide stability penguins for learners. Great cafe, sausage rolls were lovely after an hour and a half of skating.

Negative experience: Better to go on quieter days for ice skating, queued for 20+ mins to collect skates, reception keeps selling tickets for the snowman and penguin skate aids but then not enough available, left 2 small children trying to manage with 1 while being pushed by adult, skates in generally poor condition, blades were blunt making difficult to skate, skate/shoe storage a shambles staff couldn’t find wife’s boots when returning skates leaving her waiting in socks on wet floor from melted ice brought off the rink Left feeling completely dissatisfied after managing maybe 10mins of uncomfortable unenjoyable ice skating at the cost of £55

Fantastic experience: Always a good show. i always book advanced online and pick the tickets up at the box office then go to the pub for a few drinks before it starts. The staff are friendly and always try to help you. The drinks at the venue aren't expensive and it's always clean. The theatre is not too large, so you have a good view from virtually everywhere. I would recommend it to anyone to go see a show there

Positive experience: First time ice skating with my 3 year old. He loved it. Wants to go again. Is a little expensive but the lessons might be the way to go if he enjoys it

Negative experience: They never answer the phone, £10 for kids skating! No wonder I pay £3000 in council tax. Supporting the unwashed no good for people with a job.

Fantastic experience: I think the Forum is a great facility for the people of Billingham and beyond. I’ve been coming to the Forum for nearly 45 years now and over that time, it has moved with the times with fantastic facilities for everyone. Over the years, i’ve predominantly used the gym and sauna but have used it for swimming and the theatre too. I think the membership for active 8 is really good value for what you get in your membership. We are really lucky to have a building with all the facilities like the Forum that so many people can use.

Positive experience: Brilliant ice rink and all other facilities are too notch. However prices for skating are a bit on the high side.

Fantastic experience: Improved a lot and a lot more choices activity wise than when I was a kid (20 years ago). Go climb was the highlight and the instructors were excellent with the kids

Positive experience: Nice gym and pool facilities. Older facility and less well laid out than it’s sister place in ingleby. The lack of mixed sauna facilities meaning I can use the facility some of the time is annoying

Negative experience: I fell and had a bad accident cut myself no first aid or help from staff who sat and didn’t notice! Disappointed and never coming back!

Positive experience: Although looks a little tired from the outside... it is a great place, modern equipment/facilities and great staff... definitely worth visiting/using.

Fantastic experience: Wow, I had the bestest time at the ice skating rink! It was my first time ever, and it was super duper fun! When I walked in, I saw a big, shiny ice rink. It looked so cool! There were lots of people skating around, and some of them were doing tricks and spins. They were really good! But you know what made it even better? They had these cute penguin helpers! They were like special friends that helped me stay steady on the ice. I held onto them, and they kept me from falling. They were so fluffy and adorable! The ice was so smooth, and I loved sliding and gliding on it. Sometimes I wobbled a little, but the penguin helpers were there to help me. They made me feel safe and confident. I even tried to skate by myself for a little bit! The people who worked at the rink were really nice. They helped me put on my skates and gave me tips on how to skate better. They smiled a lot and cheered when I did a good job. It made me feel really happy! I had the most amazing time at the ice skating rink. If you want to try ice skating, I think you'll have so much fun too. The penguin helpers are the best, and the ice is so cool to slide on. Just remember to bring warm clothes and have a grown-up with you. It's a super cool place to have a fun adventure!
