Negative experience: Basically I had a bad experience there. The room not was really cleaned, was something like “pretend” cleaning, and the bathroom was totally dirty. Not recommended.

Fantastic experience: We just returned from this great hotel. My friend and I booked a twin bedded room but was given a studio with lots of room for just a small fee, I have to say the staff are amazing, they can't do enough for you. We didn't eat there but we had a few drinks in the bar which was lively with a good atmosphere. The location was great for us as we don't mind walking but some may find it too far out. We loved walking past the London Eye and across the bridge into the heart of the city. We would definitely stay there again
Negative experience: I stayed here for 4 nights and 1. No one at the reception desk said hello once. No smile, nothing. Kind of expected this because the receptionist didn't also say hi when I checked in, which was very surprising to me. I left my luggage at the front desk since I arrived early in the morning in London, and the person who took care of the luggage also no smile or no hello, nothing. 2. There was a plastic rose petal in our room as soon as I came in and it was the first sign that they don't clean the room at all. I left it where it was and the next day, I went out. Came back later after spending more than 12 hours outside, the rose petal was still there at the same spot. The bed was made and the towels were changed, but the rose petal was still on the floor. If they thought it belonged to me, they could have picked it up and put it on the nightstand, not just leaving on the floor. I left it there again and the next day, and the next day, same. It is still there. 3. The day before I leave. I was still in my room at 10am and no knock, but suddenly the door opened. Thank god I put on the saftey chain. It was the one of the housekeepers, trying to come in. I didn't open the door at first and said that I was still in the room, but she kept knocking. I had to open the door and ask her to come back later. I left the room around 10:30am and came back at 4:50pm. When I opened the door, a housekeeper was still cleaning the room, so I had to wait outside for another 10 minutes. I came back at 5pm and the room was cleaned (although the rose petal AND a piece of used floss on the bathroom floor were not picked up), so I figured now I can sit down and rest a bit. A few minutes later, the door was suddenly opened and a lady poked her head in and asked if the cleaning was done. I was so surprised and shocked that she just opened the door, without even knocking or asking permission to enter. I like the location of the hotel, but that's it. Feels like you get shunned by everyone at the front desk, anyone can just open your door and come in whenever they want to clean, but they are actually not even cleaning.

Negative experience: I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip to London and this place was recommended by another Park Plaza that I usually use as no rooms were available. The location is a great one if you are visiting attractions and very convenient for Waterloo station. The shock was from the attitude of 1 reception staff who apparently has preference how to treat guests for check in as guests who have booked through Booking.com get better service than others and when asked why the delay in getting the room, the answer was that central reservation team have not provided details yet! This ruined the entire experience for me and I would certainly go back to the other Park Plaza as at least they are professional enough to recognize that the service they provide was not good. I would not recommend to stay here if this is the way they treat their guests at check in. A disappointing experience indeed.

Positive experience: While we appreciated the overall hospitality, there were a few cleanliness issues that stood out: 1. On the first night of our stay, I discovered a man’s ring in the restroom and turned it in to the front desk. 2. On the second night, I found a pair of worn socks under the desk when pulling out the chair. I threw these out myself. 3. The night before we checked out, we came across men’s undergarments left on the window while packing. While I understand that isolated incidents can happen, the repeated oversights in cleanliness throughout our stay are concerning. Unfortunately, due to the amount of luggage we had unpacked, requesting a room change was not feasible. Moving rooms would have been cumbersome and inconvenient.

Positive experience: Location is excellent. Hotel doesn’t have front parking place, don’t book Uber etc as they will not come at your location better to ask concierge they will arrange taxi at equal fare.

Negative experience: Good location, I chose a big room. I find the hotel very expensive for what they provide. The maintenance of the hotel is in a low level. No services. The housekeeping is basic. The elevator is very slow. The windows of the room do not open, It is like a cage.

Positive experience: I had a great stay at Park Plaza County Waterloo. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. After a few initial technical issues with my room, Eliogg was incredibly kind and quick to help, offering me an upgrade to a lovely room. I appreciated the attentive service and would definitely recommend this hotel for its great customer care and convenience.
Positive experience: TLDR: We were gaslighted by the manager Juana, but the supervisor-on-site Abby saves the day. We booked three nights with a suite and last night with a penthouse for treat. On the last day we asked the front desk what are the penthouse options, as I was attracted by their famous shot of the terrace, got told that 1401, 02, and 09 are available. We went to check 01 - not good. We wanted to see 09, but were told it was occupied. We then went back downstairs and got told we can check 09, so ran through the elevator again. Juana told us that no room offers both Ben and London Eye view, which is false. We then got told that 1409 offers partial London eye view, which is once again false. After we checked 1409 and found it was not the case we wanted to stick with the original room and at this time Juana offered 1407. This whole experience just feels disgenuine, insincere and disrespectful. Juana also sighed repeatedly at us and interrupted us frequently. It was rude and I felt at times she did not bother to listen. I would have given 1 star if the sweet supervisor Abby did not step in to correct things. I am a long term customer with Radisson and this experience is certainly unique.

Negative experience: I booked a room as a VIP member, but I had to mention myself that I am a VIP member. There was no upgrade, room even had no view, so we looked at a sad construction site. As compensation, we were given access to the Executive Lounge. We didn't get any chocolates, fruit or desserts in the room like at other hotel chains, which I'm always used to at Hilton, Melia or Marriot. Room lacked hygiene for the price, one LED lamp was broken and I am very disappointed. I have to admit , the location ist great but will stay with the other hotel companies again.

Fantastic experience: You cannot beat this location if you are here as a tourist to see the sites. You are a 10 minute walk from Big Ben, Westminster Abby, and the London Eye. The service is amazing, and the rooms are clean and spacious for the most part.

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant was great for breakfast. It was nice that it was so close to things we wanted to do
Positive experience: Modern, centrally located hotel, five minutes walk of Waterloo Station and within sight of Westminster Bridge and The London Eye. Public areas of the hotel were clean and bright. Good buffet style breakfast with a large varied selection of options, from a Full English Breakfast, omelettes made to order or a selection of fresh fruit, pastries or cereal. The bedrooms were adequate, but looked very tired and in need of serious refurbishment. Would I choose to stay there again, probably not. Plenty of other hotels to choose from in Central London, which offer better value for money

Positive experience: Just booked in for a repeat visit, I was looking for a birthday treat and this ticks the boxes. Wanted a room with a bath, got a room with a bath. The only grumble would be the view, last time great but this time an overflowing rubbish bin and building works -

Fantastic experience: Stayed here for one night recently and have to say the service was second to none. Had been travelling for 9 hours and when we got there they treated us to a complimentary free drink at the bar. Slight confusion with check in but sorted in no time. We got a small suite with a mini kitchenette. Bed was really comfortable, only issue was some of the plug sockets in the room did not work. Ideally located next to Waterloo train station. Would recommend staying here if ever in London

Positive experience: Excellent location for walking tour base. Hotel was clean although carpet was well worn (13th floor) Staff was helpful and polite. Kevin went out of his way to greet us every day. Breakfast was good with exceptional variety of diets. The room was large enough however it failed with my pet peeve issue. For years I have been mentioning the use of kiddie height toilets in king bed rooms and no grab bars to help. Now that I am older than senior, it is not getting easier so pardon the complaining.

Fantastic experience: From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Andrei who took exceptional care of us. He made us feel welcome and valued from the moment we checked in. I also could not help but notice his attention to detail. He noticed a tiny candy wrapper on the floor (that I myself didn't even notice) but he was right on it and picked it up. This also showed me how much he cares about the guests and their experience. He provided us with excellent suggestions of places to visit, places to eat and sites to see. Negative experience: Attended a corporate event on a Thursday, caught a nasty flu virus after. Fully packed small room for approximately 80 people from 10 am-5 pm, stuffy air lack of ventilation, toilet corridor tea and coffe station setting and slow queue for short supplied lunch. The worst is the lobby staff didn't know the event and diverted guests to other Park Plaza hotel nearby. Would recommend relying on yourself and insisting your own health and safety measures in this busy hotel.

Fantastic experience: Great experience at this central London hotel. Location is hard to fault; soundproofing is good so silent in the room on the 7th floor. Great views. Really good check in experience and all the staff were superb. Included breakfast was very good, not busy at 0730, great range of food available. Coffee was a bit meh, but machine coffee always is. Only negative point was that the room (bathroom specifically) was a bit tired, leaking tap, grouting dirty. But this is the best Park Plaza I have stayed in - and I have stayed in many. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have stayed at this hotel twice now. Once in 2019 and once last week (2024). It’s the perfect hotel for visiting London due to its close location to the Waterloo station, Parliament, and Big Ben. Lots of great food options available along the water as well. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, and the location is excellent. It’s also a good pricing when compared to other hotels in the area. This most recent stay, we were upgraded to one of the pent houses, so we had the balcony to enjoy some of Londons best views. It was a nice surprise and I really enjoyed being able to sit outside in the mornings and afternoons. Hoping to return to London in another few years and stay here again. Highly recommend Park Plaza County Hall London.

Fantastic experience: The room I was staying in had a beautiful view of the skyline of London. Breakfast was stunning with a wide choice in the buffet.
Fantastic experience: This hotel has epic rooms and through the windows you can see tons of well known buildings in London.
Positive experience: In general, the front desk staff and security were very helpful. However, before arriving I spoke with an employee at the front desk (to confirm some details about our reservation) and he was incredibly unhelpful and show no desire to be cooperative. Also, we placed a do not disturb sign on the door of our room and we returned to find that a cleaning woman entered our room anyway. We were very displeased at this and the woman continued to clean in the room, even after we told her that we didn't want any service. Be aware that their elevators are also incredibly slow. However, room was comfortable; with plenty storage for clothes and belongs, microwave, mini fridge and separate tub and shower. Overall, not a bad stay. Many great attractions nearby.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful stay!! It is within walking distance to many attractions, the Waterloo station underground, and a few 24-hour stores and gift shops. Breakfast is delicious, and the restaurants inside the hotel are just amazing. Downstairs can get a bit busy at the end of the day, and food service might get a little slow. It's best to eat there when it's not packed, but it's perfect for drinks! We had two adults and 2 small children under 15, so the pull-out sofa was just the right size for them. Overall, we want to come back here as soon as we can!!

Positive experience: The location was amazing, it was easy to get around. The breakfast was also well with the money. The service needs work. When we checked in there was trash from the previous guests in the closet and bathroom. We had to call twice to get it taken out. The soap in the bathroom ran and I had to call three times to get it replaced. The elevators are also painfully slow. The food was great and location was amazing! I would still recommend it to others, but the service issues should be addressed.

Positive experience: Lobby and corridors had bad smell. No roses and perfume diffusers any where. The bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom was acceptable.

Fantastic experience: This was my first trip to London. The hotel was great, the room was great and the restaurant food was great. Our room was on the backside of the hotel overlooking the train station. I recommend this hotel to all. It's walking distance to The London Bridge. First time travelers to England: UBER IS YOUR FRIEND!!
Negative experience: TWO Backpacks were stolen from inside the hotel while checking out !!! We were a family of four with 7 bags and three backpacks. They placed all my luggage just beside the doors and left them UNATTENDED. The thief just entered the hotel normally picked two backpacks and left just like that !!!!!! Reaction from the hotel was very frustrating. They said they will check the cameras. I stayed for more than hour and they claimed that they cant locate the camera that shows the incident. They refused to call the police. All what they did that they took my information and promised to investigate !!!!! I am waiting for them to get back to me. Will keep you updated.

Positive experience: Best thing is the location. Second the breakfast is awesome. The chef from Ghana I believe makes bloody brilliant ommlettes as does the other lady chef but his are a notch above. I wish they'd keep chicken sausages as not everyone eats pork. The dine in (ordering from room) food is great too. The chicken burger, margarita pizza anx chicken Tikka thing with rice and naan were brilliant. Housekeeping was terrible. The girl hardly vacumed and I had to ask her to dust when in fact the dust was clearly visible. In the almost 10 days there, I had to explicitly ask for bedseets to be changed. The sofa bed is not confy, very very noisy and washrooms are squishy to say the least.

Positive experience: Being ignored at start after paying £2500 over for 1.5 nights. Then had issue which was well sorted. Business and Tourism don't mix here. Fruit in room nice touch. Super responsive staff. Served breakfast in room after having some down stairs. Overall we were happy.

Negative experience: We booked this hotel through our travel company and expected your average 4 star hotel. Although the rooms were fitting for the price and generally clean and the location was perfect for us, the service was not great. We gave in our laundry and after being told it would take a day, didn't hear anything about it for the next 4 days!!! 4 days without any clean shirts or pants and no word about where it is despite calling multiple times. We were then told it is missing and after being questioned, told to wait for a call from the manager. For the next day we waited for a call and didn't get one, and we were getting very stressed as we were leaving in one day. Once, I tried speaking to a receptionist, who told me to go away and gave me no answers whatsoever when I detailed our issue. In the end we were compensated slightly by getting extended check out and £300 (less than the value of our clothes). All this after spending almost a week without any clean clothes. To rub salt in the wound, the breakfast each morning was sub par. I have been served better breakfast in a summer camp cafeteria. All in all, the service and the situation really upset us.

Negative experience: Hi all I will never recommend this hotel ,we have travelled from USA , and been waiting in the lobby for like 6jours ,even though the check in time is 3 , almost all the hotels allow early checkins for a extra charge ,but here in park plaza county hall London ,front desk staff is horibble !!they don’t even care who is there and who is waiting or anything ,we have requested for the room from the morning considering the kids all the reputed hotels will allow early check in ,this one is worst hotel I have ever stayed at!!Especially the front desk ,which itself will show the hotels standard and customer service !!!I will not recommend this to anyone I know !

Negative experience: Writing this review due to the frustrating behavior from the staff in the reception. We reached morning 8pm and and check in time was 3pm. We are a family with two young boys. When asked if we can check in earlier staff responds always with a kind of rude behavior as if they were not interested in answering, showing zero customer obsession. I am yet to get my room and when asked multiple times, they said room is not empty yet and guest is still in the room at 12pm and 11AM being the checkout time. Something is definitely going wrong the way they manage all these. Will write a follow up review once I get to experience the room and cleanliness As of now I will not recommend this place. You don’t want to pay your money and experience these kind of behavior from the staff. Management definitely need to teach these staff on how to handle customers

Positive experience: Pros: - Nice, clean hotel. - Great rainfall shower and comfy beds - 3 minute walk from London Eye, London Dungeon, Aquarium, Waterloo Bridge & Station - Welcoming staff - Great amenities in hotel room: hairdryer, iron and board, safe, etc. - Gym and steam & sauna rooms available Cons: - Twin room had window view of the small courtyard / other walls of the hotel. This was not communicated to us. We had thought we would get a nice view of London from our window. For the price we paid (expensive for us) it would have been nice to have been told in advance that our room was not overlooking London. - we needed extra toilet paper, towels, etc, and did the quick elevator ride down to the lobby to get these ourselves but were told staff would bring them up to our room. Once we got back to our room empty handed, staff took around an hour to bring these things to our room during a very quiet period (11pm) and forgot half of what we asked for. By this point it was late so we went to bed and asked for the rest the following day. - Breakfast buffet varied and nice food but in my opinion not worth the cost unless you plan to eat £30 worth of food for breakfast. If you just plan to get a croissant, yogurt and fruit or even a full English, it would be cheaper to eat breakfast out each day and better quality. - we were told the spa with massages and whatnot was under renovation so could not use it during our stay. Directed across road to sister hotel who had working spa, but same treatments cost double. Again, the spa not being open at County Hall was not communicated to us in advance and would have influenced whether we booked here had we been told as it was an element we were looking forward to. - Plug socket in corridor broken with wire hanging out, was not fixed.
Fantastic experience: We paid for the London Eye view and had a view of both the Eye and Big Ben. Room was comfortable, and quiet. Elevators left something to be desired, but it was a minor inconvenience. The location is great. Just steps away from Waterloo station, the eye, and a quick walk to Westminster. Restaurant food was decent.

Fantastic experience: We travelled here in April 2024 during Easter Holiday. It was greatly decorated and the place was amazing. The rooms were spacious considering london size, with 2 x connected rooms to fit 4 people. The extendable sofa was not too comfortable and was creeking.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place to stay for visiting London on holiday. We had a London eye view regular studio and it was awesome. Cannot beat the view and easy access to all of London and beyond via a short walk to Waterloo station. Many tourist sights are easily walkable straight from the hotel as well. There is nice privacy for 2 adults and 2 kids with the room floor plan as the bathroom is in the middle of the room accessible via a galley kitchenette thereby dividing it into two somewhat separate sleeping areas, while still being a studio room. Bathroom had a shower and a separate tub, which was more than I was expecting. Hotel was very quiet; appeared to be roughly half business travelers and half leisure travels while we were there. I 100% recommend adding the daily breakfast on to your room. It was a delicious spread with a lot of different options along with coffee/cappuccino/latte/espresso/juices, etc. It was nice to have a hearty meal each morning before we ventured out exploring as we walked a lot each day and we didn’t feel the need to stop and get food until many hours later. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Negative experience: Definitely NOT a 4-star hotel. Apart from the location, which is OK, the rooms are mediocre, even with a “free upgrade” to a corner room with a view of train tracks, where the air conditioning works very poorly (as I write this, I am sweating in my room). The bed is less than comfortable, with a mattress that sinks in and bends your back and fairly uncomfortable pillows. Sink not draining properly. Old USB ports that do not support USB-C. No adapters for non-UK chargers. Not worth the price nor the hype that a 4.1 rating would suggest. London has much better choices.

Positive experience: Great location. Close to major attractions (London Eye. Big Ben. Westminster Abbey etc.) but off the heavy foot traffic path. Short walk to a bus stop (Big bus, Hop on, Hop off ...) on the Red and the Blue lines. Cannot beat the view we had from our room. The room was spacious (not just by London standards). The staff was friendly. The beds are comfortable. Plenty of closet space.
Positive experience: Attended accountancy course in on of the meeting rooms. It is a nice place. Cappuccino from the machine was bit weak. Everything else was good.
Fantastic experience: I booked a beautiful room with London Eye and Westminster palace views because i was flying in for a special event. The staff at reception and the concierge team made me immediately feel at home. I had also shipped several dresses for my event and they promtly sent them to my room as well as assisted me in organising the re-collection of the ones i needed returned. The event i attended was so amazing and my whole experience was made so much better by the attentive and caring staff of the Park Plaza, they made me feel like a real life Cinderella for a day! Negative experience: Ther room and the bathroom were small but clean. Location is very goog however its located on an edge of the tourist area and not in the centre. Regarding the service, the concierge was very rude complaining about some parcels we got delivered to the hotel and asked for a tip because aparently we got him some extra work receving the parcells.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience at the hotel. The location is exceptional for tourism, very close to Waterloo Station, full of buses around, and walking distance to the Eye of London, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Tate Modern... the rooms are clean and everything works perfectly. Breakfast is quite good, not very busy, wide range of foods, and all the staff were very supportive with us as we travel with children with some allergies. We will come back for sure!

Positive experience: Hotel with a fantastic location a few hundred meters from the London Eye. Pleasant and helpful service. Child-friendly staff. Surprisingly good breakfast with many different hot dishes to choose from. Cut up fruit and many types of bread. Cleaning was good. Surprisingly good hair dryer in the room, the best hair dryer ever in a hotel according to the wife. Good beds, pillows and duvets.
Positive experience: The hotel is well located and is ok. The room i had has the window facing down into the restaurant, and people can see in, which wasn't stated. The room was tired, marks all over the furniture and doors. The bathroom was marked up, tiles broken, etc. The shower is over a bath with very high sides. I had a meal in room which was served quickly and very nice. The option to charge to the room was given, but the person bringing the food stated i didn't have that facility even though there's a registered card? I opted for in room breakfast in the morning, and it didn't show up, i called and enquired if it was on the way, or would they like me to go down for it? Got a call back saying it would be another 10-15 mins as busy but looked like they had forgotten. Mistakes happen, so all good, i wanted a relaxing night away, and it didn't deliver.

Fantastic experience: Nice, central location and friendly staff. Air con was not responsive, the room was overheated on arrival and took until the next morning to cool to required temperature. Cold water in bathroom basin was warm until the following day too! Full English breakfast was largely well done, with excellent sausages!
Positive experience: It was ok. Nothing special. Good location. Room tidy. Ample space. Polite staff. Pillows were uncomfortable which I requested to be changed but didn’t happen. Price per night is expensive given there are no facilities at the hotel other than restaurant which was also expensive for quite average food. View not exactly as advertised but perhaps I booked the ‘cheap’ room. £10 voucher in exchange for not cleaning your room is a little lacking considering how much money it saves the hotel. I would use again but would shop around based on price.

Positive experience: Great location and excellent service … got free upgrade to a bigger room, the reception team were very helpful and supportive. The room was a little bit old and needs refurbishments, bed mattress was not comfortable.
Fantastic experience: Perfect locations for work or touristy stuff. Rooms are good if a bit dated. Decent steam room and sauna, and small gym. Pleasant staff, and a very good breakfast.

Negative experience: Stayed at this hotel from 3/31-4/6. A little disappointed from the hotel. The room was ok. Walls were dirty, carpets are old and dirty. Tables were dusty and the sofa bed was awful. It squeezed very loudly when you moved around and was very uncomfortable to sleep on. My son had a backache sleeping in it during the duration of our stay. The restaurant downstairs was horrible. My son ordered a hot fudge cake which took 45 min to bring out. Every time we asked about the order they would say 5 minutes,. Finally a guy comes to our table and just said so sorry it is not our fault, we give the order ticket to the cook which apparently he forgot to make your dessert. Very unprofessional but we decided to give the restaurant another chance so two night later we went there and I ordered a Ceasar salad and into my second bit there was a metal pen cap in my salad. I was furious and the same guy came out and said, oh so sorry again. It’s understandable that this could easily happen cause the pen is right up the kitchen counter where the chef cooks and the cap was probably loose and fell in your salad. He made it sound like its not a big deal, things happen , which I understand accidents happen but they were not very accommodating afterwards. He even asked for my room number thinking they were going to make it up to us but nothing happened. Never going to that hotel again. The only good thing from that hotel was that the concierge staff which were friendly upon arrival.

Fantastic experience: Great location - you can travel to places easily. Rooms were spacious and comfy, views from rooms were also great. In the mornings it was getting busy on the elevators but other than that all perfect.

Positive experience: Great location and fab breakfast. Rooms are ok, but the bathrooms definitely need an update. Lots of mould and stained fixtures. Comfy beds.
Positive experience: This was a great location with work. The rooms are nice and quiet. All facilities needed. Own room thermostat. So close the restaurants etc in Southbank. The walk by the river is beautiful at night with all the coloured lights reflecting. The breakfast selection was fantastic! There is a sauna and steam room, but no pool or jacuzzi unfortunately. Looking at the website, we thought there was a sky bar, but the view was from one of the top floor apartments and the bar is low down , so it doesn't get the views.
