Healthlands Ladies Fitness Club

Hi Marie Claire since 2001 we have empowered tens of 1000's of local women who have taken control of their health and fitness using the resources at our club and our professional and qualified trainers. it is evident from your FAKE review that you have not stepped foot in our club during that time. It saddens and concerns me that you can take so much offense at the word fat during a time in our history where obesity levels, type 2 diabetes and poor health conditions, lowered quality of life caused by high body fat levels or obesity- (A medical term not mine) are at an all time high. We have not and will not apologise for the use of the word fat. It is not a dirty or offensive word. Woke people in modern society and key board warriors have made it an offensive word. In case you need help here is the cambridge dictonary entry In the context of nutrition, fat usually means any ester of fatty acids, or a mixture of such compounds, most commonly those that occur in living beings or in food 1. As an adjective, it can mean notable for having an unusual amount of fat, well filled out, rich, or productive 2. This is a fake review. This person does not have and has never had a membership with a Healthlands. We contacted the member and found she did not appear on our data base. We we believe a family member was using her membership. This is not allowed .

Sorry we did not live up to your expectations during our closure period. What could we have done to get your 5 stars? Our membership does include full instructor supervision and free fitness reviews. At £8 per week we believe this is great value. We are glad you enjoyed your class
