Fantastic experience: Clean good sized pool. Only downside is there aren't enough showers, and they are often faulty. Only small issue for a good swimming pool.

Fantastic experience: Good swimming pool for kids and adults alike. If you book the pool then they provide toys for you to play with. At the reception, they have a few stands where you can buy your own toys. Very good place overall.

Positive experience: First time I've been to the centre and first time I've been swiming in a while, it was crowded but felt I had plenty of space to get lengths in, sauna was a nice way to finish the hour also

Positive experience: Nice pool but crowded. I was used to go for swimming with my kid, but now it is very difficult to book a swimming session during the weekend and if you manage, it's crowded.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful building. Visited when watching the grandchildren having swimming lessons. We were allowed to sit and watch inside for free. They had paper towels to dry off the seats if they were wet. I asked staff at the desk for information about swimming and fitness classes and they could not have been more helpful by giving me info and flyers. A good visit

Positive experience: Ended up paying more for what ended up being lane swimming than I should have, a price list on the website would be good! Pool and facilities were clean, with two young lifeguards manning the big pool and one on the small pool. The checking in process was easy, no names or details taken, just 2 attendees ticked off the list when we arrived at reception.

Fantastic experience: Situated with in the academy. Good set up with covid safety procedures. Allocated a changing room and one way system in place. Helpful staff. We were in the learner pool but it was still a good depth. A few showers in use. Lovely pool, will be back .

Positive experience: Water is warm for babies, been to shallow pool only. 0.9m deep. No private showers and very cold in private family changing rooms. But staff very helpful

Fantastic experience: Nice pool when you get there at the right time. Small pool was great as my stepdaughter could stand, and many wee toys to keep her entertained. Big pool is great too, lots of floats and pool noodles available to keep little people buoyant!

Positive experience: The children's pool is not as warm as others. No chute. Staff friendly. Some good classes. The reception is very often busy especially if there are classes going in which often means quite a wait.

Fantastic experience: Had a knee replacement 18months ago and moved to Aberdeenshire in June, 2018. Part of my recovery has been swimming regularly nearly daily. Bought a monthly pass from Aberdeenshire Council, what great value. This is a community facility and children and staff from both Ellon and visiting schools have been really helpful and supportive. Especially pool staff and of course a special mention to the reception staff. Thank you.

Positive experience: If only the café sold better coffee!! One of the few places where the vending machine coffee is better than that made at the café... Don't let that put you off visiting this centre as it has some excellent, up-to-date facilities...

Fantastic experience: Great community room for parties, they also have sports halls as an option too if you have 30 or more guests this may be more suitable. The community room has its own parking toward the back of the school so keep driving as far as you can go for the easiest route in. The community room has a secure play area outside when the sun's shining. In the likely event it's not then the room is really clean and new with lots of natural light.
