Positive experience: Changing rooms floor very unclean. Overall fine. Strange there is no lane option just lots of people swimming widths and some lengths which makes for lots of confusion. A bit odd. Could be easily resolved putting a couple of length lanes and an open swim section too. Pool nice temperature.

Negative experience: The card machine is not working. The police is called on some occasions when kids don't behave in the pool. Some dodgy nasty men go for swim to start arguements. The life guards and male reception staff luck communication skills and common sense!

Fantastic experience: The staff are nice and free swim for minors of the summer makes a great day out

Positive experience: Gym is okay, it has good leg machines, racks are clean but things like the cable machine stick and are covered in dust. The dumbbells are really long too so they just feel awkward

Negative experience: Wasn’t impressed cudnt really swim there because of people nattering in the pool changing rooms wasn’t clean snot on the walls and a soiled tissue on the floor not for me

Positive experience: I went for pilates. Julie is the best. Sometimes not enough spaces for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I normally attend the shiny new Aquatics centre. However on a visit to Tipton, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the facility was in comparison. The staff were friendly and helpful and the gym had all the equipment you would need for a good workout, the gym was also reasonably quiet, however it was a weekday. Unfortunately I didn't try a class. If Tipton was nearer to my home address I would certainly use it more often with my one-card membership. Definitely worth giving it a try.

Fantastic experience: Nice pool, staff are friendly and helpful. We come every week to get the kids used to the water.

Negative experience: Staff, pool and facilities are excellent but the timetable is atrocious making the whole place useless to me unfortunately. Swim session was cut short by a Zumba class (which only took up half the pool). A maximum of 45 mins of swimming is not enough for some people! Especially when you can't necessarily get there at the beginning of the session due to work or traffic. Please bring back the old timetable (just turn up), extend the swim times, or at least cut the pool in half and share the space. It's annoying as the lifeguards actually treat you like you've got common sense and you can actually dive here.

Positive experience: Could be better tbh, some of the changing room doors can't be locked and have been the same for quite a while. the staff are really nice and easily can be talked to. General cleanliness can be lacking too

Fantastic experience: Excellent with respect to the swimming pool, especially for learning to swim with the multitude of lessons for all ages and abilities available, as they have so many swimming instructors. Our 4 year old Grandson has advanced so quickly in 4 weeks at one half hour a week.

Fantastic experience: Decent pool, not overcrowded and sessions start and end on time. Clean. Lockets require non- refundable 20p for usage.

Negative experience: Absolute dog hole, damaged locks on changing room, dirty floors, the swimming pool tastes of salt, the windows in the pool area look like they've never been cleaned, over all its a dirty place.

Fantastic experience: Joined the gym and love each class I attend mostly the aqua aerobics on a Monday morning, even if I look like I am drowning most of the time

Fantastic experience: Went to a session when there was floats in the pool and it was family oriented. My kids and myself loved it, all staff are very friendly from reception to poolside. Clean changing rooms and plenty of warm showers. Parking is good and the whole site has easy access. Me and my kids will definitely be going here again.

Positive experience: Lack of staff on the desk, so always a que. But apart from that, the bath are not bad. Just need to sort the showers out

Negative experience: Staff are so rude, poor communication, they tell people information that is not true and no where on there website dose it say theres only a limited amount of people aloud in the costa del tipton. The staff are just horrible and rude!!!!

Fantastic experience: I enjoy going there staff or friendly and matt that do the aqua Zuma class make everyone feel very comfortable he is amazing instructor.

Fantastic experience: Best pool I have been to because the lifeguards actually trust you as a parent to allow the kids to go into the deeper end. My son is 10 and he is very confident in water but he does get tired if asked to swim 25m but he can swim a width of the pool. However he likes to dive which means going down the deeper end. I am always on edge when I go swimming waiting for the lifeguards to tell him/me that he cannot be in the deep end which really upsets him. However the Tipton staff said it was fine if I stayed with him which is a sensible approach. Really annoys me when the lifeguards don't trust you as a parent to decide if your child can go in the deeper end as long as you stay near so top marks to them.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️John @ Tipton SLT⭐️ John been leading the Les Mills Body Pump classes with the instructor. Seeing him pushing the class has been so impressive because we usually only see him on the gym floor. He’s been motivating everyone in class and the energy levels have been super high - so much we have to open the doors even when it’s cold ☺️. His push and persuasion has led to a good number of gym users to try out the classes too and they seem to be enjoying themselves. John is a friendly and hard working person. When he’s around the gym is spotless - everything is squeaky clean and smells lovely. He always goes that extra mile to help people and never says no. I hope John is recognised for all his hard work and efforts - he’s an asset to our gym. His participation with members has led to an increase to the number of users. I wish him the best of luck and hope to see him as our new class instructor.

Fantastic experience: Very modern facility with good car parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was quite warm and very clean. My granddaughter loves it. Now, a weekly event. Very safe with lifeguards.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool and lovely staff. Lockers available and money returnable, showers are servicable. It's a lovely pool and friendly place. Sometimes it's daunting going somewhere on your own, this place is nice and friendly.

Positive experience: The ideal place for a workout, Is it perfect, not quite yet, but if they added a sauna and steam room it would be perfect. That's just personal preference. The staff are amazing, they really make you feel welcome. The gym has everything you need to get a good work out and I always love to end it with a nice swim. All in all, it's a great place

Negative experience: Staff was'nt very helpul at all , talking behind a screen could'nt hear a word they were saying so I walked out.

Negative experience: Considering that you're at least double the price of all other gyms, I think it's a poor move to remove the included personal trainer help the membership has included each month and putting it behind a further pay wall. There's now no reason not to move elsewhere and more than halve my membership costs by joining PureGym, unless you're going to reduce the cost now that you've reduced the service given?

Negative experience: Since I came here I noticed the staff was always rude, there was this staff who blamed somebody who didn't do anything and when I wanted to jump into the water the staff said I could then afterward she said I can't jump in water she was rude and the staff was standing still into this person who was watching people swim. wednesbuary leasure centre is the best for people who want to swim the staff are always kind

Negative experience: Sent 2 emails now since October and am being ignored. I have been charged for swimming lessons despite cancelling them previously. I received notification of the cancellation, but was charged the following month. I then got phone calls to say my child’s lesson wouldn’t be going ahead ‘this week’! I told them I had cancelled the lessons 2 months prior. OMG What a shambles! No one is replying to my pleasant email enquiries, so its time to change tactics.

Fantastic experience: Great to be back. As a family we love going there for swimming and it was really hard when they was shut. Which is understandable. But now they are back and must say well done to all the staff for pulling it all together and keeping it very organised and hygienically clean. Its a well done job by all the staff and they all deserve a pat on the back. Great to be back in the pool

Positive experience: I think the gym is pretty good here. My only complaint is the staff/trainers are always busy, which is unfortunate because you need to be briefed for a few different machines and the weight area... But other than that, It's pretty good.
