Fantastic experience: Enjoyable golf on the 18 hole short course this morning, not busy hence relaxing. Much course repair being undertaken with aproaches to greens obscured on some holes, bunkers water filled & hideous underlying soft greens. Too many piles of banked up leaves around the course with short holes made the shorter by the pin position. Shall not play here again until the spring A great shame.

Positive experience: I'm a flexi member at the course and the facilities are great. Trackman, driving range, pro shop, cafe/ restaurant, pirate golf, a full size 9 hole, 18 hole par 3 and the main course, again 18 holes. Well worth the visit and they take good care of all the courses

Positive experience: Very busy Sunday lunchtime. Wait for food was short, helpful and pleasant staff. Fair pricing. Two small points. It is a no cash environment which can catch you out. Please stop using rubber cheese in the burgers, more suitable to roofing!

Positive experience: Lovely 18 hole course in the local area, a widely renowned club for fellow golfers. Driving range facilities include a trackman golf ball tracker, which is very helpful to work out your distances. Though, can be quite pricy if a visitor.

Negative experience: We have been coming to Hoebridge ever since it opened years ago. I meet my brother and we hit balls on the range play the short course and stop to have bacon roll and a drink. We always have a hot chocolate while on the driving range only this week I ordered a reg hot chocolate and surprised when the small take away cup was only half full I commented thinking it would be topped up but was told half a cup was a regular size and large was to the top at £3.20 it really did seem I was being taken for a ride surely this is an expensive hot chocolate £6.40 for two. Then lunch we had two pints of coke from the tap two bacon rolls and a portion of chips for £24.00 maybe I’m out of touch with prices but unfortunately just feel I’m being ripped off shame S.Field

Positive experience: Although it is always pretty busy, the main course is decent and kept in good condition. I haven't played the two smaller courses so can't comment on them. Food and drink are good. Prices are sensible so it's a popular choice for golf societies.

Fantastic experience: Significantly exceeded expectations, greens had been hollowtined a few weeks before which would be my only complaint, otherwise the whole venue is well set up with practice facilities and a range, layout was really enjoyable with lots of drops and great views.

Fantastic experience: Considering the amount of rain and conditions at other courses, this course was fantastic! The greens were very wet, but the fairways and tee boxes were in great condition!

Negative experience: My review only pertains to the restaurant at the golf club, as I have been going there with my child for lunch several times a month. Typically, I order the kids' meal deal for my daughter at £7.50. Today, I discovered that it includes a dessert, although we had never been offered this before and seemingly paid for it previously. For myself, ordering is challenging due to my allergies. The one item on the menu that I can have is consistently out of stock. Thus, today I opted for a small salad, which ended up nearly costing me £9. It was simply lettuce, croutons, and dressing, which was very disappointing.

Negative experience: Greens on the main course are in terrible state. Don’t run well and the ball can hit something at any point and turn a different direction. Much worse draining courses in better state than this place Greens and tee boxes have got worse in last 3 years and the price has only gone up and up. If you’re going to charge a more premium price for a golf course, make sure your standards meet your pricing.

Fantastic experience: Used the driving range yesterday and thought it was really good value, as booked in advance and got unlimited balls. If not booking there was quite a wait, but utilised a buzzer system to let people know when their bay was ready. There's a bar in the range, which serves a selection of drinks (alcoholic and non) and food. Very well priced. Enjoyed the trackman element of the range, which tracks the flight and distance of your ball. This meant we were able to play different courses and have something to work towards rather than just hitting balls. Staff were all really friendly throughout our time there. Will definitely return.

Positive experience: We were a 2 ball stuck behind 2 x 4 balls so didn’t help pace if play but course was holding up well considering the amount of rain lately Greens are still smooth and very receptive Fairways were ok and mainly puddle free so course drains well Good pro shop and good cafe/restaurant The course is very interesting with good variety of holes and great elevation changes To be recommended

Positive experience: Pirate golf, then lunch. Pirate golf was excellent, kids had a great time. Lunch was good, highly recommended the bacon and cheese burger with a pint of neck oil.

Fantastic experience: Great venue and set up for golf with friends. We had a booth for the track man set up whilst the Ryder Cup was on. Would definitely come again

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a beautiful setting. The golf course looks well maintained and picturesque on a bright late summer day! I visited the main hall/bar for a function. The room was a good size and the golf club provided the catering which was lovely. The food was superb, the staff friendly, my only moan would be that the car park gets full quite quickly and there are very limited disabled parking spaces near to the club house and the walk up to it is both uphill and stoney. Otherwiseit was perfect. .

Negative experience: Great place but dont take cash!! I turned up with 2 kids keen to go on driving range and then have some food and we couldnt because they choose not to take cash!!!... difficult to explain that to 2 young boys who were then dissapointed. I just so happened to have forgotten my wallet on that occasion so didn't have cards. So a complete waste of time!! If they want to make money and be successful need to be more accommodating to the public. Get with it guys.

Positive experience: Been coming here since I was a kid. Absolutely great place to learn and play golf. Course is public but has a mix of challenging and easier holes - good test of golf for mid handicappers up. Would recommend to anyone wanting to ply with friends, afternoon tee slots are great value as well

Fantastic experience: Great golf range with tracer technology! A group of three of us went (we aren't local, hadn't booked and had never been to Hoebridge before) and were really impressed with the golf driving range! The bays had everything - places to perch for players not hitting, menus for the bar and a screen for the shot tracer tech. The screens let you do all the stuff modern tracer tech does with full ball tracking, virtual courses, mini games and more. The staff were more than helpful in showing us where to go and getting set up having never been before but if we're in the area again, won't hesitate in going back.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Hoebridge Golf Club after recommendations from friends. As a complete novice to golf, I have to say I was welcomed by Dan, who explained all the facilities at the club & what the club could do to help me improve my game. A great range, 3 different courses, a chipping practice area, two practice greens & a great clubhouse on site. I was also introduced to one of the golf pro's Tom, who gave me different options for lessons. I was just really impressed by the club, it's staff & how welcoming they all were. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Excellent golf resort, 3 courses Main is 18 holes par 72, really tough, very challenging, very good greens, farways, good tee's and if you are not on the fairway, rough is less forgiving. The other 2 courses are very good, Shey is a nine hole for a short round after work when Main course is very busy and Short course 18 holes par 3 is very good for improving your short game. Clubhouse, Proshop and driving range are on a high level and all staff are very friendly and high professional (I'm a foreigner here, member from 2 years and I was always treated very well and polite). I highly recommend this one!

Positive experience: A bit pricey, staff in the bar really friendly, but had a nice round of golf. BUT whoever at the club thought operating a drone over tees, and greens was a good idea think again! Not off putting at all!!

Fantastic experience: Really nice and kid’s friendly place

Positive experience: Was a bit worried when I read some of the reviews and people talked about rounds lasting 5/6 hours. It turns out I had nothing to worry about! Teed off @ 10:30 as a four ball had no one in front of us and by the time we got to the 10th we let a two ball through and continued our round and was finished in four hours. Considering the rain we've had recently the course is in good condition although the greens could do with a bit of work. Will definitely return.

Negative experience: Really nice golf course, good selection of food and drink, well stocked pro shop and great driving range. But, there's a massive problem with congestion on the course. The average 2 ball weekend round takes 5.5 hours. I've previously walked off the course after 6 hours with 3 holes to play. At one stage, there was a backlog of 3 different groups waiting on the tee. If you want to play a great course and have all the time in the world, then this course is for you. If you want to play a great course but don't have 5.5 hours to get through 18 holes, then I suggest you go elsewhere. Sadly, I don't see myself going back as a result of the excessive waiting times.

Positive experience: Mini golf for the children is very entertaining. But unfortunately the hospitality and food was very disappointing. The food arrived cold and the pizza,s were like cupboard to eat. So if you want to play golf ideal. If you want to eat go somewhere else?

Positive experience: Good course, nice staff and generally a very pleasant experience. Warm up facilities are spot on, with driving range, putting green and practice chipping area. Price was quite steep for the course this time of year, as it wasn’t in great condition but that’s more down to the sorry excuse of a Spring we have had, up until now. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Just come back from a Custom Fitting at Hoebridge with Johnny White, and felt the need to write a review on what a fantastic experience I had. From the moment I arrived, Johnny couldn’t have been more accomodating. The custom fit facility is superb…modern, well setup and with all the combinations needed to make the custom fit feel “just that” - custom. Johnny took the time to explain the stats and arrive at the best options for me. There was no rush and we validated the different options a couple of times. Finally, at the end, he very kindly offered my daughter time on the range to practice her swing. Thanks for making it such a rewarding experience. We’ll be back.

Fantastic experience: I've been here several times to play crazy golf and every time it's been great (for both adults and children). The club/restuarant is also great, reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly and helpful

Positive experience: Decent course, some interesting holes. Fairways are generous and greens are pretty straightforward. Quite a bit of contour though. Great condition considering it's freezing and wet recently. Good range facility and golf shop. Will look forward to playing a round in the summer. One thing they can do far better is to police the pace, we just finished a round for 4 hours and 45 minutes, which is not acceptable, being held up by a number of slow groups in front, and the group immediate in front and behind us left with clear frustrations.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a golfer but had a few hits (and misses) at the golf range, loved chatting with Ed and enjoyed a delicious butternut squash and fennel soup - only niggle was it was accompanied by white sliced bread.

Positive experience: Fun pirate themed mini golf. Plenty of water features means there is quite a high chance you kids might accidentally get wet but they all loved it.

Fantastic experience: Good course and facilities. Friendly staff. Dry in winter, rarely closed. No halfway house, but you are back to the clubhouse after 9 holes. Can be slow at weekends.

Positive experience: Trackman range virtual courses are excellent. Staff are generally very helpfull. The general atmosphere is more like ten pin bowling thana golf club. Great for families and teens. This does cause for busy noisy environment with some guest selfishly unaware of disturbing others. I have now stopped going as Horsham is far more civilised

Positive experience: Food was terrible. We had a Society do. The meat pie was all thick pastry, no meat. The mash was ruined by overdoing the mustard seed. Very poor indeed

Positive experience: Great 18 hole course and par three 9 hole course. Great practice facilities, bar and well stocked pro shop. Will be back when the fairways are lush and green.

Fantastic experience: Pirate golf! My son went once, then again... and again... he is 3.5! If we are ever in the area its the first thing he asks to do. Tips are either arrive early or late... there's not staggered starts so if you book at 10am, so have 5 other families so you get stuck at the first hole! The golf is around water, but don't worry! If the ball goes in, there are rods dotted around to fish them out. Most people don't realise until they've spent 10 minutes trying to get their ball out with the golf club. The last hole, the ball goes in and that's that, so if you've skipped any holes go back and do those first. Suitable for young kids of they enjoy and can swing a golf club. The food at the club is also nice and the staff are very accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place, only took part in the 18 hole crazy pirate golf and had a great time. Nice cheeky beer after just cool down. A brilliant place and one that I will definitely be returning too.

Negative experience: Website says kitchen open until 8pm with last orders at least 30 mins before making it 7:30. Came in at 6:45 and been told the kitchen closes at 6:30 on a Sunday. Please update the website otherwise there is no point having one if the information is wrong.
