Fantastic experience: Not too shabby !

Positive experience: Pretty good gym and membership is a good price...but the staff can be a little reserved at times

Positive experience: Nice size pool. No baby pool. Changing rooms not very child friendly. Seats broken. Also got an ear infection from pool.

Negative experience: Not a great first visit. Changing rooms weren’t the cleanest and my partner cut his foot on a broken tile in the pool. I emailed them politely just letting them know what had happened as he had my 8 year old step son with him so could have been him. 5 days later and the email I sent hasn’t even had a response or acknowledgement from them. Poor and I would AVOID!

Fantastic experience: Went to the sports hall for a non sporting event. Parking was available over two or three car parks , leading to easy, accessible entrance directly into the hall. The hall itself was of a good size, light , airy and clean. Facilities were also easily available

Positive experience: Saturday bouncy castles great if rain .look on line 1st other events may take priority.

Fantastic experience: Just signed up for the Unlimited membership and already loving it.

Positive experience: Really clean and very friendly staff. Only problem is the music and adverts blaring in background. Not relaxing

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff are very helpful, taking the time to welcome a newbie, pool is a boom pool, so it is adjustable depth to allow aqua aerobic class to take place at the same time as open swimming. Does reduce the length of the pool, but it's better than closing the whole pool to allow classes to take place. It's so impressive.

Negative experience: Poor communication from the team. You can never be sure if the facilities are actually open or not. Social media isn't updated or reliable and neither is the website. Seems like they just don't care.

Fantastic experience: Children have weekly swimming lessons great service. Changing rooms clean.

Positive experience: Quite expensive for what you get. Staff are very friendly which is good, but facilities are not fantastic given the cost. Car park is often very full as it's small relative to the number of members, and I have needed to park on the road and walk up before which isn't ideal. The gym has an ok range of equipment, but not a gigantic amount and the room itself is quite small and not well ventilated (so it does get really quite hot in there with pretty still air - very sweaty!). The music playing in the gym is often so loud as well that there's not much point trying to listen to your own, because even with noise cancelling headphones on it's loud enough to be heard over your own music, especially if there is a spin class on as then it's always played ridiculously loud. Dry change facilities are tiny and not particularly good. Everything is kept very clean and well maintained however.

Negative experience: Pool was far too cold for a child. My son and I went swimming today here for the first time. Won’t be coming back. Had to get him out of the pool because his teeth were chattering. Apparently the filters had just been cleaned so Ice cold water was pumped in for the whole time we were there.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant friendly, and helpful staff. Amazing atmosphere and professionally run. Great coffee, amazing facilities would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 grandsons swimming. You need to book and arrive wearing you swimming clobber under your clothes. You take a shopping basket into the poolside and put your clothes in it leaving it on the side. We had a great time in the pool for about an hour and there weren't too many others in there so everyone felt safe. At the end of your swimming slot you pick up your basket, put it in a cubicle, have a shower, then leave the basket in the cubicle so they know which ones have been used and clean accordingly. It was also a really reasonable price. We can't wait to all go again.

Negative experience: Pleasant front office staff, good gym equipment, but the gym doesn't seem to be checked before I arrive at 07.00. I nearly always have to ask for the news channel to be switched on, and the mats and floor are usually grubby.

Fantastic experience: My nearly 5yr old grandson has started swimming lessons here and he loves it. They have a pool with a movable floor that they can raise or lower dependant on requirements.

Fantastic experience: Great classes and great staff. Always friendly and helpful. I just wish the fitness suite was bigger so there was more space for free weights.

Negative experience: Stood at reception while the lady was busy on her phone. I asked about public swim and paid for it. 10 minutes after getting in the pool half of it was then closed off for infant lessons. Very poor customer service that she failed to mention they were taking place when I specifically asked about public swim.

Positive experience: Very nice centre but I had a problem today. I went swimming during the over 50s and disabled session. There were a group of 5 men chatting in a circle in the middle of the pool. I asked them to take their conversation to the side of the pool or the cafe but all I got was a tirade of verbal abuse. A manager was called but she could not do anything. The men continued to shout at me while talking to her! One of the men said to me that the session was for the elderly and the disabled, I am not disabled but I am 66 son I think I qualify! I think that the manager did not handle the situation very well although she did promise she would talk to her seniors about the incidence. She knew them as regulars, so I hope something is done cause I intend to go next week. They have not put me off. Think partly the problem was as I am a woman they did not like being challenged as men! Though that description does not bear any resemblance to the bullish attitude I experienced today.

Positive experience: Very family friendly sports centre and plenty of options to fit people of all abilities! Staff are excellent very friendly and helpful. Very good range of classes with excellent instructors. Personal Training is also offered at very good prices.

Fantastic experience: Great friendly gym, the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. They are always there to help and happy to answer questions. The price is slightly expensive but when factoring in what you get for it it is a great deal. A very nice well laid out sports centre. It has a lot of good gym equipment so you can work almost all the types of muscles in your body. Swimming pool is a good size and great for the odd swim. They have a lot of classes available for every skill range.

Fantastic experience: Really nice pool, really helpful staff. Really good disabled access. Lots of parking spaces, then 2 disabled changing rooms with showers. Hoist into the pool or the floor of the pool raises up to the floor level, so you can walk in and they lower you into the water.

Positive experience: Good facility with an excellent pool. The pool often gets overcrowded due to the few periods for free swimming, and lanes being isolated for the "serious" swimmers. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the gym equipment is very good, and well maintained. My wife and I really enjoy our sessions at the centre.
