Fantastic experience: A very well kept and well-managed site, lots of friendly staff who are willing to help and make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The accommodation is excellent. They have a wide range of caravans and lodges, even a treehouse for those with a higher budget! It’s a huge site with over 1000 caravans or lodges, but they are very well spaced out in a site which has been meticulously landscaped to blend in with the woodland environment. We had no faults or issues to contend with all week, which was nice as you go on holiday to enjoy yourself and not be wasting time chasing up issues that may arise. In summary, a thoroughly enjoyable break, and we will definitely be going back again.

Fantastic experience: Lodge was great, facilities were really nice.

Fantastic experience: We had an exceptional break at Shorefield and the most important aspect was the incredible service from all the staff, especially in the Beachcomber restaurant. Our Greyhound was also made very welcome and made a fuss of, this is a big thing to make our stay extra special, thank you. The lodge was clean and well equipped and we really enjoyed the hot tub, even though it was October. The only slight negative on the accommodation would be the sofa's, they are just too low and really uncomfortable. The whole site is very well kept and we didn't see one piece of litter during our stay. We will 100% be back and are even considering a holiday home purchase.

Positive experience: We stayed for a weekend in a static mobile home. Great location, lovely local walks. Will definitely go back. Milford is a lovely village with a friendly vibe.

Positive experience: I loved the lodge but it was very shady with trees. It was very clean although the settees were very low and needed stains removed and were too soft. Beds also, not the best mattress and had to put a duvet cover on from a spare bed to make it more comfortable. It was a 3 bed select + lodge. Huge area & lovely walk to Milford on sea from the site. Lots of birds & squirrels.

Fantastic experience: Just spent 4 nights here and got to say was very impressed by the accommodation (supreme caravan I think it was called). It was very clean upon arrival. Not that I used many of the facilities there but they've got pretty much everything you need. The onsite shop is well stocked and I've got to say I thought the restaurant was excellent. All staff were really polite and the food was delicious in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: Arrived for our stay last week and received a message with the location to our lodge which was really easy to locate. Arrived at the lodge to be greeted by a lovely gentleman who was fixing the lock on the door, he explained that the lock was playing up and will need replacing but would be fine as long as we were not to forceful with it. The lodge itself was really nice and spacious with plenty of bedroom space and the bathroom had a bath, the only issue I could find with the bathroom was no bathmat for the actual bath as it was a bit slippery when I tried to get out and I did fall over But no harm was done . The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of space to put our clothes. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay including a dishwasher which we didn't use. We had outdoor furniture but didn't make use of it as our lodge had large trees and it was quite shaded and it got quite chilly in the evening and we were out most days. The site itself is really lovely and very well maintained and a short walk through the park you can find the beach. There's a bus stop opposite the bar which was great and we spent 2 days travelling through the beautiful new forest visiting the amazing little villages in the surrounding areas. The bar was good with plenty of seating area's and a dog friendly area even though we were able to bring our Dog into most areas of the bar. Lots of alcoholic beverages available and even though the food menu wasn't huge what we had was good. As it is coming towards the end of the summer season the kitchen closed earlier than usual but this was made clear as you enter the bar. Swimming pool was lovely and as I went early in the morning it wasn't busy and there was various swimming sessions available which were advertised on the board at the main reception area. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again

Fantastic experience: We have recently started cleaning some of the Airbnb cabins and caravan. These are holiday change over cleaning. It’s a real pleasure to be able to ensure all future guests enjoy their holiday

Positive experience: Swimming pool floor very slippy, so the outside is also slippy...so if you need to get in the pool around the shallow side care must be taken.

Fantastic experience: We stayed a week at Shorefield they do 3,7 and 14 day holidays. The site is clean and the caravans all well looked after. Swimming pool is hour slots and activities for kids can be difficult to book during the summer. We stayed on Downtown side of the site, which was a bit of a walk to the beach but close to the main sites amenities. Bedrooms are very small so be warned. You get a t-towel, washing up liquid and a bin bag all beds are made up with white sheets and we had a personal parking space (not included with all caravans). Staff were lovely and despite having a few issues with how loud our neighbours were they dealt with it quickly and sensibly. All in all it was a good week close to the town of new Milton housing a supermarket and takeaway options. Sadly costing £980 for 7 days we probably won't be returning. But the restaurant was amazing (yet expensive) and evening entertainment was great fun.

Fantastic experience: Well kept site with good facilities. Great accommodation that was clean and well equipped. Easy check-in with lockbox. Good to have two pools indoor and outdoor with set sessions for families and adults. Restaurant food was good quality and plenty of options at a reasonable price. Staff were all friendly. Bingo was great fun and there were plenty of activities throughout for the day and evening for kids. Would definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Went for a week in August private rental caravan. Absolutely beautiful well kept site.Because it is so big it can be a long walk to the shop on site if you are situated away from it but a lovely walk.Quite site but facilities are good.Small amusements could be bigger but the entertainment was very good.Lovely swimming pool and we booked the football court one evening. Lovely place to base yourself and not too far from the beach .

valerie perrin 1 year ago

Positive experience: Our first visit with our 5 grandchildren, plus their mum and dad. We had 2 caravans between us. Very comfortable. Very nice. Thankyou. On a negative side, disappointment was we felt the Spar supermarket on site was quite expensive....ie a small tin of peas at £1.29 a tin? Also no fresh vegetables available.... So we had to make a special trip to Lidl - we really could not rely on your shop. Also, we were refused some tap water for our grandchild on our last evening, who was coughing at the time.....for which we couldn't believe you would refuse!

Ian Kitchen 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Both indoor & outdoor pools were great! Where we stayed was exceptional! Short walk to a nice beach, only thing was the entertainment & amusements were a little small.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to stay pretty central to visit the new forest and surrounding area's, all the staff are very helpful and well mannered, food in the restaurant was top notch, beer was nice but not worth £6 a pint this was my only complaint though and I will be going again.

Fantastic experience: Lovely site, as with camping sites everywhere you see all walks of live coming together to enjoy their version of the great outdoors, the shower and loo blocks are the main thing people want to know about when looking for a campsite. You still get the aforementioned "all walks of life" using the facilities, from the guys perfecting their quiff in the mirror, to the bald guy using the wall mounted hair dryer to dry his balls after a shower. The staff still keep the facilities is a good condition for everyone to use (although I tend to not use the hair dryer after the image I described). There are a good number of showers and loo's and I've not had to queue so far this trip and we are currently staying during school holidays. The other thing g to mention about the showers is they are proper adjustable showers and not the ones where you need to press a button every five seconds, to keep the water flowing. There are also decent washing up facilities and there are cloths all all sinks to try to clean the sinks down after use to keep it nice for the next user, which may seem a small thing but really goes a long way to keeping the place nice as a whole. While typing this review I noticed a guy walking round with a litter picking stick, again showing the efforts they go to to keep the site nice for everyone. Its not just the facilities that the staff also show pride in keeping in tip-top condition, but the simple act of collecting the grass cuttings after mowing makes a huge difference in reducing the mess walked into your tent or caravan. The staff also are always friendly and have answers to hand for many of the questions we have regarding the surround areas. The site we are staying at has a sister site a mile or so down the road with free swimming pools and evening entertainment too. On this site itself there is a small communal "den" with some comfy sofas and pool table and a couple arcade games, keep you k Felling too cooped up on the rainy days. Also a play park which our kids loved, to burn off some of their excess energy. All in all this site has a nice friendly atmosphere and we would certainly come back to visit again.

Negative experience: On arrival I told the receptionist that my brother had booked a stay here for me for my birthday, I was told where my caravan was & given a map. Everything was great to this point, on going to the restaurant a waitress came to our table Shauna I believe her name was, extremely rude, got our order wrong not once but three times, I asked to see a manager & a man called Adam asked what the problem was, I explained about the waitress & my order to which he replied that he would deal with it. When our food arrived it was cold & undercooked, we sent it back, once again Adam came back to our table & said that our order would be with us as soon as possible, we waited over half an hour before it arrived, by this time I was absolutely furious there was no apology for the wait. We did not eat as it was too late, we went back to our caravan & we decided to go home the following morning. I would not recommend this site to any of my family, rude staff, disgusting service, bad management & cold food. All staff need better training on how to talk to customers & how to do their job properly.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful holiday to celebrate my retirement with children and grandchildren. Site clean, tidy and well run.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic caravan holiday. The caravan was spotless and perfect for 3 children and 3 adults. The facilities were great with the exception of the indoor pool changing rooms/ toilets which could be kept cleaner. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and I couldn't fault them. So friendly and accommodating. The entertainment team I must say were the best! The kids loved them, the adults found them funny and I just highly recommend this place for a family holiday.

Fantastic experience: First time coming to shorefield and wow we all loved it , stayed in a wooden lodge ages ranged from 6 to 85 , all of them loved it . Lodge was ready on arrival and spotlessly clean , attention to detail was fab , kids loved the entertainment, facilities all good and boy we were lucky with the weather , I actually can't say anything negative and can't wait to return . Thank you so much x

Mr Khan 1 year ago

Negative experience: They have a decent gym. I liked going to the sauna and the steam room which has a swimming pool outside it, some people I was speaking to had a gym only membership there, but other than that I didn’t really get up to much, it was too quiet and the shop near reception was expensive but the people who worked there were calm.

Positive experience: Great location. Beautiful large clean modern family caravan. Lots to do for families.. Two swimming pools indoor & out. Tennis courts and football goals. Ideal for young families. Wee shop ( expensive). Great leafy location right by the pebble beach and in the New Forest. Well maintained grounds, spotless. Great stay overall, but like most UK hols, expensive !

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent short break in a 2 bedroom caravan. The caravan and the site generally were kept to a very high standard. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The Beachcomber restaurant had an area set aside for people with dogs, which was really helpful. The food was very good and was reasonably priced. There is a dog walk at the top end of the site, which is mostly in the shade. We will hopefully come back again

Positive experience: Good location. Booking early costs more as they reduce prices later, which seems unfair to those who book and have paid their deposits.

Positive experience: Booked a dog friendly caravan on arrival we were in the B section very close together no outdoor space had to sit on steps for evening drink tried to upgrade with decking to keep our 2 dogs in & asked for child gate to put across door but couldn't accommodate either so had to keep door closed. We had booked for week but left after 3 nights. It might be an idea for Shorefield to send u pictures of ur accommodation so that u can c what ur getting.Caravan was clean & restaurant very good.

Positive experience: I've been coming to shorefield for a few years after my parents in law buying a caravan in Covid19. It's had a few teething problems with the restrictions back then but is all back up and running now. They have just renovated the restaurant which is nice the robots are cool. Some updates to the park at the top which has a nice new pirate ship. I must say my review today is negative as I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of customer service when we have a problem. We have had a few problems over the years but always with the swimming pool. One it is filthy and has got increasingly worse over the years. There's about 80 people in a pool at one time which always feels crammed due to ita odd shape. There is a terrible queuing system where by people get one person to wait and get everyone else to join them. You end up queuing up like cattle for ques over an hour long. Today we had 10 people jump in infront with a lady on reception saying that's the rules there allowed to wait for other people. This resort feels like I'm on a 2 star and not a luxury experience as shorefield describes. Dont get me wrong in no way do i expect luxury but if your paying so much for the carvans and fees your expect some level of decency. Some of the guests are like something from benidorm with an entitled attitude. I would say the experience is stressful. I had suggested to shorefield about a different system because there is so much hostility in the waiting line. I've always been met with defensiveness from the customer service and it seems there more focused on defending rather than open to hearing what could not be working out so well. If your paying at shorefield there happy to facilitate but the customer service falls flat if it's included on the grounds. Some beautiful lodges here but I can honestly say I can't see people spending all that money to use such shocking facilities. The reception staff could do with some training as they have more attitude then a doctors surgery.

Positive experience: Family holiday over the easter holidays. It was our first caravan park holiday and we were very pleased with shore fields. Location is great for exploring the coast and surrounding area. The facilities onsite are very good and plenty of live entertainment if that’s your type of thing. Swimming pool was great, food and shop were convenient being right next to our site. Overall we would visit again.

Sébastien Pastor 1 year ago

Negative experience: We have encountered several issues from the beginning to the end of our stay. I just wanted to add that we never had such an experience among all the holiday camps we went to and we went to a few. Issue number 1: We arrived at caravan B24 and the whole kitchen was covered in ants. Not just a few ants but entirely covered, the floor, the hobs. It was shocking. Why was the caravan not checked beforehand? My one year old was walking around literally picking them up. We then wasted time to be transferred to another caravan: Downton 115 where we were left already with a very unwelcoming taste of the holiday camp. After unpacking we just wanted to open a bottle of wine but there was no bottle opener. Not a major issue of course, but it's just not a great start. Issue number 2: When I woke up in bed in the morning I was shocked again to find a dirty brown sock around my feet. I have spent the whole night sleeping with this dirty sock from someone else. Would you pay to stay in a hotel where dirty things lie in your bed? Issue number 3: It seems that the boiler was very temperamental and not working properly. We woke up the first morning absolutely freezing because it stopped working. My 4 years old was literally shivering. The boiler started to work miraculoulsy again. However, on the last day it completely broke. The boiler man came around and after a while explained that the boiler needed a new PCB. We were unable to take showers. When we explained to the receptionist that we needed more time to check out to sort out the showers she said that normally the cleaning team comes at 10am, she was not very understanding and couldn't tell us if we could have a bit more time to get ready or not. Now I will share a few feedbacks: there was one old urine smells in the swimming pool cubicals, Not a fresh smell but indicating that it's not being cleaned regularly. The trampolines in the big playground are unsafe when it rains as it retains water and you don't know until you actually jump on them. We tried to get a bit of compensation due to the bad experience but that did not happen because we did stay until the end. I mean I was not going to leave in the middle of the holidays, it wouldn't be fair for the kids or anyone. But the above issues did impact on our stay and we will not be going back. To be honest I am feeling like making a video and to put it on YouTube to show what happened...

Nicola Mowat 1 year ago

Positive experience: Probably our fault as we didn't pay that much attention to the details, but the Statement caravan was a bit small for 3 adults and 2 jack russells. We were in the "B" section which is a little like being a sardine in a tin, surrounded by many, many other tins! There are much nicer areas of the camp however. Lots of facilities on site and probably ideal for families, if a little big and busy for our stage of life.

Tim 1 year ago

Positive experience: Arrived during the evening after a long day to be shouted at by grounds staff for removing a post which prevented my car from being fully on the allocated parking spot. I'd needed to park there because there were cars queuing behind me and apparently no where else to go in the moment. My car wouldn't fit. Amazed at how this young man felt it is appropriate to talk angrily to a paying customer - even if I had done something that irritated him, but very telling in terms of the true contempt they have for the demographic that usually use their facility. Apologies made by two of his managers - although I detected one of them was not genuinely sorry - just regarded me as another annoying customer who'd damaged the grass. They should really consider extending the parking with gravel because the place is a bog. I suggested that if they were that bothered about the grass he should get a job at Kew gardens - not a caravan park. No further issues with these guys - they were generally friendly helpful from them on. I expect that my reaction to the initial onslaught might have been a bit aggressive too. Heating system on full blast when I arrived - like a sauna for an hour after I turned it off. Bed mattresses very uncomfortable, very poor sleep quality -single beds that deposit you on the floor when you turn over in the night - they're that unstable. So I slept on the sofa for 3 weeks - like a rack. Kitchen knives so blunt - you could be stabbed by one and suffer no injury. No tin opener, or other crucial kitchen utensils that I can't recall but needed. Oven rather ineffective - either burned one side of the food or did nothing at all. WiFi absolutely rubbish - buffered constantly or simply threw me off every time I used it, unacceptable in todays world to advertise WiFi and supply such a poor service. Otherwise it was fine for a trailer park. I wouldn't hurry back though!

Positive experience: We stayed in a private rent and didn't use any of the facilities. Even so, we had a good look around, and I must say, since we last stayed 12 years ago, the site has improved immensely. We stayed in March so the weather wasn't brilliant, but we were visiting an ill relative and needed somewhere to stay. Only real downside is it's quite expensive to stay here.

Alan C 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Stayed in a lovely 4 berth, dog friendly caravan which was spotlessly clean with everything working as it should be. Very friendly and helpful reception staff couldn’t make us feel more welcome. On site bar/restaurant also had dog friendly area and again very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We spend a wonderful 4 days here this week, lovely new refurbished restaurant and entertainment area, the staff were so happy and friendly which really made the holiday. Only downside was the lodge smelled strongly of dogs on arrival so a deeper clean would be recommended

Joey M 1 year ago

Positive experience: We stayed in Serendipity caravan in the Downtown area of the park. Lovely modern clean caravan with everything you need to self cater. Was pleasantly surprised to find it had bathroom and ensuite! Only gripe was it smelt of cigarette smoke when we arrived - we kept windows open overnight and asked reception for air freshener which they provided but it did linger which wasnt great with a toddler. I know that wasn't the site's fault as they can't police it but maybe we should have asked to move to a different caravan in hinds sight! Facilities are great, all clean, modern and well equipped. Particularly want to note the disabled facilities near the arcades as there was even a hoist changing bed which was great to see. Husband said gym was well equipped and is free for guests. Pool could do with a little tlc as a number of tiles had come off which could cause an injury. Changing rooms could do with an update to match the rest of the sites modern and clean look and feel too but they were fine for purpose. Site is big and enough space between caravans, and its clean and well looked after! Less than 10 mins walk to the beach. Want to particularly mention the entertainment team - they were great and even though there were few children during our stay they made so much effort with them and are very good at their job. Overall we had a great stay and for the price we paid (<£200!) we would recommend and come back! Plus it's 30 mins from Paultons Park which is definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic experience: Lovely holiday park this place is just all about luxury and peace and quiet and that is what you get, 5 star all day long I would recommend anyone who what's a peaceful relaxing break to come here because you definitely get that

Oge Obiudu 1 year ago

Positive experience: We were both on leave and decided to get away for a short while.  We booked here for 5 days, and the check-in was contactless, which was good. The caravan was okay. Although the towel radiator in the first restroom should be repainted as it is rusted and we couldn't use it, the hoover in the main bedroom could be kept somewhere else as we couldn't use the wardrobe as it was kept there, as well as the cloth hanger. Apart from these, we had a good stay. Also, this park is kid-friendly. There is a swimming pool, gym, shop, arcade, bar, and restaurant for all your leisure activities

Ross O. 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I found this an ideal place to relax in the heart of the New Forest and close to the sea. There is entertainment every night for both adults and children. There is a choice between caravans and lodges (I stayed in a lodge). I enjoyed the use of the gym (Very well equipped and free for guests), the indoor swimming pool and steam room (again free for guests although you may need to queue to enter during busy periods). The reception staff were very helpful

Eva S. 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: This is a very special corner of the world; we drove in and out through the New Forest and were just stopping constantly, looking at the donkeys crossing the village roads or buying homemade jam from a farm shop. This holiday park is really the ideal place to take the kids - the amenities make it absolutely amazing value for money as you're not just getting a place to sleep, you are also getting access to a lovely pool, arcade, entertainment, gym, playground and restaurant (with £1 kids' breakfast). Add onto that that you are only a short drive from some truly stunning beaches (we loved Avon Beach, where we ate lobster rolls and ice-creams before going on the little ferry boat to the sand bank) and the New Forest and it makes it a very convenient holiday with children of all ages, as well as a stunning and interesting break for adults. I particularly appreciated all the touches in the caravan for children: toys, crockery, etc. and the robot waiter in the main restaurant (the kids could not get enough of it!).

Nik Edwards 2 years ago

Negative experience: Great location and site but let down by a couple of things. The main restaurant is high priced microwave food, ok if you are in a hurry but we ate just once and a family of four with 2 kids under 10 came to almost £80 with very poor service. Dry/tasteless food seems to be normal for these sites. Access to the small swimming pool was extremely slippery and seems to have been noted by a number of gusts but not dealt with. Sounds daft but not when you have kids in tow. Entertainment was pretty good but repetitive, nice clean site over all and our lodge was spotless. Wouldn't pay On Peak rates for a site like this, being near the New Forest doesn't justify the prices, it would be cheaper to buy a caravan outright but clearly some seem happy to pay over the odds. The "contactless" check in is very vague and not very clear but does make things quicker. Overall its a nice site with more lodges than just regular statics so it feels more upmarket but I'd say its only viable if you can get it out of season or on offer. I'd consider going back but looking at peak season prices already puts me off, it nice but not worth the high prices. Not bad, but not great

Positive experience: The park is very big and for the size, i dont think there are enough play areas for the children. The park is definitely missing an indoor softplay area, the food is a hit and miss and very pricey for what you get, we had a roast dinner, very disappointed, if I did'nt know any better I would have said it was boil in the bag beef, just not worth the price. Plus sides, very clean site, very clean caravan, thankyou to the cleaners. Had a problem with the showerhead, it was sorted asap. We found all staff to be very helpful and friendly. Arcade was fantastic for the little one but in the evening it was very chaotic and busy, and we went in november. The shop has everything you need and the lady that served was just lovely. Having said all this we would love to go back just not in the summer holidays as the facilities are just not enough for the size of the park (child facilities) as I feel there would be long waits for the pool, arcade and it only has 2 play parks for the little ones, We booked are little one on some activities, the staff we're excellent with the kids. These are all just constructive criticism comments.

Positive experience: This was our 2nd visit, the first being at the sister site with a motorhome. This time we stayed in a mobile holiday home, which was lovely and would do it again. The checking in time was for 4 pm, but we we're kept waiting till nearly 5 pm.. with no apology, & of no idea of where to wait or even a given a allocated no of home too park up by. Also no instructions reference bins once inside or a broom to sweep the floor & @ the age of being a senior person you don't want to be on hands & knee's with only a dustpan & brush. Service in restaurant was excellent on both occasions & shop well stocked & staffing brilliant, both very clean & tidy areas, food was excellent. They are dog friendly but could do with a dog designated area on site, very clean site & well kept.

Positive experience: Lovely and quiet camp, nice new restaurant. Though in comparison to their other site, oakdene, not certain about their entertainment out of season.

Fantastic experience: I've been here twice now and although it's grown since last time into quite a large holiday park...its still lovely with a quiet feel. Great location with some lovely walks. The kids got slightly frustrated with the swimming pool getting so busy, but that was mainly due to the rubbish weather we had that week.

Positive experience: Loads of vans to choose from ! ours was disappointing shower head a disgrace, no water at all came through it ! This was our first evening, and then the caravan lock on the door refused to lock, not a good situation! It happened to be a Sunday, so there no hardware available to replace the lock ! The site repair persons had a go it was OK for 3 days, then it was none responsive again ! The bar is OK, and the food is good but the drinks are expensive! The wine is expensive by the glass and is not to a good standard. You have to travel there is no beach !! The pools are OK but slipping behind the times as slides are now a big thing especially when charging these prices !! We paid over £550.00 for a van 1 week with no towels and no catch up TV, and batteries that didnt work the controller for TV so not perfect stay Such a shame not enough staff on reception at prime times so annoying silly little mistakes . The area is beautiful and I'd go back but would need a better caravan

Positive experience: A clean, well kept and quiet resort in an excellent location. A beautiful beach is a 10 minute walk away.

Positive experience: Great place to stay, very quiet and in a great area. The restaurant in park has great food and service, you are served very quickly. Rooms a bit cramped but what can you expect from a caravan, eh? Overall, great place to stay, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Top notch week away with the children. Entertainment for the children is good, at a good time and not too cheesy!! Arcades were ok, 2p machine got the attention of my kids the most. All facilities are great and location is spot on: 10 minutes to nearest supermarket if needed and 10 mins away from new forest for a nice chilled day. Going back in October this year for a short half term stay.

Positive experience: Lovely large park. We had a chalet with hot tub, all was very clean and felt very luxurious. Had great WiFi and smart tvs in all bedrooms, made it a bit more homely. The entertainment was minimal in the evening, the hall a lot smaller than expected but didn't get overly busy. They did put a pantomime on which was fantastic for the kids and was a highlight for sure! The restaurant was OK, lovely choice, but the food wasn't perfect, e.g was given chips and not roast potatoes which were on the menu, breakfast items missing from full English on more than one occasion. It would have been nice if the restaurant opened earlier than 9am and the whole area should be table service, not just part of it e.g when busy we couldn't sit in the main restaurant part and so had to order at the bar even though we are still in the same building.

Positive experience: Despite the weather we had a wonderful time at shore field Positives: wonderful clean caravan, lovely woodland walk, close to the beach ( car park there if needed) lovely touch having dog treats left for my pooch Negative: a map in the caravan would have been beneficial, knowing where dog's can and can't go without having to ask would help, being so dog friendly it would benefit to have some sort of day kennel's I'm a single parent and i had nowhere to leave the dog so i could go swimming with my daughter fortunately my daughter was 12 so could go alone but that wasn't ideal. All in all a great holiday and I hope things are put in place Many thanks

Positive experience: Great holiday park, but there's a few things that could make it even better. Theoutdoorr pool has adults only swimming between 10-11am, which means a family has to wait until then to use the pool. The onsite shop closes at 8pm, which, considering it's self catering accommodation, it would be nicer to have it open even an hour later. Also, the bar seems far too small for the size of the park. The location is lovely with a nice walk to the beach, on a sunny day it would be lovely, unfortunately it rained when we visited.

Fantastic experience: What a beautifully constructed Park with top quality accommodation & cleanliness. Well worth the extra cost comparatively & will be booking again.

Fantastic experience: Came here on honeymoon. Good location with access to local attractions. Stayed in the treehouses, really good novel experience and definitely worth it if you have the money or get them discounted. Didn't do much on the park as was far more interested in local attractions and restaurants, but had some good offerings, on site store, bar, spa etc. Overall great holiday.

Positive experience: Holiday Park larger than I thought it was going to be, but it is a very well run site. The landscaping and maintenance of public buildings and activity areas are kept immaculate. All of the caravans are of high specification. There are areas if woodland within the park as well as surrounding it. It's useful to pick up maps as it's easy to get lost, particularly in the woodland. Dogs are welcome everywhere and ours certainly enjoyed her stay here. You can walk to the nearest beach but it's a good 19 minute walk, depending which part of the park you're staying in. Facilities are good. Indoor and outdoor pools. Shop. Gym. Outdoor sports areas. Many children's play areas. Entertainment room, bar, restaurant and large shop. Everything you need. 2 supermarkets nearby. Easy commute to Lymington or surrounding towns. Close proximity to the New Forrest.

Fantastic experience: The site was clean and well maintained. Very close to the beach and to the forest.. Will definitely be back.. The site was peaceful, and the homes all have parking near them.. Had a wonderful break walking amongst the horses..and along the coast..

Fantastic experience: I was sceptical of a holiday outside of my comfort zone. But I was so wrong, this place was brilliant. The staff were friendly, the home was modern and clean, the amenities were up to date and great for all ages. My son had the time of his life at the arcades and swimming facilities. I loved the bar, restaurant and calming vibe at the whole site. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: 2nd stay at Shorefield. Good facilities on site, though we didn't really use any of them except the shop. Very peaceful. Our only small complaints were: cleanliness of lodge not great on arrival; kitchen knives would struggle to cut through warm butter; lodge sleeps six but seating (2 X sofas) only large enough for 4 adults.

Positive experience: Starting with the negative...we had to report an issue with our front door. After it was fixed, the very helpful handyman had said the mechanism had jammed, leaving the door unlockable. (Key was jammed in the outside of the door) We had reported this with reception on Sunday. On Tuesday we reported it to the same receptionist, making a fuss about how we've already spent 2 days waiting, 2 days with the key on show, 2 days of not knowing if someone would try their luck to break in, 2 days of moving laptops snd cameras in to the cars of a night. Hoping that all this fuss would result in someone immediately coming out..... Finally, after 3 nights of sleeping in an unsecured accommodation, 2 gentlemen turned up on Wednesday morning to replace the lock! One of the gents said it hadn't ever been reported to them! So our issue had never left the receptionist! It's this level of service that has tainted our stay. We also have the smallest of issues with our shower valve temperature handle being hard to operate, but there's no point in reporting. For the next few days we can put up with it! Every other aspect of the stay was lovely. The location is brilliant, the condition of the accommodation was spotless and clean. Good facilities.

Negative experience: We have been here for a week with someone severely disabled ........its the worst place to come as no electric doors but been told by the manager that it meets the requirements....bathroom terrible toilet to hight and to deep so her feet was hanging also we had to put our legs behind her to support her ....no shower chair available...we got told there's a shop round the corner where we could hire one ......no hoist for swimming they didn't even know what a hoist is .....but they took her money for a weeks disabled holiday which wasn't cheap £1500 when there's nothing disabled friendly here and the to top it of the staff here including the so-called manager very rude really bad attitudes no compassion for a really severely disabled young lady... entertainment at night- really bad as well.... and the food has been disgusting..... its been a really bad experience and never would I come here again ....such rude people

Fantastic experience: Excellent all round. We had accommodation through Airbnb but you can book direct. The place was immaculate. The restaurant is brilliant. There's a robot that delivers your food to your table which my boy loved and we had to go back the day after to have another look at it! The food was good. Great choice available. The entertainment for kids is good for them (if I could underline that I would!). It's a bit stale for adults but hey that's kids entertainment. If I do have one criticism the family bingo at 8pm is a bit backwards when there's over 18s only bingo at 6pm! And then storytime after this at 7pm... All seems a bit too late and back to front! Swimming areas are nice and clean. The heated outdoor pool has a snack bar for food and drink and there's a park if little ones get bored at any point. There's also access to a beach. There's a little arcade inside the main building with ticket collecting for prizes. There's also a tennis court and a 5-a-side football pitch. Out and about there are also plenty of other beaches. If you head towards Bournemouth way there are more sandy beaches rather than shingle beaches. I hear from a good source that Sandybank (I think it's called) is the best but a little isolated in terms of parking and ways in and out. Lymington isn't too far away from here if you want a day trip to the Isle of Wight by ferry. But plan your day over there in advance to make the most of it. If you want to know which Airbnb we used you can ask me separately, as this is for Shorefield itself.

Positive experience: Had a weeks stay in a caravan, lovely site and facilities. Only downside was the food in the restaurant, had breakfast which was over cooked and for the money was poor. Also had the half a chicken for dinner which was also dry and over cooked. Got overcharged for drinks twice in the bar?

Fantastic experience: Stayed in one of the private cabins. Beautiful area. Very clean and tidy. We used the outdoor pool which was a little cold but lovely, plenty of sun beds and seating. Tried the indoor pool which was smaller then expected the area for non swimmers (children) was very limited and felt over crowded. Playgrounds were in great shape and the kids loved it. Staff at reception were fantastic. On site shop had everything you needed and fair prices. Arcades were also fair priced. Evening entertainment I felt ran a little late for children and it seemed the same group of children were always the ones to receive certificates and smaller children seemed a little over looked. All in all would definitely stay here again. Super close to a great beach and large supermarket just a 5 min drive away.

Positive experience: Nice place not as kid friendly as we expected there only 1 Park and its a car drive to get to it. entertainment wasn't as advertised the few times we went and the restaurant is expensive for the food you get. Staff are really friendly and helpful site is kept very nice. If your older and have dogs this will be perfect for you.

Fantastic experience: We have stayed at Shorefield many times over the last few years. This stay was the best yet. Our caravan was spotless and very clean. I would stay it was almost new. It was situated in the B section towards the back. It was in a lovely quiet location. The dog treats was a lovely touch. We didn’t go to the facilities as we wanted to get out and about. We will be back.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic park. Entertainment in the evenings was great and happily entertained the old and young. Sneaky Blinders were amazing. The pool is spotless and we never had an issue getting beds. We had perfect weather for May half term and we were very pleased to get beds each day. Lifeguards not the most attentive but no specific complaints. Drinks and ice creams reasonably priced but bring your own picnic as they only sell crisps. We stayed in a Supreme 3 bed caravan and it was spotless, if not brand new. Very impressed with the level of cleanliness. Onsite shop is well stocked and has lovely fresh pastries each day. If you are a large party then pastries can be pre ordered the day before which is super helpful. Our only complaint was the dreadful service and poor management in the restaurant on site. I have raised this with the park directly so won't slate on here. But with some better management the restaurant could be lovely as the dinner we had (eventually) was lovely.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Shorefield Country Park for 4 nights over the May half-term. Our caravan was spotlessly clean on arrival. It was also spacious and included a dishwasher and washing machine. All the staff we met were really helpful and lovely with our 6 year old son. Our son enjoyed the squirrel squad and he really liked the breakfast activity with them. The robot at the restaurant was great entertainment value. Restaurant staff were very kind and helpful. The food itself was variable. I ordered the same dish on 2 different nights. The first night I ordered this, it was really good. The other time I ordered it I just couldn't eat it. The park itself was peaceful and didn't feel chaotic at all despite it being half-term. The playpark was modern and well maintained. Our son really enjoyed the water activities which you have to pay a bit extra for. We felt more footpaths and signage may be helpful in terms of constructive feedback. However, overall, we had a lovely, relaxing holiday. We would definitely, 100% be happy to return and we all had a fantastic time.

Positive experience: Tranquil location, although some way from all major amenities. Caravans are nice, as is bar. Shop very overpriced. Very poor mobile signal and poor wifi
