Fantastic experience: Great cafe, tasty snacks, cheerful service

Negative experience: If anyone is looking for a fun swim I would highly recommend Sherborne boys pool at the bottom of town, much more relaxed and fun. Oxley has some of the grumpiest life guards that very much kill what little fun you are aloud to have.

Positive experience: Looks like a great sports centre unfortunately it is let down by the lighting in the sports hall it's too dim to play badminton properly.

Negative experience: I’ve realised that majority of regular staff are judgemental with ugly hearts and a lack of kindness both to customers and their own employees. It is a shame because Oxley is a place with great facilities but horrible environment caused by their own failures in maintaining a safe environment for their own benefit and for their customers. Never coming back and will never recommend. In fact I have advised many against being a member here.

Positive experience: Lovely place to swim or exercise

Positive experience: Clean! Staff were lovely, pool is typical 25m 6 Lane pool... viewing only from poolside, very limited seating for gala but great atmosphere. Nice to see so well cared for and clean. Cafe was great too, smoothie cakes coffee, not overly expensive.

Positive experience: Squash courts freshly sanded but one of the boards is loose, good facilities for external members to use

Fantastic experience: Excellent sports centre. Great climbing facilities for all. Climbing wall and bouldering wall all available. Friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: A really lovely sports centre with fantastic facilities. The gym, swimming pool and courts are well kept, and brilliant to use. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help and the coffee shop inside serves some of the best coffee around. Clearly a lot of work has been put into Oxley to make it a brilliant local sports centre.

Fantastic experience: Great sports centre with regular classes, gym has technology that will make the experience more enjoyable and the pool is not too deep for young kids but is a suitable length for all

Positive experience: Great sports centre with friendly and helpful staff. The only reason I'm not awarding 5 stars is that the centre's dance studio is tired and very much in need of updating (and air conditioning should be top of the list).

Fantastic experience: Our children all attend the swim school and I am a swim member. The staff are brilliant, always professional and helpful, especially with the children. The facilities are well appointed and maintained. Highly recommended. Georgina Howland

Fantastic experience: I am a member of the gym at Oxley and my daughter has been attending swimming lessons for the last 3 years. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful, the swim teachers are all great and my daughter has benefited so much and as soon as her sisters old enough she will be going. The gym equipment is all in great condition, easy to use and the gym is always very clean. I have recommended Oxley to anyone who asks about swimming lessons.

Fantastic experience: Such friendly staff and super fun classes. The difficulty is deciding which classes to take from amazing Jo, wonderful Natasha and hysterical Heather, and so many more plus the other wonderful staff like Zoe and too many more to mention.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities indoor and out. Really nice swimming pool and there's plenty of parking, but it does get incredibly busy. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Lots of classes on offer too. Pay as You Go and monthly memberships available.

Fantastic experience: Very good! Friendly helpful staff. I recently celebrated my birthday with a few friends in the coffee pod! They all made it very enjoyable!
