Positive experience: Good venue for holding darts tournaments etc well organized and policed,prices for drink's etc reasonable

Fantastic experience: Went to watch the grandslam of darts semi final what a fantastic afternoon, great atmosphere and good service.

Positive experience: Great indoor and outdoor space, plenty of classes, cafe space inside, showers, lockers... In my opinion the gym should be a bigger space and a Zumba class would also be very welcome. Swimming pool is a thought for a near future...

Negative experience: Premesis and local area not fit to host a darts tournament with 1000+ spectators. Stick to Badminton

Negative experience: I had a reservation for badminton at 8:00 p.m. When I arrived, there was an event taking place and I was not notified of this change. I had traveled a significant distance to attend this booking and was inconvenienced by the lack of communication. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment or recommending it to others.

Disappointing to not see more of the community taking advantage of the great resource...The staff are very helpful and my grandson had a great time (He did the Rounders club) with two of the coaches... It was only him but they made him feel so special ....I was very impressed with their approach..Thank you guys!... A lovely place and plenty of car parking space...

Negative experience: I recently had a disappointing experience at WV active gym in Aldersley, Wolverhampton. I would like to share my feedback specifically regarding the gym staff and management. I found the staff to be arrogant and lacking in service skills, making the overall experience unhelpful and unpleasant. I was particularly disappointed with the receptionist, Steph, who provided misleading information. When I brought my concerns to the manager, Richard, the situation only worsened. Despite my complaint about the denial of youth entrance, the manager did not seem bothered to listen and solely relied on the receptionist's opinion. He even went so far as to lie about the gym having reached its maximum capacity for youths during the session. However, upon further observation, I noticed that there were no youths present in the gym, making the manager's claim appear completely false. I find this discriminatory and demotivating to the young generation. Overall, my experience at WV active gym was frustrating and unfair.

Positive experience: Excellent gym and sports hall, great classes but you have to book early!! No pool sadly, but good value as you can use Bilston and central gyms with pools on the same membership.

Fantastic experience: Great venue and courts for Pickleball. Plenty of space between courts and each block of 3 courts separated by panels.

Fantastic experience: A very sporty environment, the kids love the track field, the lawns are clean and well trimmed. The spectator sitting area is well spaced and allows for non touching with your sitting neighbour. I do love to come another day and explore the other part of Aldersley., it's so worthwhile.

Positive experience: Played badminton and enjoyed how quick & easy it was to be on the court..

Positive experience: Can get very busy but good selection of machines and free weights. Does not seem to be any gym instructors in the gym anymore so if you need advice you won't have anyone to ask. Went tonight and still no gym instructor in the gym and then add in loads of people standing around doing nothing except exercising their mouths, blocking the weights and machines. If you can afford it I would go else were.

Fantastic experience: We had my sons football parry here today, hired the astro turf and the function room. It was wonderful so impressed the staff were extremely helpful and polite, facilities were great! Highly recommend and will be coming back to use. Thank you again for making a special day!

Fantastic experience: Well look, I only come here for the Alumwell Wargaming Show, but it's a good place, has its own Costa. Car park is a decent size. Facilities seem clean and well kept.

Negative experience: New building very nice. The place across from carpark 2 very different story. Very old and tired. Toilets need refurbishment. Went for a workshop session. Classroom cum coffee room not fit for purpose. Facilities poor at best. Delivery of workshop by Trevor reasonable. Very disappointed that the NSRA is letting the Midlands down. Maybe they should apply for some leveling up money from central government.

Fantastic experience: It seems wv active Aldersley sports arena is one of the best venues for organizing international professional competitions in various disciplines.. Stupendous

Positive experience: There are too many kids in the main gym. Always dusty. Never any staff available. Should have more mat area to do own workout. I love the equipment and music!! Referb looks good.

Fantastic experience: What a ridiculously awesome sports hall. Wolverhampton is very lucky to have this place.

Positive experience: Gym instructors do cater to all needs. There used to be a lot of classes on at more reasonable times for people working a 8 to 6 though, and a lot more choice of instructors. Was assured more were coming but less are now available again.

Positive experience: It's a bit sad that the coffee shop closes at 2 when the rest of the place is still active, especially when the one person behind the bar decides to take a phone call and leaves customers waiting. The reception is ok and equipment is always out ready. Sadly there seems no concern about the trip hazard curled mats can provide.

Positive experience: The pitches are well looked after. Really a great place for the kids to develop skills of the game.

Fantastic experience: I came here after winning tickets for the Grand Slam of Darts a few weeks ago Imagine decent sized venues about 2.1/2 miles away from the city centre and railway and bus stations so public transport is a must for getting here

Fantastic experience: I went with my dad to watch the grand slam of darts it's was a fantastic night our help.to find our seats where spot on and we had a fantastic view of the stage where the darters were playing the service for the food and drinks where we'll organised and u did have long to wait we were into.the venue without a 5 minutes overall experience fantastic night will definitely go again nxt time the are darts are on

Fantastic experience: Went to Brazilian jujitsu competition here today. Nice and clean. Staff helpful. Thank you to the cleaning lady who was very helpful. Couldn't hear the tannoy at all. Too muffled. But everything else was good.

Negative experience: Went to see selection for handball team. Viewing is completely inadequate when they finally opened refreshments one person serving. Over 200 people in attendance. Missed grandsons play as waiting in queue. Not good enough at all.

Positive experience: Attended a charity football tournament for mental health - it was held at the indoor dome and it was extremely HOT inside. great little tournament though. the main building, i only went as far as the toilet - which was clean, but they had a nice little cafe at the entrance.

Fantastic experience: Visited purely for a COVID vaccination. Plenty of easily accessible parking, and spacious inside for dealing with a large volume of people attending and queueing for vaccinations. If available, I would recommend and choose this venue for vaccinations.

Negative experience: Terribly slow service at coffee counter during interval. Not allowed to wear football shirts but not told when purchasing ticket. Car parking prices just ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Great facility for the Duelbits Snooker Championships.Ticked all the boxes,superb view,good quick drinks bar and food outlets if you want it.A bit of queue for the toilets but heh hoh no bother.

Positive experience: Went to ask about joining the gym the darts were on, the man at the door I think he was security was rude, cap on like American, didn't look like security at all. Put me off wanting to go in.

The NHCS guy was kind enough to even prepare me with some "homework" on how to help my wife heal her shoulder quicker. While being extreeeemly polite to the point that I did not know how to talk to him

Fantastic experience: Super venue for the Midlands Masters Vetts association table tennis event, had a great weekend, huge hall ( 37 tables ) polite and helpful staff on reception and in the cafeteria, 10 out of 10, can't wait for my next visit.

Positive experience: I attended my first jab at Telford football club where people took all details before you went forward for jab. 10 times more efficient than Aldersley.

Positive experience: The gym is ok. It has enough to get a workout done I guess. Quite a lot of the equipment needs fixing/updating. Would like to see a wider variety of equipment and weight machines. Also tried to watch tv whilst working out but the machines couldn't get reception. It's a big building, it's a shame they don't make use of it and make the gym bigger. Staff are very helpful and friendly though. I haven't used the outdoor track yet but looking forward to it at some point.
