Negative experience: Staff criminal damaged my lock. Stole my juggling clubs. Then made me PAY for a new lock. They also won't give me the spa code after booking so I can't access the gym or spa they damage your stuff then rob you then won't let you use the facility

Not only was it frustrating to arrive only to discover that you were closed, but it also wasted my time and effort. Negative experience: Really long queues at swimming pool slides, so you can’t get that many rides which made it even more boring. They don’t have many slides and slides are not very exciting like at some other water parks such as Splashdown and Sandcastle Blackpool. So it’s not that exciting and a bit boring even if there wasn’t queues.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and facilities, something for everyone

Positive experience: Swimming prices are very high considering it is not that big. They won't let you go down the slide with your kid. So if your kid is tall enough but can't swim, they can't use the slide. The Swansea residents rate reduces prices for adults but not children, so they end up costing more than the adults! £21 for 2 adults and a kid with resident rates is ridiculous. Also the soft play seating area is narrow and awkward.

Fantastic experience: Visiting Swansea from Newcastle, I spent a fabulous week visiting the leisure centre. A very warm welcome indeed, excellent classes with great teachers, lovely cafe, amazing facial and great spa! A huge thank you to all staff who were friendly, helpful and professional.

Positive experience: We exhibited at a model railway show. The hall was everything we wanted except for limited access to load and unload. The leisure centre looked great.

Fantastic experience: A fun few hours frolicking in the pool. We had a great time on all the water slides and playing in the wave pool and rapids. The changing rooms are big with plenty of cubicles. The pool temperature is cooler than expected. The cafe looks good with a nice choice of food and drink.

Negative experience: Visited yesterday it was awful .. crammed in like sardines. The changing rooms are dreadful lockers don't work & too small cubicle doors don't lock. The staff looked stressed & fed up. The place needs a revamp. Not going back again.

Positive experience: Adorable and fun, losds of different activities here not just swimming. Unfortunately the swimming changing rooms are mixed. The slide here is acc so fun to go on defo recommend. Closes at 7 pm @ AfterHoursCupping

Positive experience: 2 (fairly naff) slides, a tube ring coaster that you'll be lucky to ride once in your 90 mins slot and an extremely lazy river. Not great really! On the plus side, the changing and shower facilities are quite good and the lifeguards are helpful and plentiful but we all had more fun (despite the chill!) swimming in Oxwich Bay and unless you have very young children, I'd suggest you do likewise.

Fantastic experience: Convinced this is the best waterpark in the UK..or at least best I've been to. My daughter and I just had our 2nd visit about 5 years apart and it's still load of fun,well ran by the staff and clean. Excellent!

Negative experience: Don't bother ringing them for information, because the staff deliberately pick up the phone so you can quickly hear people in the background, then hang up on you. Fantastic service. NOT!

Fantastic experience: Booked this as part of a random day out with my nephew, what a great pick. Could easily spend the day here between softplay area and the water park. Would definitely no park the the multi storey next, go across the road to St Davies car park is so much cheaper

Positive experience: Visited yesterday with my son, overall good experience. Four stars because the lifeguards were on a bit of a power trip and quite aggressive with the whistles. I'm all for public safety but pacing back and fore with the whistle hanging out of your mouth looking for a kid to target was a bit much. They're on string for a reason, you don't need to keep it in your mouth when not in use (refer to instructions if unsure). Bit overcrowded in the pool, and the toilets stunk. Wave machine and lazy river were fun.

Negative experience: A monthly rolling contract for the gym where payments taken less than three weeks into the month so it's not really a rolling monthly contract is it? I'm not paying £30 for three weeks are you mental? Will never be back here again, a month is four weeks not three sorry, it's four in other gyms

Fantastic experience: Swimming pool is fantastic. Kids and adults reallt enjoy it. We have been on holiday to south Wales for 2 years in a row and both times have visited twice in a week. Reallt helpful and friendly staff too.

Positive experience: Unable to comment on all of the facilities. Just go there for children's soft play area which is very good (during school hours). Adequate cafe for tea / coffee and basic snacks. Extortionate parking charge in neighbouring Arena car park. Find somewhere else to park!

Negative experience: My kids had a great time, although my youngest turned blue from the cold. It seems either they're cutting costs by not heating the toddler pool or the heater isn't working. The water was ice-cold, which is particularly concerning since this pool is meant for babies. Heating it should be a priority. Additionally, many of the lockers are broken and need fixing. Aside from these issues, the kids enjoyed themselves, but the long queues were a downside. Don't forget to factor in the cost of parking, which was £6. Personally, parking should be free or subsidised if you're using the pool.

Negative experience: I really would not recommend going to this swimming , the water was absolutely freezing cold my daughter lips went blue due to the temperature and we had to leave after 20mins due to us all being so cold. I then spoke to the swimming pool team and got a terrible response and they were not helpful at all and just sounded like they didn’t want to sort the issue out. Save your pennies

Positive experience: Love the LC2 always go swimming here have about 3 slides, do have cues a lot but never too long. Also has a wave pool that comes on every 20/30 minutes and a lazy river too. There a hot tub/jacuzzi which you can use also and a surf machine for an extra £5 booked separately that you can go on. Also has a cafe where you can get a bite and some coffee etc, a gym and climbing wall all able to be booked, think it also has a kids play gym. Overall great value for money and a good couple of hours out in Swansea centre close enough to other places too!

Negative experience: Safeguarding issues for children check social media and local news staff need further training and by the looks of things common sense last time I ever take my child there. BEWARE!

Fantastic experience: We come here every school holiday. The chutes are brilliant (bit of a queue). We love the lazy river. And the atmosphere during the wave machine countdown makes it feel like we're on holiday. Water was lovely and warm. Lots of parking nearby (can be expensive for the day).

Fantastic experience: Came to the LC2 to attend the Swansea Comic Con. It was well laid out with plenty of space to walk around, but it did seem smaller than the previous year. It was a nice atmosphere and great turn out for the event itself. The leisure centre seemed busy with its own guests attending the pool and other facilities. From the outside the pool are look great fun with its slides and there is a Costa and play area for young ones as you enter. The reception staff were polite and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Additional lifeguards onsite and in the pool providing assistance and safety when needed. A quiet Sunday afternoon visit with full access to all flumes but still no sign of the surf area being fixed or altered. **update 02/11/2024** 1 adult and 2 children was processed incorrectly when turning up without pre booking, when speaking to the staff at the tills, let's just say the interaction was not pleasant and you could have thought i had just spat at them. No refund given, apology or form of rectification. Just take your money is how it felt.

Positive experience: Swim area really good just a shame the surf area is out of action. Soft play decent. But £3 for a piece cake no bigger than the palm of your hand is a joke

Negative experience: Visited a week ago as a family trip the facilities and staff are good however the main issue is how cold the pool is had to leave very early with our 6 year old shivering and lips blue looking around other children were also very cold really disappointing

When a slide was closed they left the people in the queue standing there for twenty minutes without explaining what was happening. There were staff there - they just didn’t bother to talk to the people in the queue. We got out early - as did several others due to the water temperature

Fantastic experience: This was a fantastic venue for swimming, with a large entrance area that staff checked me in promptly at! Twisting slides are included and one where you are seated that goes on an up and down journey, hot tub is epic too. Waves machine brings excitement and lazy river was fun, not getting too dragged away!

Positive experience: We loved the swim had lots of fun in slides had a real laugh my 2 daughters and myself BUT we felt very dirty the walls greasy and could see the band of dirt all way round the pool I just couldn’t wait to get in the showers other than that it was great if the pool walls could get a clean would have rated full 5 otherwise ☺️

Fantastic experience: Well haven't been here in 35 years. Absolutely brilliant. Busy half term day but that was to be expected. Staff at poolside were brilliant. Not afraid to enforce where young lads were messing about. Great to see strictness at all times. Will defo be back.

Positive experience: Visited for the soft play. Lovely soft play, plenty for the kids to do, my only gripe would be that you only get an hour. It should be an hour and a half in my opinion, most other soft plays are. The hour goes so quick, once you've gotten a seat, taken shoes off etc. Will definitely come back, but an increase in session time would be better.

Fantastic experience: Spa facilities great, and Hannah who does the treatments is excellent. Shame swimming pool not available at all times overall clean and well maintained. Every staff member helpful, polite and friendly. Easy to locate but they could advertise better externally and also at the centre itself so you can. Know more about what you can do there and how much it will cost to do things.

Fantastic experience: Spoke to a gentleman on reception who couldn't have been more helpful. He got my son's swimming lessons setup in no time. Amazing difference to the horrible woman I spoke to at the National pool who couldn't have been more obtuse and unhelpful. Thank You, my son can't wait to start tomorrow!

Negative experience: The spa has gone right down hill been going for years but the last 3 times over a space of 2 months and things still not fixed. Steam room stunk of sewage. Sauna bench too high so uncomfortable. Aromatherapy room freezing. Jacuzzi freezing. Water fountain broke.

Positive experience: Great pool with my first ever waterslide that goes uphill! Climbing wall is stonking good value for the kids.

Fantastic experience: A lovely visit with our children and family to the soft play area. Convenient location with ground floor access for the soft play and café just across the entrance hall. Negative experience: The pool water is absolutely freezing and the changing rooms even colder. It says a lot when members of staff are at the pool side in jumpers. Everyone was huddled in the jacuzzi to try and get warm including the kids. Not good if you have babies

Positive experience: Lovely facilities let down by staff standing around when theres mess on tables, and people looking for assistance. Such a shame a good place is being letdown by being run like a typical council organisation.

Positive experience: My daughter's love coming here with the waves, and lots to do in the pool. Wish the water was a little warmer for my 1yr old as she does shiver coming out and the toddler pool is even colder brr...but would highly recommend

Negative experience: Be careful if you book aquatots! We took our 5 month old to the aquatots session, where it states online that the larger interactive features will be turned off. This however was untrue as my wife got absolutely drenched by the large bucket feature in the pool and it was lucky I moved with my daughter seconds before it happened. If I had been underneath it, it probably would have knocked my daughter out of my arms it was so powerful. When we tried to warm our daughter up with a shower afterwards, they were all absolutely freezing also. We spoke to a young lad at the desk who was lovely, but the manager that came out seemed like she couldn't care less and just said it's been like it for ages (nice for someone to give us a warning then).

Positive experience: Really enjoyed ourselves in pool and soft play. Cafe a little expensive. And they had a dance event on that was not very well organised, all the dancers were queuing in the cafe and reception area.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym. Wahay! I committed to a year too, so no excuse. The facilities are excellent. The gym is very well equipped with some hi tech equipment, and the classes are great too. To top it all, you can swim in the pool as part of the membership, as well as enjoy three hours free parking. A really good venue with lots to do.

Negative experience: Booked a massage and paid online, when I emailed to confirm booking they said they will charge £10 extra as my booking Was not on offer. Will not recommend

Positive experience: Not a bad entertainment center, but could be better. The staff is polite but not always professional. Innovations are not always warned and sometimes you find yourself facing the fact of certain circumstances. There are many little things that need to be improved.

Fantastic experience: Just held my son's 10th birthday party here, 18 kids, 5 adults swimming, lots of parents watching. All organised well by LC2. Thanks for a happy, memorable day.

Fantastic experience: Been twice to this fantastic establishment with my two young children. They absolutely love it. It's so easy to get to and use its facilities. It's very clean and plenty for all ages to do. Prices are very reasonable. Yet to try out the slide as my eldest still not tall enough believe the have to be 1.1m. Will defo go back again

Positive experience: Amazing indoor waterpark and pool!! I would personally say more intended for children aged 3-12 but fun for adulte with their children too!!

Negative experience: Rude staff, queues, Dirty changing rooms, super expensive.....pool is like a sardine tin, youths alot to fight and swear (around the lazy river). I certainly won't be back.

Fantastic experience: Great pool and very accommodating for all ages in the family. Separate areas for little ones, slides, lazy river and a wave simulator every 20 minutes. It is one of the cleanest pools we visit.

Fantastic experience: Fun for kids of all ages. Kids do need to be 1.1 m to use the slides, but there are areas for the smaller ones to enjoy themselves too. Remember a pound coin to use the lockers, and pre book online.

Positive experience: Booked in for swimmimg at 2pm, accident on route caused us to arrive late so for 50 quid we got 45 mins swimming, payment non refundable and the lady at the desk said dont worry ill sort it out but clearly didnt so 4 kids were a bit disappointed. We will go back at some point but we will be looking for other options.

Positive experience: We were here for the waterslides. It was VERY busy and wait times were a bit too long. I understand it was summer holiday, but they really should cut down the amount of people going in.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t take lots of pictures as much as I wanted to because it’s not allowed which is understandable. It’s a water park and also has other area where kids can play. I had an awesome experience here, I booked online a day before which cost 8:80 GBP for adults. Each session lasts for 1hr 45 mins. It has a lovely pool that gives waves like a real beach and water tubes. It’s my first time participating in such and it’s so lovely. There’s a changing room and a locker where you can keep your belongings safe. Children will definitely have fun too. There’s an area where you can buy snacks and drinks. I recommend!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Visited today with a group of disabled young people. We waited over an hour for food. When we asked where the food was the first time we were told "5 minutes" 45 minutes later were received 1 meal! When I approached the catering staff the smirked, apologised grudgingly and informed me there was only 1 person cooking the food. (Putting it in the microwave!) Another family had also been waiting over an hour for their food. When I asked for a refund I was told they don,t do them so asked to speak to a manager. Disinterested, couldn,t care less. Gave me a refund and said maybe it would be a good idea to let people know there was a delay with food!!! ( Following the same suggestion from both myself and the other family waiting for their food) I am a type 1 diabetic who took my insulin because my food order was in. Ended up with no food and very low blood sugar. No interest from the catering staff who smirked and rolled their eyes!

Fantastic experience: Great family venue, where activities such as; swimming, gymn' work and climbing can be enjoyed. We took visitors to the area there, for the swimming and splash pool area. Although busy, the booking system allows for around 1 1/2 hrs of playtime. You are well advised to book in advance, online. The booking experience is quite easy to navigate, using a smartphone, which also becomes your 'e ticket'. Prices are reasonable and some concessions are available, all explained to you, as you read through. The splashdown area is nicely sized, with waves and slides to enjoy and enough space to do a little swimming, although most of the customers are there to splash and slide. Spectators can observe from ground level or from above, free of charge. I found the ground level area to be much more comfortable, as the top floor area is not separated, therefore gets quite humid and warm. The ground floor has several tables, chairs and bar stools, with a glass wall, to observe the family having fun in the water. There is also a decent cafe, along with the obligatory vending machines, which take card or cash. The cafe serves pretty good snacks and treats, as well as coffee, tea and cold drinks. All of the staff are pleasant, polite and well informed, able to explain the system and give directions where needed. The ticket dest also has an area for purchasing swimming accessories such as; goggles, armbands and floats. Car parking is easiest at the two multi storey parks closeby, one opposite the LC2 and the other, beneath the Swansea Arena. These car parks are 3 to 5 minutes walk from the LC2, there is street parking in the area, but you'll be very fortunate to find a space and time there is limited.

Fantastic experience: Wow, Logan on the soft play was an absolute God send. Never before have I seen a staff member so engaging with the children, from talking to my 5 year old about her future career as a medic to playing with my 2 year old in the ball pit to distract her from having hurt herself. He worked his backside off and made it look effortless. The facilities themselves are cracking and priced really well. Best designed soft play I've been to. The pools were fantastic, although the surf area was out of action, the changing rooms freezing and the disabled parking a joke. Still gets a solid 5 stars, a gem of a place that I wish we were locals of.

Positive experience: Went on a busy weekend with the family and we had an enjoyable time - there's three water slides (one using a donut ring), a wave machine, a small circular lazy river and other pools. It wasn't cheap - £33.30 for two adults and two small children - and £6 for parking next door, so it loses a star. The parking at the International Pool in Cardiff is free.

Fantastic experience: Grandkids wanted to do the climbing wall and swimming. They loved every minute of it. Very friendly sociable community pool. We booked on a rainy day and glad we did.

Positive experience: Mixed reviews about lc2, the soft play is great probably my favourite in the area and some of the staff are great. However today upon visiting the pool with my partner and daughter the young girl on the desk wasn’t very professional or attentive. After she charged us we realised she didn’t give us the resident discount after mentioning this she just froze and didn’t offer to change this so we left it. The reception was incredibly busy and we were told the next swim session wasn’t for another 45 minutes however other customers were paying and going straight in so eventually we did the same and there were no staff policing this so why were we told this?. The changing rooms need a good clean and uplift and are incredibly cold when you exit the pool. It’s also concerning that anyone can enter the changing rooms you should require a pin to gain entry!! The lifeguards are very young and seem clueless and are too busy chatting away, none are watching the children’s pool next to the main pool meaning you are unable to leave your young child freely walk in the pool due to rough ness of the children using the slide (headfirst, backwards etc.) Better management required!!

Fantastic experience: Lovely place, so much to do, doesn't feel packed even with lots of people. Has waterpark and soft play as well

Positive experience: Wave runner has never worked even though on the leaflet it specifically says 'the surf's always up at the LC!', the locker rooms are dirty and cramped, but other than that quite good and fun. Great slides, wave machine is quite fun, lazy river is relaxing with a nice Jacuzzi in the middle, and a lovely warm hot tub. (although going back into the pool from hot tub is quite cold!) Would recommend for people who don't mind dirty cramped places and weren't thinking of going on the wave runner. Would NOT reccomend for people with claustrophobia, people who don't like dirty places (like my daughter) or people who wanted to try surfing. Just go to the beach on a day with lots of good waves and bring a surfboard!
