Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a wonderful time. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the staff in the brasserie especially, were very attentive, making our stay extra special. I must say the food was excellent. We enjoyed a swim, though being half term, it was rather busy, the sauna was most relaxing. Our room, was cosy, very clean, though a bit dated. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoy walking, we couldn't find any walking trails! Great if you play golf. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Fantastic experience: The afternoon tea here was wonderful! We stayed overnight and the room was nice and cosy! Had a lovely massage in the morning after, it has been a great weekend!

Fantastic experience: I booked the "Girls' Night In Spa Break," and what a gem of a hotel it is! The staff are excellent; the gentleman and lady at reception on Friday were very warm and welcoming. The room was clean, stylish, cozy, and comfortable. The only tweak I would make is there was no bottles of water provided. We had dinner in the Brasserie, where the staff were incredible, helpful, and accommodating. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were tasty and well-crafted. On Saturday morning, we enjoyed breakfast in the Brasserie. Once again, the staff were lovely. There was a selection of continental items, cereals, fruits, and juices, with hot food available to order. The tea and coffee were good as well—a great overall selection! We also enjoyed a sauna, steam, and swim. Only minor issue was a lot of the lockers locking mechanisms were not working and the showers were not very powerful. Next, we went to the Spa for a fabulous treatment. The ladies thoroughly explained the treatments and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We finished our stay with a beautiful autumn afternoon tea, which was incredible! The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Brilliant value! I highly recommend this hotel and spa! I can't wait to return ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: I spent a very pleasant two nights at Barnham Broom. All the staff were very helpful and courteous, making my stay very relaxing. The golf courses looked to be well maintained and in good condition

Positive experience: Our stay at Barnham Broom was fine. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and the Edge Health and Fitness club is a great facility. On the downside, we were without hot water in our wing for 24+ hours. And, as has been mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is a little 'tired' and the lack of walk-in showers was disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who likes great service and extremely friendly, helpful staff. Stayed for two nights on a golfing break and cannot praise Barnham broom enough. Food was excellent with a great choice on the menu. Rooms were clean and had everything needed, including great coffee. Golf courses were in great shape and challenging.

Positive experience: The room was clean and serviced well, the food was good and well cooked. The service on the whole was attentive and reasonably quick. The golf courses were in good condition although the Valley course is very tight c as nd golfer need to learn to shout ‘fore’ if in doubt. Two free drinks per person in our group (you are having a laugh) can’t have a Guinness, bottled coke, proper real ale, spirits, WHAT A BLOODYJOKE.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely perfect stay for our daughters wedding, staff were marvellous especially the gentleman in the red coat (master of ceremonies) loved the little toast he made to our daughter and her new husband, food was delicious, we will be looking to stay again next year for our 39th anniversary as a special treat Thank you for helping to make the day extra special

Fantastic experience: Course is great apart from tee boxes that are so uneven. Rooms are good, bar is open until you go to bed and takes cash unlike some other course bars. Food was good but needed to be a bit more on the plate. Had a great time

Positive experience: We signed up to a 'Stay and Play' type package. We played both courses and the Valley courses was challenging and in really good condition. The Hill course unfortunately was not in such good condition. The majority of the fairways were brown, hard and lumpy. It was almost impossible to use a plastic tee as the ground was so hard. Some of the greens on this course were also a little 'ropey'. The accommodation was comfortable and the quality of the food good. The staff in all parts of the complex we helpful and accommodating. We didn't have time unfortunately to make use of the other facilities but they too looked good.

Positive experience: Lovely surroundings outside and beautifully modern inside. Staff attentive and happy. The food was second to none. I must have lost touch with hotel bar prices though - 2 x gin & tonic, 1 x vodka & tonic plus a coke cost £28 something. That didn't encourage me back to the bar.

Positive experience: Rooms clean however quite dark. The hall very dark and outdated, light colours would make a huge difference. Good but small swimming pool. Food good but top end of price range with a very nice personel.

Positive experience: Played with 3 mates just for 1 round, nice course and pretty good practice facilities, grass driving range which was a nice touch. Course in pretty good condition for August and some holes had spectacular views! The 1st cut of rough was a little long so we lost a few balls where it had just rolled off the fairway which was pretty annoying! But overall a pretty nice place

Fantastic experience: We recently had a round of golf on the hillside course which was in fantastic condition.

Negative experience: This is not a up market golf facility as it advertises itself. It is of the quality of the local public courses which are half the price. Upon arrival the staff are polite but not friendly. The ball machine for the range is broken but just working. The driving range is up a big hill and therefore the distances are all off. The range balls were absolutely filthy and about 5% had chunks missing. At the price they charge for membership or a round of golf and the way the advertise you would expect a nice round of golf with space between tee times, however the entire time I was there there were multiple groups waiting on the first tee going off as soon as they could, again no different to a public course and not what is expected from an up market club. And to top it off they don't even take amex. It will take a lots of changes to make this a high quality club. The practice green was good condition and large, if a bit busy due to the amount of people teeing off so closely.

Negative experience: The hotel room was alright, yellow lights in the room. The style of the room is like an old 1980s no modern about it if you lile that type there was also a smell of musty, the toilet seat had spray of dry urine, and the lighting was quite dark. The restaurant food was great, like fish trout, salmon fish, and ice cream, but seems limited to vegetarian that I could the restaurant was packed of people table had bits food in the table and wasnt clean the food was expensive and was tasty. the gentleman and lady were very friendly but they didn't come to my table they came after a long time and hoovered around big groups to get tips laughing was was ok but was bit embarrassing when they followed each other and kept going and saying we here for tips and kept emphasising on it loudly. The location wasnt in a good place the hotel was in middle of nowhere, and there's was like one way road where you have to pull to one side as its a small village and over grown brushes 6ft plus high around corners very dangerous not the hotel fault as it on the village/farm type of road dangerous as there's blind spots. Didn't find a confronts place to sit other then in the hotel room was very cold the heating didn't work when its dark and gray there nothing much you can do other then play golf or go to the gym as its flat not much of a view. I won't be going there again, but it is up to you to see, and the view in the picture looks nice.

Fantastic experience: Stayed for a Golf and Spa weekend with some friends. Very expensive, but almost worth it. Staff are lovely, room was perfect, food was spot on.

Fantastic experience: Two great golf courses, excellent food and all the staff were friendly. We went as a group of 6 golfers for a 2 night stay and two rounds of golf. Brilliant value for money and for just £7.50 pp we could enjoy the spa and gym facilities for our entire stay. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: We came here today for a spa day for birthday. The massage was absolutely amazing, they gave me a little present to takeaway, the afternoon tea was impeccable. The staff were fabulous and so friendly. The only downside was the pool as their was no door to fresh air and it was very old and dated. The showers were cold and had to press the button every 5 seconds. Apart from the pool everything else was perfect. Thankyou to the wonderful staff

Fantastic experience: As a group none of us could fault Barnham Broom both as a hotel to stay in and the golf. The staff were efficient friendly and proffesional. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Food was excellent both breakfast and evening meal. The golf courses were very well maintained and a pleasure to play. Well done Barnham Broom

Fantastic experience: I had a bespoke wedding at Barnham Broom and I can not thank Clare in events more than enough. She was so helpful and guided us through to make our perfect day, she is an asset in the business. I would also like to thank (I think this is her name) Chantelle in events, we only met the last 48 hours but she was absolutely incredible and so helpful and deserves recognition. I would recommend for anyone who is looking to get married!

Positive experience: Weekend Golfing Break with our Society, generally pre visit communications were addressed in a speedy manner but did have some issues with responses from the Golf Shop both with e mails and voice messages, however during our stay we found all the staff within the golf shop to be super helpful. Check In was well organised for our group, and the room although a bit small was very functional for a short break with comfortable beds and pillows, no complaints. The course and practice facilities for both courses were very good, only complaint was a few of the tee off boxes were shabby and could do with more maintenance, the Valley Course is definitely more challenging than the Hill Course. Unfortunately on both days there was no sign of a cart offering on course drinks/snacks. We pre-ordered our three courses and this assisted the large group of 16 catering. The food was good and received positive feedback from the guests of our group. Bar food for lunch was expensive but generally delicious. Cocktails were not very generous in size, and the volume of the background music was not audible, staff were asked if the volume could be increased to no avail. Decent selection of beers in the Sports Bar and again helpful staff. Be warned that if you wish to visit the Spa or Pool you will be charged £7.50, this facility is not included for guests, this proved to be a big negative to a number of our party. I would certainly recommend a weekend break to this resort, with a few minor tweaks it would earn a 5* rating rather than a well deserved 4*

Negative experience: The hotel in general is nice but everything else is over priced and poor. I booked for £170 for 1 night and I expected something special. Gym and pool were extra, and the breakfast was extra. When I reluctantly paid extra for the gym it wasn't worth it. Went to the bar for food and it was highly priced but wetherpsoons were better quality. I had to call room service and it took me 20 minutes to get through. I stay at 3 hotels a week all over the UK for the last 10 years and I have to say, for the cost this hotel is in the bottom 3 I have ever stayed in.

Fantastic experience: HPB up to its usual high standard. Golf and Spa on site but you need a car. anything else is a fair drive.

Fantastic experience: Returned to Barnham Broom for a second experience day to celebrate a family birthday as the first one was so wonderful. The spa experience was, again, amazing with all of the staff making you feel so welcome and comfortable. Followed this up with the afternoon tea in the brasserie with excellent service from Ryan - nothing is too much trouble and he really makes you feel special on your special day. We were so well looked after that all we had to do was enjoy the whole experience. We're already looking forward to the next time we visit.

Fantastic experience: Played golf on Saturday 18th,unfortunately I left my wallet on the table after bacon roll and coffee..On returning after a round of golf I realised I hadn’t got my wallet,reported this to the bar staff and in less than a minute I was reunited with my Wallet.The honesty of the staff is commendable and I thank them.Also the course was very well well kept with unpredictable greens.Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful day.

Fantastic experience: Another enjoyable golf break at Barnham Broom We have had a 3 day break every year for 20 years now at BB, the same week, and yet again, highly enjoyable. Given the terrible weather in recent months, the hill course was in great condition, understandably the valley was closed to buggies. Sheila and Sharon on reception made us most welcome, indeed the whole team are attentive, professional and friendly. The restaurant food standards remain high and does the service. Not surprisingly, we will return in 2025.

Negative experience: Maybe my disappointment stems from being spoiled by an array of fantastic Afternoon Tea experiences, but I have to say that Barnham Broom really missed the mark. I understand that not every Afternoon Tea venue is the same, but the experience felt almost like an ‘extra service - that instead of sticking to their strength of being a Spa and Golf course, Barnham Broom just decided to add on Afternoon Tea for the sake of it/without any focus on the quality offered. For a start the tea is ‘capped’ at two pots, anything beyond that you pay for, the same goes with the sandwiches and cakes which are charged per item. Part of the appeal of Afternoon Tea is the bottomless nature of it, so it definitely put a damper on the experience. The view was also lacklustre, although nestled on a golf course, the room is situated in an awkward position not allowing you a view of the green. I struggle to find great Afternoon Tea places in Norwich, but I do know that this is one I’d definitely not recommend. It just felt like instead of it being a fully rounded experience of Afternoon Tea, it was a mediocre offering simply to say that they do it and offer the bare minimum.

Positive experience: Afternoon tea and use of the facilities. £48 each. We had a wonderful day at Barnham Broom, what really made it was how absolutely friendly every single member of staff were. I probably wouldn't have the afternoon tea again, I think on its own it is £26 and it was nothing special, it needed a little more greenery. I cannot fault the service and would definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: Another excellent stay. We dined in the Brasserie on both evenings. We’d particularly congratulate the kitchen and waiting staff who provided excellent food and service on one of their busiest nights- and a particular thank you to Lilly who greeted us warmly, and provided a friendly, confident and attentive service throughout. What an asset! Looking forward to a future visit.

Negative experience: Hotel is clean and tidy, golf is average, food is good. Big problem is the bar prices though, beer is 7 quid a pint, double G and T is 13 quid and the cheapest bottle of wine is 29 quid. To add insult to injury they add a 10% service charge to all drinks, never come across that even in London, it's only Norwich for god's sake!! Shame on you Barnham Broom.

Fantastic experience: The perfect wedding venue! We had our Wedding at Barnham Broom in the Barford Suite, everything was perfect. Our dedicated wedding coordinator Clare always went above and beyond to help prepare us for the day. All communications and Clare’s attention for detail was amazing. Onto the events space, it’s idyllic! The Barford Suite is really versatile, being used for the ceremony with a partition and then opened up ready for the reception and then evening entertainment. The lawn outside the Barford Suite overlooking the ranges was a perfect location for our group and guest photos. Food - exceptional. Our wedding breakfast, food in the brasserie and the breakfast all very tasty and presented very well. All staff at the hotel (catering, reception etc.) were so friendly and helpful! Rooms maintained to a high quality - the Hill Suite as the bridal suite was excellent (though a high hook for wedding dress in there may have been the only improvement we can think of!) Overall we cannot thank the team at Barnham Broom enough. Clare in particular did a wonderful job to make it such a perfect day for us.

Positive experience: Had a spontaneous visit for the bank holiday weekend. Could not fault the service, everyone was very attentive. Rooms and bathroom were quite dated but the bed was so comfy. The dinner was fantastic along with great service really made the night. The sports bar next to the restaurant has a pool table which is good fun. The spa is all extra cost, and the pictures of the pool are actually for the fitness centre which is also extra cost. The pool was not heated so we didn’t spend long there and the changing rooms were very dated. Overall great price for what you get, but does need a refresher.

Fantastic experience: We were really impressed from the minute we arrived to the hotel. I have to say that all the staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Our room was ready early, which was great as we arrived early for our treatments. We requested an ice bucket and glasses for the room and this was organised with no issues. The food was incredible!! Afternoon tea and dinner way exceeded my expectations and again the bar staff and restaurant staff were excellent. Throughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be returning. Thank you.

Positive experience: 2 night weekend stay with breakfast, dinner and leisure use. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The leisure facilities were busy at the weekend as expected but quieter and more enjoyable on Monday. My partner had an enjoyable facial in the spa and they were great at tailoring it to her skin concerns. We found the prices were on the higher side, especially for the rural area. Same for the food in the sports bar, we had 2 drinks, a salad, sandwich and a scone which came to £45! The highlight of the weekend was the customer service in the restaurant, particularly by Ryan and Lily. Ryan had such a way with customers. He clearly has an extremely successful future in hospitality ahead of him.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I spent a night at Barnham Broom last Saturday. We had the most amazing time. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic and the meal at the restaurant in the evening was first class. Special mention to Ryan who made us feel incredibly welcome at dinner. Breakfast was great too, will definitely be returning.

Negative experience: I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. I booked a belated valentine’s gift for partner and couldn’t even book a table despite only 10% of the room being full. Told there would be a 40 minute wait for chips. AFTER complaining, and saying we’d leave there was conveniently a table by which time too late. Staff were RUDE, condescending and unprofessional. I will never come back to this place again and I DO NOT recommend. Disgraceful.

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite place to go to relax after a hard day behind the microphone at Radio Norwich. I often invite my business partners here for drinks in the bar and the no-denim poliocy ensures the riff-raff are kept out. The facilities are excellent and the conference rooms big enough to host all the sales representatives from Dante's of Reading.

Fantastic experience: Our group of 16 golfers were very happy with their break at Barnham Broom . The courses, accommodation and food were of a very high standard. The service was also excellent with everyone doing their best to make our stay a memorable one. Unfortunately our rooms were not ready after our golf, despite it being 5pm. Indeed if it was not for the first class action of Ryan, the restaurant manager, who looked after us as soon as he heard about it, and all evening, there would have been 16 very unhappy guests. Without his actions the nature of this review would certainly have been far less positive.

Fantastic experience: Hotel was very clean and professionally run food good only disappointment was although staying in the hotel for 2 nights additional payment on top of your booking fees to use the facilities ie, swimming pool sauna and gym all an extra cost !!!! Surely as a paying guest these should all be part of your stay and booking.

Negative experience: Can’t believe you can charge people that stay at your hotel £17 for a breakfast and to have a few nibbles and 1 alcoholic drink and a soft drink was the best part of £30. Also to pay to use your pool @£7 when you already pay for a room and stay and there’s service charge really

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently stayed over and enjoyed a three course meal in The Brasserie. On arrival, we headed straight to the sports bar where we enjoyed a well presented lunch and a couple of drinks in warmth and comfort. When we had finished, our room was ready. As usual, the room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Dinner was superb! The staff helpful and friendly. The food itself was excellent and very well presented. We had an excellent night's sleep and breakfast was again excellent. A wide selection of food available for breakfast, we both had the full English option and it was very good, just the right size! As returning customers, we have never had anything less than a lovely experience at Barnham and would never hesitate to return in the future.

Fantastic experience: I had a great overnight stay in a very comfortable room and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast in The Brasserie was top-notch! I highly recommend Barnham Broom for accommodation, food as well as their excellent venue facilities.

Positive experience: Stayed here after attending a party, we had family room as looking after grandchildren so mum and dad could party. Lovely setting, room was awesome. Front desk a little slow on checkin and easy to get lost in corridors but overall fantastic and would stay again

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner spent 2 nights here at the weekend and it was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. We had afternoon tea in the lounge when we arrived, it was all fresh, the coffee was lovely and it was a great atmosphere. We then checked into our room and I was so pleased when we walked in. We had a superior double the bed was huge and comfortable, the room had everything we needed and so much space. We both ate a cooked breakfast the following morning, service was quick and friendly, I had one minor problem which was very quickly resolved and handled very well. The full English was one of the nicest I've had. We then spent the day in the health club. We sat on a lunger by the pool where the window over looked the golf course and it was so relaxing. The sauna and steam rooms were great. We then went to the sports bar were we ordered some snacks and had a drink. I had a lovely cocktail by an open fire, with the football on the TV. Food and atmosphere was also lovely in here. We then went back to the hotel room where we relaxed for a while with the TV on, and got ready for our evening meal in the brasserie restaurant. This restaurant absolutely did not disappoint. We had a lovely bottle of champagne. Me and my partner both couldn't decide between the beef and chicken dishes so we ordered both and shared and I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful this food was. It was then followed by the nicest sticky toffee pudding I have ever had. Again, the atmosphere was lovely and everything was absolutely perfect. I could not fault one thing over the entire weekend and I cannot recommend this place any more highly, I was so impressed and we will certainly be returning. Every member of staff we spoke to were lovely and friendly an went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone at Barnham Broom for such an incredible experience, was just what me and my partner needed.

Fantastic experience: I have attended a wedding in Barnham Broom and I must say that staff was very attentive and friendly. The prices in the bar were reasonable and the decor looked nice (especially the trees and faux snow in the side entrance. I haven't seen the rooms, so can't rate these.

Fantastic experience: I had the best time here over Christmas, and we stayed in a Hill Suite, which was stunning. The staff could not do enough for us. We also got engaged and as a thoughtful gesture the waitress gave us a lovely congratulations on a board for desert, they made us feel so special. I travel alot as I work in travel and must say have never known such amazing staff so friendly and happy. Thank you so much Carolyn and Roger

Positive experience: Very good service. I had a Spa overnight stay and was checked in as early as 12noon. I love most the fact that I could stay back to use the Health and Fitness facilities even after checking out. The massage was also soooo soothing. Giving a 4/5 because no iron and ironing board in the room. A very good service nonetheless with a fair price.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant spa day. Loved the massage with Abbie. Excellent service in spa and restaurant. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. Very relaxed. Pool was a bit too chilly to be relaxing but apart from that would highly recommend the spa days

Positive experience: We really enjoyed our visit ,a pre Christmas meet up with relatives . We found the public areas of the hotel to be very clean and comfortable and the staff a delight . Our room was well appointed, comfortable with nice linen and towels and clean . The food in the bistro where we enjoyed two dinners and two breakfasts was excellent with staff paying good attention to the special dietary requirements of one of pour party who has a severe food intolerance. We felt our short break via secret escapes was good value

Positive experience: Couple of nights with family who had a 2 bedroom apartment, so invited the wife and I to visit. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Spa is well served with most things you’d expect. Bar area is pleasant and bright with good selection of beers

Fantastic experience: Rooms were comfortable, well kept and clean. Tea and coffee available. We had the wedding breakfast buffet in the morning which had a variety of foods for everyone and the full English was lovely all hot and fresh well presented! The only thing I would say is I'm appreciative that alot of people might not bring young children with them but getting my buggy up and down the stairs without a lift was difficult luckily I had family available to help. Apart from that I was happy with my stay.

Fantastic experience: An excellent stay. Never explored this part of the country and a stay at Barnham Broom for 3 nights was an ideal centre to get into Norwich via a nearby park and ride (superb service) and also a trip north to the coast and towns. The hotel was ideal being clean and tidy and front desk very professional and helpful. Rooms were slightly on the small side but very comfortable and well appointed. The room and also the corridors had a lovely smell. Food in the brasserie was outstanding as was the service especially Rowan at breakfast . And the bar a comfortable place to relax and unwind. Harry was both informative and entertaining. Both are real assets to the hotel team. Only one negative point. The path between reception and the rooms across the courtyard were lethal in the frost and we and others slipped several times and almost fell. This was reported twice to reception but no action was taken as apparently the only people to attend to it worked in the morning! Not a good response especially if someone was injured! Otherwise, we wholeheartedly recommend Barnham Broom and would love to return to explore this lovely area further.

Positive experience: Rooms are in a good standard but Wi-Fi is awful. Rooms at the end of the corridor do not have even private Wi-Fi so if you're planning to work from the room or enjoy watching favorite show - good luck. Food in the sport bar is good but waiting time could be improved 30-40 waiting time for Curry or burger it's a bit too long. Taking about steak be careful what you receiving - one day steak spot on and next day I would not call that steak.

Positive experience: We had a very enjoyable overnight stay. All the staff we had contact with were professional and friendly. Our dinner and breakfast were both tasty, nicely presented and very well cooked. We will definitely return.

Positive experience: The rooms were nice and spacious. Food was lovely and well presented. Scrambled eggs were nice with the smoked salmon. Full English was not so pleasant. Bar service was patchy

Fantastic experience: Wonderful for a Spa day. Fabulous afternoon tea. Did not stay in rooms so unable to comment on that but everything else was great.

Positive experience: Had a spa “day” here, really nice massage/ facial and afternoon tea but ended up leaving very early because of how cold the pool was, not enjoyable at all after such a relaxing start. Was ice cold so didn’t feel it was worth the overall cost unfortunately

Fantastic experience: Excellent and professional service from the point of initial booking, during our stay and through to our last day checking out. Will be back for sure same time next year which will now be our 5th consecutive year (COVID notwithstanding) since our first visit. The course was immaculate and well manicured. EVERY member of staff was courteous, helpful and assisted ALWAYS with a can do attitude and smile on their face. Genuinely can't find fault in anything. Was booked in for a Sunday/Monday golf package (fourball). Hotel was clean and rooms in great order. Terrace area for drinks with table service was a great place to spend the warm evenings. Sports bar for the big match on the Sunday was perfect. The restaurant food included as part of the package had plenty of choice with the option of supplements if you wanted something a little bit more fancy (not that its' needed). Overall, can't recommend the venue enough. Would be back more often if I lived that little bit closer. Am considering a 2 night stay next time as value for money all things considered is, in my opinion, fantastic. Mark, Colin, Ian and Neil (Sunday/Monday 3-4/9/23)

Fantastic experience: I've organised an overnight 36 hole, DB&B event for my Senior section at Barnham Broom for the last 2 years. Everything has run like clockwork! Sheila has been so much help and remained so even with a lot of last minute changes, drop outs and additions. The hotel rooms are lovely, the bar areas immaculate, and the staff are friendly and great fun. The Hill course is in great nick with some lovely holes and is a decent test for all. The highly rated Valley course is wonderful with some very challenging holes as much of our group found out... :) I heartily recommend the resort and the courses, top notch!

Positive experience: The staff are lovely, especially Ryan Gotts, we were made to feel very welcome and his happiness is infectious! We received a complimentary upgrade on our room which was lovely and the beds a very comfortable! The spa treatments we had were super relaxing (facials), the gym is well equipped but the actual spa in our opinion was a little underwhelming with it being quite small. All in all a good experience had by us both and would definitely return, even if it’s just for the outstanding service and the delicious food!

Fantastic experience: We came here for our best mates stagg do. Perfect combination of golf, food, drinks and entertainment. Place is well presented and very well kept. Staff addressed everyone with personal interaction regarding our meal times and food orders etc. would like to name a ‘Harry’ in particular, we were one of his first groups working at the place. he was nothing but proffesional, helpful and friendly. Went above and beyond for us lot. Highly recommend the place and huge appreciation to Harry.

Fantastic experience: Amazing start to finish from checking in to checking out we had a 5 star service. Dinner service was lovely and made it Evan more spectacular by the staff so helpful and kind would definitely be coming back.

Positive experience: Not a fan of the dark corridors, stairwells and carpet. Paintwork very chipped in places and being dark it shows. Still enjoyed our stay and food was good .

Fantastic experience: Lovely place to visit for a weekend break. The swimming pool was delightful, and the equipment in the gym, as well as other sporting activities available comprehensive. The room was a great size. Clean with lovely countryside views. We wanted to take advantage of the spa, but it was unfortunately fully booked, so book in advance. This hotel has lots to offer, and I highly recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: We started as a golf group for the Sunday evening but we stayed on an extra night for my 60th birthday. The standard of food for a set price menu was al thought was excellent, as well as breakfast the next morning. Service on the whole was a bit slow on the Sunday but everyone appreciates staffing is an issue with most places at present. However, on the Monday evening we had a wonderful dinner, the bavette steak was gorgeous and couldn't believe it was not a surcharge item! Breakfast the next morning was also very good. We upgraded our room from the standard one and could not fault the room or the housekeeping staff who were lovely. This is the second year in a row we have held our yearly golfing event plus wives because we all enjoyed it so much last year. It is a stunning venue and I'm sure we will be back.

Positive experience: The room is comfortable but there’s absolutely no noise insulation. I could hear the conversation taking place in the room next door, word for word. The additional charge for the spa is absolutely not worth it. The pool is so over chlorinated my face was stinging and the facilities are also full of kids so far from a relaxing experience. The food in the sports bar is comparable to an overpriced Wetherspoons. Overall, underwhelming. I’ve stayed in nicer hotels in the locale.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a golf weekend here, we loved this place, the golf courses were great. The staff were fantastic too and the facilities were also very nice. The meal in the evening on Saturday was very very good. So was the breakfast. I would say it's not cheap for anything really, drinks were rather highly priced along with snacks so be prepared for some expensive rounds. Saying this we would come again!!

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean, tidy and well maintained accommodation. Swimming pool and gym on site. Good food in Brasserie also bar food available. Good location for exploring Norfolk. 15 mins from Norwich.

Positive experience: We live locally and popped in for a coffee. I've been to BB for a few golf weekends and found it to be very pleasant. It really is set up as a golf resort, so anyone staying without a golfing interest may find it overwhelming, due to large groups.

Positive experience: Came here for a wedding reception originally went to the wrong area as I wasn't aware the hotel and event area are separate, I've made the mistake so you don't have to! Place was decorated well with good facilities. An exceedingly helpful member of staff overheard my dietary requirements and went to the kitchen to get something specially made for me. All staff were polite and friendly and I'd happily go again.

Positive experience: Family weekend away playing golf. Was a lovely environment. My only negative was the food selection for both breakfast and dinner. You had a choice of continental was limited and the cooked breakfast option though there was choice, arrived either overcooked or warm. Not hot. The evening meal again limited selection if you are a vegan or vegetarian. We stayed 2x nights and only 1x option was available which was the same both nights. The meal it's self was nice. A big thank you to all the staff, there customer service was very good. Would recommend a stay there. Not a fan of there spa facilities so did not use it. Have used it in the past.
