Great Hadham Country Club

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed a round of golf here, the grounds are very well kept and the people are very friendly. There is a nice shop, driving range and practice green. With a 19th hole at the end it’s a great value for money! Recommended

Negative experience: Lovely course but so badly run !!! Too many four-balls playing causing slow play ! Kids playing in groups never played the game before! Would not recommend if you like a steady flow of golf !!

Fantastic experience: Warmly welcomed at the pro shop and everything ready for us to go straight out and enjoy our round of golf! Buggy was clean and tidy and well looked after. The course was in great condition and the greens were super quick even at this time of year! Excellent experience allround.

Fantastic experience: An excellent time had at Great Hadham. The course was in fantastic condition, especially the greens. The staff in the pro shop and bar area were friendly and welcoming. We had lunch after our round, which was both delicious and very good value for money. All 4 of us, two ladies and two men, will almost certainly be joining as members in the near future.

Tee time spot on with no waiting I didn't book buggies at the time but it wasn’t a problem getting two on the day as they have plenty of them. Good golf shop and very good staff who gave us some very handy information of the course cannot fault Great Hadham at all. Fantastic experience: The weekend. I hosted my husbands 40th birthday. The staff at the golf club went above and beyond for myself and my family. Location is perfect, function room is spacious and looks great at night , with all the lights and decor. The bar staff are amazing and always collecting glasses and cleaning as they go!!! I can't thank the staff enough for all their help and quality customer service!!! Thank you all !!!! One very happy customer

Positive experience: Rude staff in the pro shop booked the wrong tee time on their system and acted like it was our fault. He nearly got the wrong day too when I called originally. Fairways were long, the 2nd cut around the green was 3 inches long on some holes, looked like it hadn't been mown in a week. The greens had been aerated and top dressed. The proshop only had paper score cards that got destroyed when we had a short shower. This is peak season the course should be in its best condition. Get out there and start mowing. October update: course in better condition now than when I played in summer. Rating bumped up from 1 to 3 stars. Greens in decent condition.

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding reception here 2 weeks ago and they were fantastic. It was all short notice as our original venue cancelled on us. They were so helpful and friendly and couldn't have been any more helpful. My only regret is that we didn't choose them first. The food, disco and staff are brilliant .

Negative experience: Tried to book up a Spa treatment but the Spa hasn't been open since COVID. Even though I actually went to the Country Club nobody knew this. It wasn't until I emailed them I was told that. They need to update their website!

Positive experience: I last played here 20 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the changes. They took the spoil from the Olympic park and have created bunds between each fairway which are rich with flora and create a sense of privacy between each hole. Generous fairways allow you to have a go and you lose your sense of where you are due to the bunds protecting you. Greens are slow but true. Worth while with your County card.

Negative experience: Rather shoddy golf course. Did not appear that course was getting any investment, examples like, many bunkers were not fit for play, tees were in poor condition, fairways boggy built on clay. Staff were pleasant enough
