Positive experience: Too noisy. Can hear classes from my home. Needs soundproofing. Gym refurb is good though

Positive experience: Showing its age (don't build them like they used to), but good facilities

Positive experience: Good size changing cubicles for getting the kids sorted, friendly staff and always clean

Positive experience: Have asked numerous times to the instructors and a manager to get the classes to put the ropes away at the smith machine after the classes as it’s a trip hazard but every time I come in there back after I put them away. Will not ask again as I’m sick of it tbh, not a big ask really. Broken electrical sockets around the gym.

Positive experience: Always great every time I go. It's a 25m pool with dedicated lanes. The staff are always very friendly and the triangus triathlon is held in this centre and it always is a blast as the staff are so accommodating. It's never overbooked which is nice especially in the pool. I'd give it an extra 5th/5 stars if it was open as early as other clubs for a pre work visit, but I understand it would be a luxury.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are excellent - I use the pool for lane swimming, the sauna and steam and RPM classes. The pool is always warm, the showers are a perfect temperature and the changing rooms and, indeed, the whole centre are clean and well maintained. Plenty of free parking in the car park. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. This is by far the best leisure centre I’ve ever used, it’s wonderful to see it being used and enjoyed by all ages and is a great asset to Montrose.

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely leisure centre! Friendly staff at the front desk. A cafe, gym, studios and courts as well as lap pool and the studio pool, a small pool with a moveable floor to offer different depths depending on the activity.

Negative experience: Its getting a pump review due to the fact they cannot pick up the phone at reception after about an hour of endless calling. I want to go swimming but I don't want to drive an hour to find out I can't for whatever reason.

Fantastic experience: Youngest and eldest are always here swimming, basketball, gym they love it

Positive experience: Did my first triathlon there on Sunday, great facilities in a lovely part of the country.

Negative experience: This place is so big, yet its not utilised in best manner. Gym is very basic and always cold, staff are absolutely obsessed with covid safety.

Positive experience: Facilities are great, however the shoe policy for swimming changing rooms is a bit of a joke and not practical at all for those of us with ocd issues. The overshoes were manageable but having to take shoes off at the door, when not even partaking of swimming but dropping a bairn off is too much for me

Positive experience: Bigger than I thought. Lots of different swimming sessions to choose from. Lady on desk very helpful and let us borrow trolley tokens as we didn't have money for locker.

Positive experience: Angus has more than it's share of council run leisure centres and the Montrose one, by far, is the most comprehensive of them. From the indoor courts, hall, fitness centre and pools. Most sports can be played here. There is also a creche for the little ones. On the downside, the coffee shop provides one of the weakest cups of coffee you can buy in Montrose. Just be careful though, there is a rumour of a changing room killer going about. I think I may have captured him in a photo going about his business.

Positive experience: My son enjoyed the swimming pool here. Food in the cafe was good as was the coffee.

Positive experience: It Is a lovely place to meet people with you have a little café area with various hot and cold drinks and food. Have been visiting the centre for a good few years as its used for teaching and coaching. There are two pools a studio pool and a larger main pool depth of around 2mtrs many staff and lifeguards there so you can feel safe. I recommend this as a good place to meet up with pals or simply enjoy the centre and that it has to offer.

Positive experience: The sport centre is a great local facility. Between the fitness suite, weight room, swimming pool and cafe, you have everything you would expect from a local leisure centre. The studio pool is a great for young kids and adult classes as the floor is moveable, so its a great addition

Fantastic experience: Great gym has everything I need, and the staff are so very helpful. The range of activities and classes offered is also excellent. Most importantly, though, I feel that the management could listen to the customers more. I have given feedback at various times regarding issues that have arisen, but not once has anything been acknowledged. If I do my feedback online, I do get a response.

Positive experience: Reception staff can be impatient with newbies, and the pool is totally boring and not very good for very small children. Apart from that, the place overall does what it's supposed to do. Could do with something Nice, like a Jacuzzi and steam room. Just saying.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed here. The pool itself is very small and offers no room for family activities. The gym is very standard and doesn't offer alot of variety for fitness. The halls are very good offering good quality offering children a safe environment to peruse their hobbies. My only main issue with this place is the cost for this stuff. It's a wonder that Scotland has such a name for overweight teens and adults when you have to pay so much money for such poor service.

Positive experience: Nice gym though a bit small and can get too busy at times, especially the weights suite. Does have an Olympic pool and sauna free to use for members. All classes are included in the membership.
