Fantastic experience: Awesome Gym. Good equipment. Friendly staff, fantastic studio and punch bags! Sauna and pool is perfect for relaxing after a great workout. Members are polite and seem to leave the egos at the door. Everyone seems focused on training and respect one another. Overall good place to train,de-stress and leave feeling rejuvenated.

Fantastic experience: Friendly gym with great advice. Warm, clean sauna and pool (18m long by 1.2m deep, so perfect for safe, relaxed swimming). Everything I need for an unpressured fitness day.

Negative experience: Good if you want to socialise and chat not it you want results all the stuff in there is out dated steam room isn’t to hygienic in all it’s not great for the money

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of this gym for a few years now and the staff are just fantastic. I'd been unable to attend for a while and returned recently and attended a class and Yas, who led it was amazing! Not only how she conducted her class (Aqua) but how she checked in on me as I am pregnant! If you want to a join a gym in East Grinstead this is the one! Thanks All ❤️

Fantastic experience: Good morning all So today I had induction from Isaac A young chap but with real passion for what he hoped for the patrons using the service I'm sure there are many gyms that may look esthetically more pleasing but as an older man, enjoyed how the gym felt plus pool and classes very happy to come down Best wishes Kevin

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, everyone is so friendly. The staff members remember your name and make you feel welcome. Relaxed feel mixed crowd from young to old. No-one would feel out of place. Next to the wellequipted gym I love the swimming pool sauna and steam room. You leave feeling like you have had a spa day! Good changing facilities with plenty of spacious lockers. Whats not to love!

Positive experience: Basically everything's there. Swimming pool is 1,2m and 3 lanes - which is ok. Weekend hours are quite short, which is sad. Also everything could do with some upkeep - missing shower knobs, loose parts, paint coming off, dirty steam room or tile fillings... And you have to bring your own padlock for the locker room. At least the staff is friendly.

Positive experience: Best gym in town, also kyron is one of the best personal trainers I've had.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly local gym. Great swimming pool that is rarely busy. Lots of free classes. Especially like the Qi Gong class on Tuesday 2-2:45.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at all the gyms pretty much in the area and I can say after spending 14+ months as a member at Énergie I have found my gym temple . The staff make the place , an outstanding crew with passion . There not pushy and annoying or wooden (unlike other gyms in the area) . They have a personal caring attitude to all members . Lockdown was difficult but they rose to the occasion reaching out and helping members . You can’t say that about all gyms and franchise ones or even independent ones. They kept that spirit alive as best they could . The early morning crew are always there with a smile on there faces (well I assume through the masks the eyes tell you) and even at 6:00am make you feel like smashing it on the floor . Small words of encouragement go along way , I was out of sorts when I joined a few words of advice from the PT guys and I started to improve form and saw more gains. Beth Thomas is one of the PT’s down there I can say she gave me the tools to succeed on my own with limited equipment and knowledge in lockdown. The classes when they start are amazing James the manager has kept them fresh and has his team working on keeping that way every week . Never a dull and always a full session. If you are like me and feel a bit awkward in gyms not too confident in yourself . These guys will help you , not by being hard or even pushy but the listen learn from you what you need and surprise you by helping you achieve your goals in a fun positive way befor you know it . I’ve personally lost 3.5 stone and decreased my fat index all by trusting these guys . They know what there doing . They have made going to the gym less of a chore and I genuinely love training again . Join , enjoy , be safe and be happy in your self and what you achieve here Best choice your ever make

Positive experience: Lovely little gym just needs some new equipment badly. The pool good 1.6mtr deep not cold never use other stuff but there plenty more. If they had new equipment I would give 5 stars but because poles are rusty and missing a few machine doesn't mean you can't workout here just have to make do

Positive experience: Polite staff who will remember your name and be happy you have arrived. Pool, sauna, steam room, cardio area, weights area and classes. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the equipment could do with a little update although has everything you need.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and friendly members too. Wide range of machines and stations, some equipment looking a little tired but overall a good experience. You sometimes quite a few gym bros in the free weights area so pick your times to visit. Good value.

Fantastic experience: The facilities at the gym are very adequate. I find it very relaxing to have a swim in the pool after working out. It is such a good deal being a member...being able to attend any number of classes from a very wide selection, such as: Pilates, Spin, Yoga, Posture (+ many more). Also, when you join the gym, a 6 week training programme is arranged and thereafter you can continue having a variation of 6 week training programmes. Highly recommended! :-) Ray

Fantastic experience: From being afraid to enter a gym to absolutely loving it,I have to say I love energie Fitness East Grinstead. Haunted by memories of being rubbish at PE at school , the lycra clad eighties and the idea of muscle men pumping iron, I really could not see how I would end up in a gym- ever. However, having passed fifty, and in danger of seizing up altogether (!) through lack of exercise,once I had experienced the kindness,patience and friendly atmosphere of the energie gym,with nice owner James Daniels and his caring staff,I cannot stay away from the place,whether it is to attend a whole range of classes,wallow in the lovely clean,warm pool,or improve my fitness on the equipment. I have to say I am shamefully hooked!! So,if like me,you are terrified,no good at sports,not a poser, or if you are concerned about your age,weight,physique or shy,like me,believe me,you will find that energie gym is for you. Of course, if you are also just a person,who has no fear of gyms,it is for you too!! Also,it is incredibly good value for money... I pay £32 pounds a month,and that includes the gym,the pool and all exercise classes,plus a free personalised 6 week program with a personal trainer.How good is that???
