Fantastic experience: We went with our grandchildren. They had an absolutely fantastic time. Very high on safety so there was no worries about them falling. They love the place. First they have a safety video befor they can go climbing. The staff make sure the safety lines are correctly set up befor they can climb. 1 parent/guardian can go in to assist. There is a small cafe that is very reasonable in price. A ball/climbing area reserved for the smaller children.

Fantastic experience: We have visited many rock ups previously however during my recent visit to the whitely village based site, the store manager Nathan and his young colleague Oscar were both exceptional and made our visit a truly enjoyable and memorable one. Nathan exhibited true qualities of a really outstanding manager and made us feel very welcome at all times. Nothing was too much hassle. Oscar although only 18 had such an enthusiasm for his job that made my daughters climb the most enjoyable session she has had. If it hadn't been for Oscars passion for what he does her climb would have been relatively dull and nowhere near as enjoyable. We were lucky enough to visit late when we were the only people in the session but regardless Nathan and Oscar but made us feel vips even after a long and busy day. Excellent work which should be commended and recognised. True assets to your rock team and shining examples of first rate customer service. Please be sure to pass our thanks and gratitude back to them both!

Positive experience: I visited with my family and our young children under the age of five. The soft play area was satisfactory, however, there were older children over the age of two using the baby area and the staff did not appear to be concerned about this. The gate was frequently left open, which resulted in my child wandering out of the area.

Positive experience: Absolutely great fun for all ages. Toilets need sorting , and general maintenance, but grandchildren loved it.

Fantastic experience: Lovely young staff full of energy and zest! The climbing equipment is cool and the soft play is decent. We caught a quiet period so my little boy had a whale of a time in soft play while my eldest was busy climbing which he enjoyed too. The toilet facilities could have used a clean but I think they’d had a mega busy day before we arrived so I don’t blame them. By the time I was leaving I noticed someone had tidied the bathroom to be fair!

Positive experience: I attended with my almost 1 year old recently to try the soft play area whilst in the area. It was on a Saturday so it was busy but that was fine. We were waiting a while in the queue for the entrance but the staff were friendly once we got seen. The soft play area was an ok size for babies and my little one enjoyed the ball pit and the sensory bits. I decided to get coffee whilst there. I was waiting for the staff member to notice me for quite a while. They had headphones in and had there back to me so I struggled to get there attention. Once I did it took a while to get my coffees and I had to repeat my order. Although the staff member was friendly, they were very slow. The soft play area was not managed and unfortunately this meant that older children were jumping in and out of the baby area. Which made it unsafe for my little one. I had to tell children to be careful a few times. I felt that the staff focus was on the climbing area, and due to children's parties they were busy. The facilities were clean and there was plenty of seating for parents. I would visit again but maybe on a weekday where it might be quieter so that I feel safer with my baby. The climbing area looked really fun so I Iook forward to giving this a go when my son is older.

Fantastic experience: Booked an under 5s party for our daughters. The older children loved the climbing and younger ones loved soft play. It was well organised by the party host and good food. The party room had funky music, lights and a happy birthday banner which is everything that we needed and a lot more than others provide. It was a very stress free party which is always a plus. Special shout out to Grace for making sure the party ran smooth and being extremely helpful!

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic time with our seven year old at this climbing centre. Similar to Click N' Climb however being in a retail space felt warmer than the usual industrial unit. Safety seemed good with double checks on harness. Overall great experience. Recommend booking your slot online as does get busy.

Positive experience: My daughter and niece seemed to enjoy their time here. My only moan is that for the price I feel they should at least include one go on the hang slide or at least start the video prep a bit earlier. It's the kids that wanted to go, they enjoyed it, so if you can afford it, do it.

Fantastic experience: Took my 3 year old daughter here to use the soft play. Staff great and very friendly. Had a lovely Coffee from the cafe and my little girl had a great time playing. The seating area does feel a little cramped but it's in perfect position to see both the soft play and the climbing area.

Fantastic experience: We booked our 3 year olds Birthday party and it could not have been better. The soft play is fantastic. For under 5s its not too big and they do not need to worry about too large and area or too many big kids. Grace was our party planner and she was awesome, so organised and friendly. The party room was fantastic and the food could not have been better. Pizza, fruit platter, party rings, crisps and ice cream we had very full toddlers by the end. Our 10 year old and his friend went climbing while the toddlers played but they were then able to join us in the party room. We will absolutely book again, hopefully for the climb and play next year. Fantastic experience: Really nice (although a bit frightening) experience. If you are terrified of heights this is one way to challenge it!

Negative experience: Awful visit today! Sunday, 7th at 2pm. Took my 2 year old grandsons to soft play. States quite clearly baby area! The place was rammed with older kids, obviously attending parties, which I get! But the older children were not being managed and were running riot. No one was stopping them going into the baby area, and as a result one of my grandsons ended up with a bloodied lip due to an older child. I approached staff behind the counter regarding the incident but was met with blank expressions! Older kids were chasing each other through the seating area, obvious of people sitting there, throwing balls from the ball pit at each other. Again, no one managing this! We left after 50 minutes, it was dreadful! Do not think I will be going back!

Negative experience: I have been to Rock Up several times now, and each time I have left anxious, overwhelmed, and angry. Despite clear signage for the baby area, I have been forced to do other people's jobs and tell the big kids to get out after having several near misses between them and my baby and baby nephew. I have had to tell them off, and try and locate staff to try and get them out. Today was the last straw. Several older kids between the ages of 8 and 12 were in the baby area. Three were throwing the foam animals and vehicles around, two were in the ball pit having a rather violent ball fight, and one was going up and down the slide!! This was such a hazard to the babies trying to play that I had to repeatedly shout at them to get out. No staff around to get them out, no parents around to get them out. The boys in the ball pit threw a ball that hit my nephew in the face. A girl was swinging from the ceiling of the baby area and kicked my son AND my mother in the head. When one of the older kids knocked my nephew over and split his lip open I was done. If you can't do your job and actually watch over the area, then do something to limit how many people, parties, and ages you actually let in. I would not recommend this place if you want your kids to come home in one piece. I'm never coming back here again, especially not for £8 a ticket for a TWO YEAR OLD.

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely place. Brought my 2.5 year old daughter for the toddler climb, she was really anxious but the staff were brilliant, putting stickers for her to climb to that gradually got higher and higher. They absolutely could have just left us to it, but they went out of their way to accommodate her and make sure she had a really good time. Without them, I don't think I'd have even got her to give it a go. Clean and tidy venue, great little soft play for after, tea and cake was great - we live in southampton but absolutely worth driving over for this. £11.95 feels like a bargain to me!

Fantastic experience: Took the children here today, the staff were AMAZING. I think it was Ashleigh and Nathan. They were so helpful, and made our experience fantastic. It's one of the main reasons for coming back. The soft play was LOVED by the kids.

Positive experience: Usually really love Rock Up . Today they needed more staff on the floor. It was a busy wet afternoon in half term. When we have been before they're were two or three, today just one on the floor, one in briefing and one on high ropes.

Positive experience: The food was not cooked thoughley meatballs raw in the middle.& the carage for taken you up the hill to see the view was very difficult to get in and out of.

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely party for a 10 year old girl who attends a sen school. Everyone commented on how well the party went, especially as all children's individual needs were accommodated for. The staff were really great and helpful and we look forward to visiting again soon

Fantastic experience: We (very luckily) had the place to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and chatty with the kids. They helped to encourage them and the best ways to climb certain walls. After a short safety video and chat the kids were fitted with their harnesses and had a practise at clipping on and off of the equipment. The venue was very clean and tidy. We didn’t eat or drink on this occassion so can’t comment on that. Parking at Whiteley is free so that’s a bonus too!

Fantastic experience: We have 4 children so it came out a bit pricey but the staff kind of makes you forget about it, they're so helpful, they're extremely child friendly, supportive, bubbly and seem to genuinely enjoy their job, even though there is only a few of them compared to the amount of climbers they are always there to give a hand clipping or unclipping, two of my sons went on the high ropes and got a bit wary so the staff pretty much immediately went to rescue them and gave words of encouragement to complete it, so much so, they went up again and managed to do it, the service is impeccable and I can't thank them enough for making our session so enjoyable. The climbing walls are really fun and there are a wide range of climbs. It seemed a bit crowded in the briefing room and I was worried our children would spend a lot of their time waiting around for a wall, there was no wait time at all, there was always one available, all in all this is fantastic value for money and we will be making this a regular thing now. Thankyou

Fantastic experience: Staff went above and beyond for me today, they were truly exceptional. I had booked a party for my young persons 10th birthday, and due to a variety of circumstances only a handful of children made it. (It was on Easter bank holiday). Without me asking, they rallied round so my young person wouldn’t be upset at the no-shows, and threw in party bags, and a slushie each - and that was just the tip of the iceberg. They did so much more. They went above and beyond to make it a great day for them. I can’t thank them enough, they were excellent. He has had a truly memorable day for all of the right reasons (instead of the wrong ones) and it was down to the generosity of the staff. <3

Fantastic experience: This is around the 8th time we have been recently. It is a great value activity and you get ample time on the climbing walls. The high ropes and the vertical drop were also excellent for my nearly 12 year old. The staff were absolutely amazing and really go above and beyond to help the children have a great time! Loved the music on this visit too!

Negative experience: Wednesday offer not available on a Wednesday?? Nothing available an hour and a half after arriving, mismanaged? Unprecedentedly busy on a Wednesday at 15:30? Either way, not happy. I’m this day and age how hard can it be to just arrive, pay and play?

Fantastic experience: Took our 4 year old daughter for the toddler session - helpful, friendly staff - everything was so safe! She absolutely loved it - and great value for money! She has never done anything like it before but she can't wait to return!

Positive experience: My children had a brilliant time and really enjoyed all on offer at Rock Up. A good variety of walls to climb with varying levels of difficulty. Even though it was busy on arrival, waiting times were minimal and there was always something free for them to do. We will definitely visit again!

Fantastic experience: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at the SEN session on 12/2/24. They were all great with the children, especially the children with additional needs. Izzy was great with my daughter and had a race up some of the walls which gave my daughter the confidence to keep trying. They spoke clearly and happily to the children and were very quick to help them get clipped in and out which allowed all the children to have a turn on all of the walls. Will definitely return as there aren’t many places around which cater so well to families who need extra assistance.

Fantastic experience: My 5 yr old loves Rock Up and asks to go back every time we have the opportunity. The climbing packages are good value for money (60-90mins of climbing plus soft play for up to age 5). Great indoor exercise and makes climbing as a sport accessable for everyone. We have found the staff very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back again .

The staff were very helpful, kind and patient with the boys. I can't praise them enough. A brilliant morning would highly recommend going and letting the little ones have a go.

Fantastic experience: such friendly staff really didn't matter if big or small they engaged with them all. our 2 year old wasn't sure but loves it now our 5 year old loved it so much he went back next day. prices too were really good and the soft play really fantastic and you have the option to do climbing or soft play only which for 2 year old day 2 was perfect the staff nothing was too much I pointed out an issue with a floor matt they noted it straight away I would love to see one of these on isle of wight would be great opportunity for the company

Fantastic experience: Great place for young people who are interested in having a go at climbing. Such an energetic and challenging experience. Builds confidence and skills from the very young to the brave if they take on the high level activities Professional staff and safety briefing with adults allowed to support their children. My only quibble would be space. There's a lot in a small area, and it can be a bit crowded and a little wait for some of the kids, depending on their ability and the activity. Children's parties are very well run, and the menu and quality of the food was excellent.

Fantastic experience: Staff member Sally was amazing! She was extremely patient and welcoming with our visit on Friday (29th Sept) Daytime. Both my Daughter and my Son recieved care and a confidence boost from her on many climbing challenges. Sally is a wonderful asset to the team. We will be back!

Fantastic experience: It's a great venue. The staff are friendly and energetic. The walls are of varying difficulty, so there'll be something to challenge or to be able to do. The obstacle course is fun and the vertical slide is an extra attraction. My daughters (9 and 11) love going there.

Fantastic experience: Good fun for the kids, £15 a person which I thought was ok for what you get. I would recommend going during the week as the weekends get busy and you end up waiting to climb the walls. Overall a good hour or so of entertainment... Especially on a rainy day. Also parking is free in Whiteley.

And last but certainly not least, an extra special thank you to Teo who was so sweet and helped our son on the walls and got him across the high ropes when he was feeling a little apprehensive at such a height. ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Went as part of a beavers activity and I have to say the place is very well organised with a decent team overseeing the safety of the children considering the size of the class or the was good and very professional. What they have done in such a small space is very very impressive, you have your main climbing area with all the walls with varying difficulties and challenges, a circular totem poles that was very challenging, at the very top there is a circular route reminding me of go ape but indoors, a demon drop, at the back a decent looking soft play for the younger ones and once all that is over there is a small cafe with a selection of drinks and food. As I said it's impressive what they have squeezed into the small space with so much to do. Big thumbs up by the little beaver.
