Fantastic experience: I took my little boy swimming for the first time here. The staff member at the desk was very friendly and told me where everything was. The learner pool is a good size and was a good depth for my nearly four year old to be able to stand up in. It was nice and warm and we stayed for about 45 minutes. There are large family changing rooms, so we could fit in easily and change. It's free parking and a good price to swim. We will definitely be back again and again.

Negative experience: The water is sooo hot, you can barely swim

Positive experience: Excellent gym, brilliant staff, modern machines, always ice cold air conditioning. Only bug bear is the WiFi is non existent, and the 4G isn't great so sometimes my workout music is cut short.

Negative experience: WARNING- do not leave your shoes in the rack unless you want them stolen!!!!

Negative experience: I'm only giving 1 star because I don't want you to go there, it's busy enough as it is when I swim in the mornings, otherwise it would be 5 star.

Fantastic experience: Cleanest gym I have ever belonged to (& believe me I've tried a lot! ) Top equipment, friendliest staff, great classes. I could not recommend it more.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved from London, which has a gym round every other corner. Was surprised to find one as good as this down in Devon. The fitness centre is really well equipped, the machines are well maintained, and the instructors are approachable and helpful. Although I don't use it, the swimming pool is also really good, and I understand that there is a wide variety of exercise classes available. Also, and surprisingly, there are people of all age groups making use of the facilities. However it is relatively expensive, so you need to make regular use of it to get your money's worth.

Negative experience: Arrived to find the learner pool is closed as its too cold. Very strange and no notice on the website as I checked timings before leaving the house.

Fantastic experience: I didn't use the leisure centre for fitness. I used the Instavolt car charger and popped into the leisure centre to avail of their facilities. All the team were really friendly. The coffee shop serves lovely coffee and homemade cakes.

Positive experience: I like the swimming pool but it's a shame about the amount of availability for public swimming especially in the evenings as the swimming club has priority

Negative experience: Absolute disgrace of an establishment! Went in with two babies for water -tots. They advertise the hours on their website, not our first time there. We get there only to be told "we are full capacity" can only let one in. WHAT??! forget the pool was half empty, we then asked why on earth do they publish hours and not update anywhere online this can happen? Was told "we can't update". You people are an utter joke! Two screaming babies, 15 mins of drive back home. Useless . Was told we cannot enter ANY part of the pool either. Shame on you! Why don't you limit your lessons instead of specifically designated BABY time which are only 3 hours a week anyway!!!!!! Parents of babies- go somewhere else !

Fantastic experience: Could not fault anything at this leisure centre the staff were very helpful as this was the first time my granddaughter (3years old) had been swimming we were down here on holiday and had never used this facility before however I would recommend it to anybody

Positive experience: It's a really nice pool the only thing against it there is only 1 cubicle set aside for disabled people. The cafe is amazing I've never been disappointed with my meals and it's reasonably priced to.

Positive experience: It's a great place for so many activities. Lovely, helpful staff with a fun vibe. Definitely 5 stars but for the awful music playing in the gym whilst training. Most young and old wear ear pieces, so it's not a generation thing.

Fantastic experience: Great day for a swim, clean changing rooms with onsite cafe and parking.. what more do you need? Well they have a gym and fitness classes which is a selection suitable for everyone. Summer hols have started so the swimming pool timetable has changed and will alter weekly. But the adult swimming lanes will stay in the same slot as usual.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility with great classes, pool, gym equipment and coffee shop. Staff so friendly and helpful. Plus they are doing all they can to go green - solar panels, insulated building and ground source heat pump being installed.

Positive experience: Went to this place for the first time as a disabled guest for a swim. Very clean & tidy. There is a small area in the changing section by the pool. Between locker 145 and the blue hippo be aware of a slippy floor. Due to high human traffic has lost the surface grip & became a slippery surface as I found out. Tiles around pool could do something for your feet to grip or wear flip flops....do NOT run. The changing area keep your out door shoes off the floor or in shoe holders before you enter. Is power hosed and kept clean. Pool depth deep end 2m shallow end 1m. Well ventilated and lots of natural light.

Fantastic experience: We go to Aqua tots and it's amazing. The learner pool is warm and they have LOTS of toys and balls for the kids to play with. I actually love the fact they have a shoe zone where you take your shoes off before you go into the swimming pool/changing rooms. Such a genius idea. Staff are on point. I have only been twice and the receptionist already knew what I came for - amazing!!

Negative experience: This swimming pool is a joke, you can only do lane swimming if you are retired or unemployed, you don’t stand a chance if you work full time. Even if you do manage to get there for one of the few weekend sessions there is a good chance as I have had twice lately that the pools are closed due to faults or no chlorine! Will be using the pool in wellington from now on.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, excellent facilities, very clean and great provision for wiping down surfaces after use. The only reason it's not a 5* review is that at £34/month for membership its a bit pricier than the other gyms. That said, it was lovely and quiet with plenty of machines and no waiting.

Positive experience: A good swimming pool with a learner pool, gym and studios for exercise classes.

Negative experience: This so called "public" pool is hardly ever open to the public and is far too frequently booked up for lessons. I can't even take my daughter swimming after work of a evening.

Positive experience: Overall good facilities however not enough time allocated to public swimming during the week in the learner pool and especially the main pool during weekdays.

Fantastic experience: Clean, spacious, and well laid out. Two well sized pools for lane swimming and lessons, and a learner pool which is good sized for about 10 families. The changing facilities are well laid out and good size lockers/cubicles. Importantly, the cafe is only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday! Spectators can view from the seats at the side of the pool. Having grown up in this area (20 years ago) with the old, tired pool, this leisure centre is amazing.

Positive experience: I took my little Grandson to the learner pool there in Tiverton. Cost was very reasonable, reception staff very helpful and polite and pool well maintained. Only slight complaint was that showers were too hot for him afterwards.

Fantastic experience: I became a member in July and since then I have used the pool three times a week and the gym twice a week. I have two incurable diseases, Multiple Sclerosis and a lung disease. Every member of staff I have met since joining has been courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I have had lunch at the cafe and it's always been delicious and they make the best cappuccinos.

Positive experience: It’s good value. I had gym and swim membership. My only issue is the little in-house cafe. I ordered a sausage roll and it was awful, had gristle in it. I have eaten there 3 different times and had to leave the lunch every time because of the quality so I never eat there now. Also staff seem grumpy and off hand.

Fantastic experience: Review for the EV Instavolt chargers only! I’ve used these chargers a few times in the last 3 months. Thee are 2 chargers and there has never been another car charging whilst I charged. Each time the chargers gave high 40s at the start of the charge (on a Leaf) much better that the Ecotricity chargers on the M5
