City Hustle Gym

Negative experience: I have been to many gyms and while not all are perfect this is definitely the worst I have ever visited. Staff pays no attention to their clients, the gym floor is dirty and you can never find the equipments you need. Moreover, machines feel wobbly, unsafe and are always “under repair”. There are so many better gyms around this neighbourhood, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

Fantastic experience: Friendly community gym with a range of excellent equipment and dumbells. Very spacious so easy to get in a workout and most of all clean! High quality PTs who create plans according to your goals. Both group boxing and 121 session with Darnell is a vibe. Thank you Eron (gym manger) for creating a space for the local community to use and enjoy!

Fantastic experience: Such a great gym! It's a proper community feel and vibe! I really enjoy being a member here. You don't get the same socialisation and community aspect being at a regular commercial gym. The owner is very present and so lovely. The PT's are great and everyone is just so kind. The overall gym equipment is great.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym, the owner is lovely and makes you feel really welcome. I joined recently as GYMBOX had become borderline unusable, really pleasantly surprised. Nice and clean gym, never too busy, good price - 100% recommend

Negative experience: Small gym/ workout studio with low quality equipment. Treadmills and bikes are little home style low-budget models. There are several other pieces of equipment that are low quality, non heavy-duty gym standard. £15 pm is a more realistic price tag instead of the current membership price. If the rating was purely based on gym equipment and amenities, it'll be a 1/5.

Fantastic experience: City Hustle Gym is an amazing place to start your workout journey. Highly reccommended place with amazing trainer and outstanding machines & environment.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, mainly for powerlifting. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Negative experience: If you are used to pure gym then definitely DO NOT CHANGE! Dumbbells are stacked on top of each other on a tiny weights rack that looks like it was made in a dogey garage. Benches are small and unstable. Tiny facility, everything is within 30 cm of another apparatus. Their treadmill is very poor quality and will make you hate running. You can't deadlift upstairs as you might fall through the office floor. If you are not serious about making gains and want to have no space to breathe while working here then you should sign up...

Fantastic experience: Joined today! :) Much cleaner than energie fitness with friendly staff! Orange feel good settings. Would highly recommend any residents (females) looking for a gym in the E3 area.

Fantastic experience: Nice quiet gym

Negative experience: Really poor gym, I went there motivated for the idea of an empty gym, however, its always packed, doesn’t matter if you go in the morning of in the evening, 8am or 7pm, there is always a lot of people trying to work out. Most of the machines and weights are seriously damaged, there is only a single cable machine which is always occupied and makes the experience so frustrating. The shower looks in terrible conditions and you don’t even have a changing room or a water fountain. By last, people is really noisy and some members love to play music extremely loud that you cannot even focus even using headphones, its beyond rude. Pd: Avoid visiting the gym with bike, the road is awful and the bikes parking is always full of rubbish. In overall is the worst gym I ever visited, cannot believe how happy I am since I changed it!

Positive experience: Small Gym. Minimal equipments. Expensive membership. Not very well organised. I guess their working on adding more equipments to the gym. So 2.5/5 is a fair unbiased review for the time being.

Fantastic experience: A great privately owned gym. I've been to lots of gyms and this not being a commercial gym just sold it to me. Has all the equipment you need for a good workout. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend

Positive experience: I wanted to like this gym more than I did but some guests made going there unpleasant and even actively hostile to female members. My biggest issue was people would not derack their heavy plates from machines after use. After my 100th time struggling to get 20kg plates off the squat rack, I injured myself. That was the final straw. I cancelled my membership and joined a different gym.

Negative experience: Okay large home/garage Gym type! But definitely way overpriced @ £35pcm. They need more modern equipments and definitely more amenities like changing rooms, another shower etc to justify that sort money and if they want to hold onto clients, long term. More than 8 max 10 people in the gym at any one time will create a queue for equipments. I really hope City Hustle Gym make some serious improvements as it is right at my doorstep and at the doorstep of many new builds. Good luck, will follow on social platforms to see improvements and hope to join soon.

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing! City Hustle Gym has worked wonders for my physical conditioning.. an array of equipment, clean and excellent facilities.. My PT, Eron, understood all of my needs and excelled in making a plan to help me achieve this.. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, clean and well equipped, with everything you might need to workout (both weight training and cardio). The vibe and the atmosphere in the gym is really friendly and comfortable, and the owners themselves are lovely and have been happy to help with workout advice whenever I have needed it. 10/10, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a few gyms in the area and this gym is by far the best. The owners come across more friendly than ‘ business orientated ‘ It has parking, a fob system, a lovely atmosphere and is quiet a lot of the time, leaving no que’s for equipment. Could not recommend this enough

Fantastic experience: After management reached out, I found out that this Instagram account is fake. Thank you for reaching out and clarifying. If anyone else comes into contact with this Instagram account please ignore them as they are fake and are just looking for attention! Management very professionally handle this situation. I’m not sure if this little boy works at this gym, but it says he does in his Instagram that he uses to bully postpartum woman about their body. Considering his behaviour online, I honestly would not suggest going to this gym as there is a lot of judgement going on. I wouldn’t feel comfortable, safe or confident being in the same atmosphere as this child. Especially at a gym where some people can be vulnerable and at their lowest. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a safe place.

Positive experience: Price a little bit high but main thing there is nothing you can lock your bikes

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym with everything you need for strength and conditioning training. Equipment is brand new and of great quality. Owners have been very nice and responsive when I got in touch, and they were very accomodating when I wanted to just drop by and have a look. One thing to note, is that this is an unmanned gym. This isn't an issue for me, but it should be noted. Has room to get changed, a toilet and shower. At the time of writing (Sept 2020): 3 squat racks each with their own olympic bar, bench press with safety bars (big plus when lifting solo), deadlifting platform with dedicated olympic bar and bumper plates, and dips stand. Also, dumbells up to 50kg (2 sets for lower most often used weights), 4 adjustable benches, as well as some other stuff. As for cardio, they have an air bike and a treadmill, which should be enough for a warm up or cooldown. Also noteworthy as at Sept 2020, the necessary precautions are being taken re COVID-19. Oh and I love the bold orange colour scheme!
