Negative experience: I work full time and the pool is always half closed off for swimming lessons/swimming clubs any time I'm actually able to get to the pool. And doesn't open until 8:30 weekdays so can't go before work. All other pools in the same council are open from at the very latest, 7:30.

Fantastic experience: Visited during covid period - was pre-booked for my class and first time visiting the leisure centre. Staff were great, easily directed me to the class white following all the rules. Toilets available ok and good class and teacher. Great service thanks

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly recommended. Reception area spacious and staff pleasant. Swimming facilities are excellent as are changing areas. Great value too. The Prom cafe is the icing on the cake.

Fantastic experience: As leisure centres go, this is one of my favourites Staff are in general helpful. It's not too big and quite easy to find your way around. Never too crowded either which is good. This centre has a 25m pool, a fitness suite with the standard treadmills, cross trainers, cycles and resitence training machines, a separate weights room, squash courts, spin room and a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. A large hall is used for five aside, circuits training and other classes. Not into exercise...there is a really good cafe on site. Cafe has good coffee, excellent views and testament to its quality, it's always very busy. Good parking.

Negative experience: Is in serious need of updating. To much competition in the town with much better facilities. Larne leisure centre should consider catching up or it'll end up like the main street..... empty and desolate!

Negative experience: I have recently visited larne leisure centre after a break of some 6 months and i have found there that not only is their still an unpleasant noxious atmosphere to be experienced but if anything it has indeed worsened. Half an hour was the extent of what i would tolerate on this occassion. One wonders what or who the problem is. Is it a managerial/staff or services problem or do those in charge of this council run facility consider such an unhygienic environment to be acceptable from top to bottom.. Most certainly not a healthy or leisurely place to be nor a breath of fresh air to be had.
