Fantastic experience: David Lloyds Epsom is a wonderful club, friendly and clean with many different activities, classes and events. I've been a member for 21 years from when it first opened, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The new spa is an amazing addition and well worth a visit .

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of David Lloyd for around 7 years but the way they treat members is appalling. Utmost disrespect and nonexistent customer service. The staff desperately need proper training.

Fantastic experience: I am a member at David Lloyd, Epsom. I really love using the facilities and also enjoy attending the classes. I am there most days and love the spa and pools. I also go to a variety of yoga classes, aqua and use the gym. All of the instructors are excellent and the staff across the site are friendly and helpful. The club is kept clean and tidy and it is well maintained. There is a real community spirit in the club, it is more than just a fitness centre and offers extra events. I have had sciatica this year and found using the centre really useful for my rehab. The club has members of all ages and all levels of fitness, as an older woman I never feel out of place when I am there!

Receptionist very friendly and helpful One suggestion is to have a sign by the pool stating that you can't reserve sun beds.. too many people leaving belongings on them unattended for long periods of time

Fantastic experience: Definitely feels like an investment in myself rather than a cost. I was originally unsure I’d get value for money as doubted how much I’d use the gym, but it’s been well worth it. I’ve never been a fan of gyms, but the spacious and well equipped gym is great, the classes I’ve done so far are tough but well worth the effort and all the facilities are clean and in good condition. The spa facilities are excellent and make a huge difference to the experience. It’s also very handy to work from one of the various spaces when I’m not in London and don’t want to be in working from home all day.

Fantastic experience: I never normally write reviews, however when I come across good customer service it deserves recognition! I recently went for a tour as I am moving to the area and have to say Max was outstanding. It was a pleasure to be taken around the facilities whilst having a staff member so knowledgable and accommodating to my needs. Could not fault, I will be making a return.

Positive experience: Like being in a bar the reception area and changing rooms. Gyms smaller than some and it's busier than a lot of David Lloyd's, the area doesn't have to many options though

Positive experience: Overall the club has a nice vibe. The staff and instructors are all welcoming and supportive. The facilities are great, but at times it does feel like the club is oversubscribed, which is the only downside.

Negative experience: Poor reception and awful swimming lessons. I would like to cancel the lessons, but it’s been a struggle. I’ve called and visited in person, and they keep giving me different email addresses for cancellation. I’ve sent multiple emails to each one, but still no response.

Fantastic experience: I just want to thanks Nikol Argirova at Epsom site, she has been a great help to improve my fitness endurance and gain more confidence towards my fitness goals. I strongly recommend her services and looking forward to work with her.

Fantastic experience: Nice, renovated. All facilities are new, very nice changing room, yoga, reformer, blaze, gym are in a very good condition. Spa zone is nice and clean, two steam rooms, saunas, cold planch, jakuzi indoor and outdoor. Very nice staff, always on duty, there to help you. Bar area very big, quite area, playground, in and outdoor swimming pools. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Myself and my husband have been members of DL Epsom for a few years now and we love it. Blaze is our favourite class as well as Aqua and Pilates for me. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the service is always excellent. We enjoy using the spa as well. My trainer Nikol Argirova is amazing, so knowledgeable and an excellent trainer. She makes sessions really fun and has always has a positive attitude. Highly recommend Nikol and DL Epsom.

Fantastic experience: Joined David Lloyd, Epsom recently and so far am loving it. The classes are varied and fun and for someone who has never really previously enjoyed the gym, I’m a convert. I had some PT sessions with one of the trainers, Nikol Argirova, and she has motivated me so much. She’s patient, kind, so knowledgeable and passionate about fitness and her enthusiasm is contagious. It’s been great to learn the correct techniques so I can benefit from my sessions and have fun at the same time. If you can book some sessions with her you won’t regret it. The service all around the club at DL has been great. Huge shout out to Lilia in the cafe for her fab service. I usually see her before or after my workout - she does a great job and always with a cheery smile. Keep it up DL.

She took the time to really listen and understand what I needed, assessing how my body would respond to different workouts while also guiding me with a clear, manageable eating plan. Fast forward, and I'm more confident, fit, and healthy than I've been in years. Nikol didn’t just get me into a dress I wanted to wear for an event, she gave me the confidence to walk into the gym and know exactly what to do. She taught me how to navigate the machines, understand my body, and embrace the process. As a 40-year-old mum of two, this journey hasn’t been easy, and it’s far from over, but Nikol has motivated me and made the experience enjoyable. I can’t thank her enough for everything she’s done. Fantastic experience: I can definitely recommend the centre. It has all you need facilities. My personal trainer is Nikol Argirova and I am very satisfied with her personal training sessions.

Fantastic experience: Just had a PT session with Nikol Argirova, very knowledgeable and inspiring coach, strongly recommend if you’re looking for a PT using her.

Negative experience: Been a member for over 10 years. It has gone severely downhill over the last 2 years. Had my tools stolen from the car park 3 times costing me well over £5,000. Management couldn’t care less either. The gym is so oversubscribed that you can’t get on anything and can’t get on to any classes. You also have to park about 300m away in a muddy farm as the car park is always full. It is definitely not worth the £230 a month membership fee

Fantastic experience: Such a brilliant club, my wife and I spend so much quality time here together. The staff are always very welcoming, in-particular, Oli the manager who is an incredible asset to David Lloyd. We always stop to have a chat with him. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: OK firstly I get it. Its David Lloyd but let's get it straight. Its not really a private members clubs like people want to make it out to be. If you know facilities you will agree it's just OK. Membership is rated at a premium but service just isn't there yet. Staff compliment is high however I don't see it manifesting correctly and someone with a hospitality back ground certain things really puts me off. Towels mounting up outside family charging room right there in the lobby Tables left long periods before being cleaned Food is OK nothing special. I mean when you can't substitute protein powder for vanilla ice cream in a shake and mess that up. I mean come on. Equipment out of service for long periods Pool chairs dirty and sun washed I can go on but it's just hasn't gotten that WOW factor I keep hearing about. I believe membership has out grown this location. Sundays are your typical example of this, as the outdoor pool looks like a watering hole in the serengeti not even a place to breathe. My view if you're looking for a gym that's a little bigger than what's on offer in the area with a sauna and pool and you don't mind the price tag then yeah join but if you're looking for that private members expectation then keep looking

Positive experience: I love this club! The gym is excellent, as are the staff. However unless you have kids, it is best avoided at weekends as it is heaving & parking is a serious problem. I paid a lot extra to be able to access the lovely, luxury spa area, which is always clean & monitored most of the time. However, I can’t help but thinking people are blagging their way into the spa, who haven’t paid for its use. The most common method is, “I forgot my pass!” & they get let in, another is to wait till someone leaves & the security doors remain open long enough for someone to sneak through. One day, over 15 minutes, I saw 6 people gain entry in this way. None were challenged. I guess the staff don’t want to be sworn at. A big sign, staff can point to, saying “STAFF ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ALLOW ENTRY WITHOUT CORRECT PASS” would absolve them of responsibility. Finally, the scale in the men’s changing area has been broken for weeks, in spite of repeated requests to replace it. Now it’s actually disintegrating & it still sits there, useless . It’s a SALTER available on Amazon for £29.99.

Fantastic experience: Dance marathon I loved it. Jack - Dance aerobics I would say. Overlap on Andrea's tracks. Decibels to break hearing forever. No real ending. Loud music did not allow us to talk between. Andrea - Zumba fabulous, music at the right level. Begin and end. Katerina - amazing, direction, experience Prosecco was great. We needed healthy snacks to keep us going for 3 sessions. I am old so others may have a different experience.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff in all areas - very friendly and helpful, great trainers, cleaners working tirelessly to keep the whole premises spotless. No weirdness worthy of a Joey Swoll tiktok from the patrons in the gym. Overall, it's worth every penny. Loads of parking, plus additional parking just next door because the place is very popular. Of course, you do get the EXTREMELY loud mums "speaking" at their kids in the showers, so everyone has to listen to the excessive volume of these mothers. Something specific to DL clubs and either comical or irritating, depending upon your mood. Though it's mostly irritating tbh. The selfish mothers who take their shrieking kids into the adults only section in the changing rooms to continue with their unnecessarily loud, inane, self-serving chatter are mannerless and arrogant. Yep, mostly irritating because of the needless volume on max (we are aware of your presence, PLEASE stop shouting!!). This is less of the time as opposed to most of the time, thankfully. Overall: I've been a member at several different clubs, and this one, it must be said, is one of the nicest I've had the pleasure of attending. Even for a newbie, after the initial nerves, it honestly does become a joy to be there. THANK YOU DAVID LLOYD EPSOM
