Fantastic experience: Bradley & Veronica are stars, made me feel right at home, early morning can always get equipment. Mix of proper equipment or if your into more fitness stuff all there for you. Super clean, spacious locker room, showers fine. Very happy.

Negative experience: Be careful, this gym is a scam! Valentina sold me a corporate discounted flex membership. The discount was never applied, although I provided proof. I never received a contract or T&Cs either. I am now going through battles with membership teams who want to charge me for a full year as a penalty. They fabricated evidence of me receiving emails I never got. They are threatening and rude against members who simply choose to move on from illegally operated businesses. On top of it all, the gym is extremely dirty, worms in the sauna and equipment never cleaned. Smelly dirty towels, rude coaches. Do not go here.

Negative experience: This is the most disgraceful organisation I have encountered. Utterly unprofessional, rude, condescending staff especially Sam Sharma. I have been told not to enter the club unless I install the Fitness Fist App on my phone. I was ridiculed band embarrassed by the person who introduced themselves as the branch manager in the presence of other staff members and public for not having a SMART phone. I was laughed at by staff member who seem to think my life should be organised in the form of 'APPS' as "everyone has Apps on their phone" I repeatedly asked Sam Sharma to show me in the T&C's where it states that having a SMART phone is the only means of entering the club, She could not produce this evidence. (I also spoke to August at the STRAND branch who confirmed to me that this was not the policy) I requested Sam Sharma's name to raise this issue as the Club manager confirmed that I had to 'present ID' and will be 'logged' in. Initially Sam Sharma refused to give me her name, turned her back on me on numerous occasions she stated "I am not giving you my name" after approximately 5mins Sam wrote her name on a 'Post note' left it on the counter (for me to pick up) again turned her back towards me. I requested that the club investigate this, as it happened 'Front Of House' with witnesses and I assume recorded on CCTV. I am not sure of the other ladies name but can recognise her, she started this 'witch-hunt' several weeks ago and when I called the club to complain to the manager relating to her behaviour, however she answered the phone introducing herself as the club manager, reiterating that I can only gain entry if I purchase a SMART phone. I have escalated to Fitness First head office. with no response to date. If that is the way they treat people especially person's of age then I would encourage the public to avoid this organisation at all costs. What a disgrace., Unprofessional, shameful, bullies, liars, I have worked in the city for near 45 years and have been a gym member, at various clubs THROUGHOUT THIS TIME . etc. I have never encountered such arrogance, rude, disgusting, filthy set of people (Front of house only) in my entire time. FITNESS FIRST SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES (WHICH THEY ARE NOT) TO REFUSE A MEMBER ENTRY AFTER MONTHS, FOR NOT LIVING THEIR LIFE THROUGH FITNESS FIRST'S APP). I wrote to head office, direct to the CEO no response. 22.05.24. I have reached out to your membership team, 7 branches of your organisation since last week Friday. You have not had the decency to respond to emails, phone calls, on-line requests. So please do not provide such a vanilla response

Positive experience: Much smaller for what you pay for. There are a number of classes but the weights machines and equipment are limited comparatively. You would still get a decent workout in and it's not as busy in the evenings. There were frequent issues with the air conditioning units and water fountains

Fantastic experience: Sam the staff was wonderful I will hundred percent go there just because of her she was so welcoming and she showed us around we had an issue with our pass and she rectified it for us she is a gem of a human being and will definitely recommend this gym due to her hardwork

Positive experience: Location is great and staff are friendly, however the blatant constant lies that the air conditioner and water problems 'have been reported and are being worked on' are just getting old after 6 months! There is no working water fountain on the gym floor and the temperature inside is as if you're in the middle of August on the Bakerloo line. If 'bikram workout' is your thing, then strongly recommend the place. Otherwise no degree of friendliness can compensate for non functioning facilities

Negative experience: Air conditioning has been broken for over a year and hasn’t been repaired. Staff placed two fans on the gym floor but they are nowhere near enough. Too hot to work out in this weather to the point it’s becoming dangerous. Health & safety hazard.

Negative experience: Signed up for one month contract and had a coupon code, which despite telling me they will handle the application they never done.Fair enough, I just had one month since I was planning to leave the country on 20 May so did not care too much. However, the Gym Manager on April 19 and April 25 told me twice he would personally handle the cancellation process, assuring me that there was nothing for me to worry about. In addition, the Sales Manager of the branch, whom I spoke in the first week of May, also confirmed that the cancellation was being handled by them and reassured me that my membership would terminate on May 19th without any extra charge, just before my departure from the country. However, on May 19, I discovered that I had been charged for another month of membership.I contacted the gym to inquire about the situation, only to be informed that they had forgotten to process the cancellation. They assured me that they would investigate the matter and promptly call me back with a resolution same day. To this date, June 19 they never done it and if I did not do it myself online I would still be paying. I have tried to get my money back through the corporate office, but they could only apologies for the unprofessional behaviour. Still kept my 95£. All in all, do yourself a favour and go to a properly luxury gym, but most importantly with competent staff. Never again FF, will make sure in my investment bank they will know it too. Answer to the owner: month notice that was given the same day of registration to your manager. When asked if I should do it myself online he stated “no worries I will take care of this for you”. Do yourselves a favor, save the face and train your employees properly instead of replying misleading information here.

Fantastic experience: The staff are lovely, they welcome you, ask how you're doing and literally accommodate you no matter what size. I'm a bigger girl and new gyms give me anxiety but it was so welcoming. The showers are great, go extremely hot and have the best pressure. I'm always late to work because of them!

Fantastic experience: Joined in October and really enjoy it! Gym is great, nice classes and great staff, always been able to use equipment and classes not extremely busy. Djovany is so fun for the classes and for pushing you to your limits, Tino is a great manager and always makes you feel welcome when you come in as well as being a great PT, Veronica is also very friendly and a great PT, Kieran and Jonathan also very friendly, therefore they make this such a great environment to come to. I only come when in the office in the city but I wish I could come more! Lovely place. Leti

Fantastic experience: I have been a member in queen victoria street for a few years, i can definitely say the vibe and energy is great. Tino the manager is really friend and you can tell he really cares for the members. Only improvement i would suggest is the aircon, it can be a bit hot in the gym sometimes, but other than that great gym.

Fantastic experience: It’s the team here who make it for me so friendly and personable and they make you feel part of their training family ☺️ I’ve trained several times with Veronika who’s great and always super helpful, very passionate about training, using different variations and teaching different exercises to keep it fun and exciting. She has an amazing attitude and always ready to help! Djovany, Kieran and Jonathan are also great trainers who are clearly full of knowledge and make it a better training experience as a whole. Would recommend this gym if you want positive vibes and trainers who are always available to help/ give you advice.

Fantastic experience: I went to this gym for a complimentary session, and now I am second month with them, and see no end! Members of staff are not only friendly, but they are genuinely invested in achieving personal goals. With help of Djovani, within two months I've noticed my body being more toned. The progress have made my husband, whom loves sofa and TV, a little envious :) Going to the gym is one of the greatest self care choices. This regards not only achieving desired fitness levels, but also in managing stress and breaking away from consuming routine.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with the latest equipment. Happy with them since 2010. Great team at QVS. In particular Tion and Djovani are superb ambassadors for Fitness First and make me feel welcome and at home every day. I also value their excellent tips to mix gym routine up. Great motivators to keep going and push for more. Very happy and so happy to be back for good after some breaks.

Delia’s Exceed class is a stand out session, amongst numerous great classes on offer, that are highly energetic. Felicia, Djovany and the team are always very welcoming and supportive in an excellent gym with all the equipment you need.

Fantastic experience: I joined Fitness First QVS in September after a long lay off from exercising. I felt a little apprehensive as I am some what overweight (at least I was). The team put all those fears at ease from day one. Shafayek made the sign up process so simple and easy. I really have to include a very special thanks to Delia who has been so welcoming, friendly but professional at the same time, nothing is too much trouble for her and she is always there with help and advice if needed. I am also working one to one with Grace (one of the trainers) who is simple amazing. I am already seeing fantastic results and I would recommend her to anyone. The gym is always spotless and the equipment is always in good working order. The whole team are so so friendly and nice, makes me want to get up and go to the gym everyday. Thank you to Delia and the rest of the team.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of fitness first since 2001, paid every month, but hardly ever used their gyms until May 2021 at Queen Victoria Street...mostly because it was nearest to my work place. Since then I have been going to the gym atleast 3 times a week consistently due to the professionalism of the staff. Tino has built a very positive environment, I now look forward to going to the gym.

Positive experience: Never too full, even at rush hours. Maybe consider offering an extra towel for those going to some high intensity classes; e.g. spin.

Negative experience: Things are going downhill again. No air con the whole summer and there is a colony of mosquitoes living in the shower area for the last two months. Not good.

Positive experience: Got a 3 week pass here when I was staying nearby. The workout space is fairly small, but the equipment is in good shape. Hours are good if you only intend to use it on work days. Fairly crowded in there morning, I can only imagine it's worse in the evenings. I wouldn't choose it as my primary gym based on the size alone.

Negative experience: Don’t ever join this gym!!!! Before joining the gym I asked the team how it worked in case I had to terminate the contract as I have Multiple Sclerosis which a serious incurable chronic condition and they told me several reasons I could terminate my membership. Well, I had a serious crisis a couple of months ago and my condition right now is critical with doctors in the UK wanting to put me through a chemotherapy treatment for which I would need to stay three months in isolation as I could get any small infection and there is a death rate of 2%. I decided to look for a second opinion in my home country: Brazil and after my parents talked with a neurologist there, I decided to resign from my job in the UK and fly back for treatment. The thing is, if you ever tried to buy an oversea ticket with luggage included you know that a single ticket is some time even more expensive than two ways. So people buy tickets wit return and do not use the way back. I did that when I came to the UK in th first place. Because of not having a single ticket the gym simply does not accept my request for termination. Even though I sent letter from my employee stating the termination of my job/contract/visa and my doctor stating my latest crisis and possible treatments. I am right now crying out loud without an idea of what to do. All other companies I have link to completely understood my situation and that tomorrow I may be in a wheelchair forever if I don’t seek help but DW is heartless.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love each of my training sessions "step aerobics" with Olga. Her choreographies are an amazing workout. She is a very good instructor who knows how to motivate us also. Thank you Olga

Fantastic experience: One of the better FF. Good size, good free weights room, 2 squat racks, plenty of cardio equipment, assault bike, ski erg, 2 concept rowers. Dead in the afternoons after 2pm.
