Fantastic experience: The centre has a reasonably priced cafe a library and a swimming pool and gym. If you have an East Riding bus pass you can get a reduction in the food prices

Fantastic experience: Great pool, learner pool and main pool. Took the grandchildren in half term. Clean and tidy. Box of toys for the learner pool which encouraged the kids to swim . Was timed due to half term,but we had enough time to fully enjoy.

Positive experience: The leisure centre itself is lovely and the communal areas are clean, staff are helpful and friendly. I just can't fathom why people are not prevented from wearing outdoor shoes in the swimming changing areas. During swimming lessons virtually all parents were wearing their outdoor shoes while in the shower area and at the poolside entrance.

From.tje council to the lobafy to reception to leauire center staff as well. But the cafe staff make you feel so welcome.

Positive experience: What a lovely day out if you are in the area. A nice little town with parking on the streets for free if you are willing to walk a bit, or pay in the closest carparks. A couple of small cafés by the beach for fish and chips. The beach is split into "bays" to keep the sand in. Some pebbles and grit at the top half of the central bays. A little bit painful to cross, but nice sand towards and in the waterline. Sea is quite shallow until quite a long way out, so extremely safe for younger children to play in. Lifeguards were on hand in the middle sections and seemed quite attentive. The tide does come in very quickly, it is worth timing the visit for lower tide. The waves were quite high along the beach, so good for a little bit of body-boarding. Overall, there is a very nice feel for this town, it is quite open, without lots of concrete everywhere. An easy walk to the shops and a nice promenade.

Negative experience: Swimming pool was lovely, but were changing rooms where steam room was, the floors were filthy

Positive experience: We were in Hornsea, and passed the leisure centre, but never went inside. However, there is adeqate parking, and people were having drinks outside. It looks to be a great facility.

Really pleased they have become dog friendly in the cafe. Handy having the library in the same place. Parking is free if you use the facilities which is a bonus.

Fantastic experience: We nip in for coffee and cake regularly. It's great coffee with a selection of light bites and cakes. Would love to use the swimming pool at some point. It's always been clean, including the toilets. Staff have always been friendly and polite. I like to grab a takeaway coffee sometime too.

Fantastic experience: It's a quiet place but very homely. sulavans chippy is a must either eating in or takeaway.Hornsea is at the end of the transpenine trail which leads 200+ miles to the west coast and Southport.You have the potteries nearby and the town it's a full day out.well worth a visit lots of parking free and payable.

Fantastic experience: Gym showers are hot, but air temperature is freezing. Also, why do the cleaners mop the floors first thing?. The pool showers are dryer in a morning! There is nowhere to put your bag as all the floors are soaked. Husband even showers at home now as always a female cleaner in there every morning....

Negative experience: Drove from hull to swim after trying to get through on the phone for 20minites for it to just keep saying "look online for times for the pool".. online said adult free swim was until 1. We arrived today 10.35am to find out pool closes at 11. And told "website isn't updated" Ridiculous!! Avoid.

Positive experience: Decent cafe attached to the Leisure Centre on the seafront! Quirky staff! Range of snacks, desserts, hot & cold drinks, indoor & outdoor seating. Needs to invest in teapots!

Negative experience: Have been taking my under 2 yr old swimming the last few months, recently in august the reception staff I noticed have been different to normal and have been so unwelcoming, rude and unpleasant. Basic customer service doesn’t seem to exist with these two, who’d be perfect as a GP receptionist. No ‘hello’, no ‘thank you’, nothing. They act like any customer is an inconvenience. I experienced them be extremely rude to the customer in front, almost berating them about wanting to go swimming half way through a public session. They didn’t like that this customer only wanted to go for a short swim and made them leave and come back later. I then encountered the same attitude. Totally unwelcoming. I came back the following week and they were there again, still unpleasant and rude. What a shame both experience have been ruined by a pair of obnoxious jobsworths. All the other staff were kind, smiling and pleasant. The facilities are great and opening time are really good. It’s a good facility, let down by the two front facing staff. The first experience you get is them, shame.

Fantastic experience: Arrrr mateys, I recently visited the Hornsea Leisure Centre and let me tell ye, it be a true treasure of a find. First, I headed to the cafe for some grub. The food be delicious and the service be top-notch. I even overheard the staff talking about their plan to make all their dishes vegan-friendly, which be good news for us landlubbers who be trying to stay healthy. After I finished my meal, I headed to the pool for a swim. The water be crystal clear and the facilities be well-maintained. I even spotted a couple of mermaids splashing about in the deep end. But the real treasure of the day be the squash courts. I played a few rounds with me mateys and let me tell ye, we had a blast. The courts be in top condition and the staff be friendly and helpful. All in all, the Hornsea Leisure Centre be a great place to hang yer hat for a day of fun and adventure. So if ye be in the area, make sure to swing by and see what treasures await ye.

Negative experience: Staff unprofessional and rude ,cleaners are always around you in the gym washing the floor with chemical based solutions and not a pleasant experience when you are trainand smelling the chemicals while you training and you breathe deeper then normal.
