Positive experience: Another disappointing park plaza experience. This was an attempt, after a recent negative review for another hotel in the group, to see if the chain could redeem itself but, alas… save for a handful of committed staff who are trying really hard to create a positive customer experience, the owners/management need to question their interest in the hospitality industry…. Rooms & decor are tired, response to queries and/or complaints was nowhere near dynamic or efficient. The level of dirt takes weeks to build up - this is not dirt simply left over from the previous tenant; when the infrastructure is old and tired… it’s impossible to clean effectively. Our friends complained about a wet carpet on arrival (3pm) due, again, to tired decor and poor maintenance allowing seepage of water from the shower, beneath the door and onto the carpet beyond.. the room smelled of damp & mould (a health hazard to anyone with sensitivity to aspergillus niger) and was uninhabitable. When we returned to the hotel just before midnight, nothing had been done to correct the matter. No offer of a room change; we were told that there was no room to move to… Undeterred, our companions insisted that something be done and suddenly, there was a room available. They were eventually moved around midnight, reluctantly!!!

Negative experience: More UK plug sockets needed in the public area between reception and the bar - at least one socket per table, and multiple around the edges. At present, there only seemed to be one or two sockets throughout the entire area!

Positive experience: Lovely hotel and once you’re in it is pretty accessible. Main door didn’t include access buttons to open the doors for disabled people and breakfast area was fairly congested to navigate. I would stay again as rooms and lifts were easy to access, and staff were really nice.

Positive experience: Nice hotel but the rooms are a bit dated and lacking in maintenance ( we stayed in a superior king room ) The real let down was communication, I emailed the hotel on 3 separate occasions prior to our stay and did not receive a single reply to any of them. The saving grace was the fantastic breakfast, smoked mackerel, Stilton, salad as well as a perfectly cooked full English Breakfast and an abundance of fruit. Would I stay here again ? Yes I probably would, however, there are better hotels within the Park Plaza group.

Positive experience: I stayed a week here for a business trip, i rarely spent my time in the hotel. I arrived at the hotel very early around 9am, was greeted by Florentina, she was so accommodating to let me entering the room before the checkin time. Breakfast was lovely and effective. Improvement needed is by the lounge, I was sitting at the lounge wishing to have dinner, I saw three people by the bar, no one approached me or asked if I need something. after 15 minutes i decided to leave and went outside. Overall, it was a good hotel to stay in. Thank you

Negative experience: Would not recommend, especially for the price point. Negatives: - We got a relatively newly renovated room, but all furniture were tired. Some of the shelves were torn apart on the inside and could no longer be used. - Room was poorly lit with lights in weird locations. Eg there were no lights near the mirrors. Room was quite dark with lights that would turn off on random occasions. - Bed is overdue for a change and you can feel the imprint of people who had slept in the bed before. - Showers were poorly designed with a lack of lighting. The water would also overflowed out of the shower and into the main room. - Service at reception was poor and virtually non existent. They will forget the requests you have made without providing an update, and will later blame it on their eco program. Remember to never sign up for the eco program. - We requested for dental kits on 4 separate days, but none of the requests were fulfilled. Most of the time they were forgotten and staff blamed it on a lack of kits. But escalating to their manager did the trick and they could magically find dental kits, which were delivered to our room within 1 minute. - Cleanliness of the room was disgusting. There were clumps of hair from the previous stay, which were there even after house keeping had completed service for several days. - We were 3 people in the room, but the room was constantly only set up for 2 people. We had to request for a third towel set on a daily basis. Positives: + Good location, right outside the rear gate of Victoria train station. But beware of homeless people camping right outside the hotel.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience at this hotel. I travel all the time for work and this was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at. Be very careful booking here. - very rude service, felt borderline racist. - air conditioning didn’t work and had to ask multiple times until they finally fixed it. - breakfast was awful. Very stale food. - refused to drop laundry to my room. - nonstop construction would wake me up. - no food/beverages in minibar.

Negative experience: The front table told us that if we don’t need room cleaning we can have a voucher but when we want to use the voucher the hotel told us it’s only for alcohol past 2pm, highly NOT recommended

Positive experience: Nice hotel, clean and well kept! Nice staff for the most part, a bit dated in the rooms and they were a bit dark and had kinda weird lighting. Glass for a bathroom door was a bit strange. We enjoyed our stay though!

Positive experience: At check-in, Oksana was quick to take care of us and was amazing. While the staff has been lovely, the rest leaves something to be desired. We are paying 4 star prices for a 2 star hotel. We have been bothered by the renovation noise that seems to be happening all around our room. The room we were giving needs desperately to be updated as well. The shower head does not move, the water leaks out onto the floor and is a bit on the small side. The mattress needs to be replaced and possibly the frame as well. The toilet is low to the ground and may or may not flush when you push the handle.

Negative experience: I stayed at this hotel due to its convenient location, but unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The rooms were outdated, and there wasn’t even a minibar. To make matters worse, the fridge was completely empty—not even a complimentary bottle of water provided. When I went down to the reception at 8 a.m. to ask for some water, I was told none was available at reception and that I should go to the bar. The bar, however, was closed with a sign indicating it would only open at 9 a.m. I was left speechless, especially as I needed water to take my medication. Thankfully, a kind staff member in the restaurant helped me out. The coffee in the bar was terrible, likely made from the cheapest beans available. To top it all off, I was rudely woken up at 7 a.m. by room service, even though I wasn’t due to check out that morning. I’ve never encountered room service disturbing guests so early on a non-checkout day. I cannot understand how this hotel has a 4-star rating; it wouldn’t even deserve 3 stars in my opinion. While the location is great, there are plenty of hotels in London near underground stations and central spots, so I definitely won’t be staying here again.

Negative experience: Warning this hotel is a bloody construction zone. I’ve been staying here for the last three or four months and every time I wake up to drilling that is intense and loud. I can hear it even with earplugs. The only reason I stay here is that my company books the rooms on our behalf. Stay away until the construction project is completed.

Fantastic experience: The park plaza is a real find close to the city center with easy access to major attractions nearby and excellent public transportation options. The hotel offers great amenities and the Tozi Italian restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The service is amazing and the staff are very attentive. I especially want to call out Oksana for going above and beyond to help us while we're traveling with a toddler. Really a memorable stay.

Positive experience: it's ok, I was given a room with disability facilities which was unnecessary, shelf in bathroom was hanging off suggesting maintenance procedures need reviewing. Room and breakfast similar to Premier Inn standard, but twice the price

Fantastic experience: Nice hotel in a great central location. We arrived early and were able to check in which was greatly appreciated. There was a lot of construction during our visit so the buses weren't operating normal routes. We were offered to forgo house cleaning for 3days in exchange for $30 towards the restaurant. You still get fresh towels, tea and such so we accepted. The rooms were clean and the shower had rainfall and handheld option with solid pressure. The whole room can be controlled by bedside controls which was a great touch. The hotels in London can be quite expensive, this was great value and great accommodations. I would stay again.

Positive experience: I stayed at Park Plaza Victoria for five nights and appreciated their flexibility with an early check-in on a Monday morning. If you plan to stay here, I recommend requesting a room with a newly renovated bathroom, as I was given a room with an older one, possibly due to my early check-in. One thing to note: drinking water, slippers, and amenities are not provided by default in the rooms, so you’ll need to request them from room service. On the bright side, the staff is friendly and accommodating. However, one evening I ran out of water and was unable to reach room service. When I called the front desk, I was informed—rather abruptly—that drinking water was not provided, and I would need to go to the bar to purchase it. This came as a surprise, especially since room service had provided two bottles the night before. Despite explaining this to the front desk staff, I was met with a dismissive response: "I don't know who that was, but we do not provide drinking water." For a hotel where I paid over US$2,000, the lack of basic hospitality, like complimentary water, was frustrating. Notwithstanding the abovementioned unpleasant experience, I want to give special thanks to Mash, the concierge, who was exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to ensure my chauffeur service to Heathrow, which was running late, was sorted out promptly.

Positive experience: A well located Hotel in the Victoria area. Room was a little tired and facilities needed updating. Plug socket for my shaver did not work and the hot water was slow to come on. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was reasonable.

On their first floor they even had a room where the kids could unwind and get some energy out playing. The rooms were very accommodating to our large family. Oksana especially was amazing. Every time she saw us she was very warm and so friendly to not only myself, but our kids too. Because of Oksana and the team we will make the Park Plaza Victoria where we will stay when back in London!

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely experience at the Park Plaza Victoria. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and approachable staff. A special mention to Oksana, who checked us in with a smile and even gave us a complimentary upgrade. It was a nice touch and really got our stay off to a great start. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed with some tech features which controlled blinds, AC and lighting. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices to set us up for the day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was great. The only slight downside was the lighting in the room. It was a bit dim, which I assume was intended to create a relaxed atmosphere. However, due to the location of our room, it didn’t get much natural sunlight, which made it a little tricky when getting ready for a night out. But honestly, this was a minor issue in what was otherwise a great stay. We’d definitely stay at the Park Plaza Victoria again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the area!

Negative experience: I used to stay always in this hotel for my business trips but today I had the worst experience I have ever had. They gave me a really small and awful room this time when Everytime in the past they gave spacious one. The rooms were really big in the past, I don't understand what happened now but they mentioned they don’t have other rooms available so I had to made the check out and look for another hotel.

Negative experience: This was - by far - the worse hotel/experience in London. The rooms were meant to be renovated and we had construction on our floor with construction workers walking by our room every morning. We checked in to dirty rooms that smelled like a construction site. The front desk staff were incompetent and unprofessional and unable to address any of our requests (which included helping with baggage in the morning and making sure our rooms were not smelly). This hotel is a 2 star hotel at best. Do yourself a favor and save your money, don’t book here.

Fantastic experience: Lovely modern hotel. Great view from our room on 7th floor over London. Good bar. Only issue was trying to get back in after a night out. We had to wait for someone to leave to unlock the door.

Positive experience: Overall probably a good hotel for the price you pay. But I had a deal on the two rooms I booked so at full price it would be really expensive for what you get. Cons : - The corridors are getting old, I think they are redoing slowly some rooms. - The pillows are awful, the worst I ever got in any hotel. Wish I could hace bring mine but came to London in a plane so couldnt. - The AC is not really good, the room was hot everytime we came in after a long day. And it was not really hot outside. - We have a terrasse with a door, but we can't open the door or access it which is sad. The door is locked but we still can hear outside like it was open, so it is not really soundproof. Pros : - Well located - enough space in room - our bathroom was renovated but the other room we had not. - Nice lobby - Very good breakfast but not cheap

Fantastic experience: Very good city hotel, location is the best near Victoria station so we navigated across London and UK smoothly. Clean, comfortable, proper size of room, polite staff. The only remark that I might be having is variety of food for breakfast, but again this is UK and it is traditional British breakfast.

Negative experience: Was put in a floor totally under construction. Tarps every where, construction drilling by 8am. I aaked to get moved and was told 3 different days management that could review was not in. Got 10%off applied to my trouble. Totally unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Best hotel so far for our stay 10 days in UK! I would like to give them 100 stars for their service! I arrived quite late 10.00 pm. Was the last one to check-in that night. I entered the door and the staff at the front desk smile nicely and ask if I am….*my name…* was very warmth welcoming impression! When we arrived the room the sofa bed was prepared( I requested if they have twin option for one room) but I think they did not, since I did not book it as twin in the first place so the hotel could just refuse. They did beyond to service us by prepare the sofa bed with all bedding equips. Check-in and check-out was quick. 3 persons + 1 manager available during peak hours The room was very big and luxurious! The bed was also very comfortable and relaxed after my long road trip

Fantastic experience: I went to watch a football game at the bar. Although extremely busy, the staff did a great job looking after us. Excellent cuisine and service. The atmosphere was electric, with fans from all sides enjoying the game together. The bar had a fantastic selection of drinks, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We never had to wait long for our orders, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The overall experience was amazing, and I can't wait to come back for another game. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: It was a wonderful 3-nights stay in Park Plaza Viktoria. Very convenient location, especially of coming from Gatwick airport; walikung distance to House of Parliament, Royal palace ; very clise to Viktoria underground station. Hotel nice - modern and fresh; specious rooms. It was a pleasure to meet Oksana in the reception on both arrival and departure day - we appreciate friendly conversations and a lot of useful advice . Will definately stay here again and will recommend to our friends .

Fantastic experience: We arrived and were greeted by Oksana, she managed to accommodate us even though we were early for our check in. She was really helpful, polite and really accommodating. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic experience: I arrived on an early flight from the US. Oksana at reception was very kind and let me use the excellent gym (with showers and lockers!) while waiting for my room to open. I was able to access my room several hours early, which was really valuable to me. Many thanks to Oksana.

Fantastic experience: Great location and breakfast, good room sizes. Oksana at reception, Robert and Rodrigo at concierge were really helpful and welcoming. Staff at breakfast and housekeeping also made our stay comfortable. Would certainly stay again when we visit London.
