Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly and welcoming staff. The only downside is the single track road which opens from a main road. An accident waiting to happen as it's also the entrance to the school.

Fantastic experience: Been at a few different fitness classes recently, all the instructors are great but must give a special mention for the tireless and enthusiastic support Ian Thompson gives to all members of his classes. He never tires of tweaking technique and generally helping everyone get the best from their session

Fantastic experience: Great pool friendly staff my only complaint is when pools quiet people ask for the lane to be put up and it takes awaypart of the pool should be only done if pools busy but it's the rule and it sucks

Positive experience: Used the sports centre for swimming. Top notch experience. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff on the reception. Large changing area for the pool, with toilets and individual cubicles for privacy. The cubicles aren't the biggest but they do the job. The lockers are large which was great to see and there were lots of them as well. You need a 10p to use them, but it is returned. Hairdryers charge 20p. The pool itself was clean and there was ample space for swimming without being crowded. The shallow end is very shallow and the deep end is deep. I kicked my feet on the shallow end sometimes when swimming, but a minor inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: Take my kids there all the time. Pool is warm and it's cheep. Brill value is a good place to take your kids. Not to busy.

Positive experience: The swimming pool here is great for young kids. Much warmer than any other council pool. Changing rooms and showers also nice an warm, even in the winter. Have only tried one council class, primary years football. It wasnt well organised and didn't progress much. Some coaches were okay, but one in particular just goofed off.

Fantastic experience: Only place in South Lanarkshire that has a fully functioning health suite. Yes it's a fuel cost to get there but only fully operational suite. Staff are so happy to help too

Fantastic experience: Nice quiet little pool for a swim. Changing areas are clean and well designed so the water runs away and doesn't pool at your feet, although the cubicles are quite small. Staff are friendly enough.

It has to be the most antiquated booking system I've ever come across. The big question is...who is the manager? Sort this out for the love of God , IT IS NOT DIFFICULT. Lol

Fantastic experience: I go to the leisure centre each and every morning , good relaxing experience and staff are friendly

Negative experience: Called 9th August 2019 to make sure inflatable pool session was on and the price in order that I could take my visiting granddaughters there, lady I spoke wirh confirmed inflatable session was on and the price. Took my granddaughters to the pool for this only to be told they could not go in as you have to book in advance ( never heard of this in any other pool). Told chap at the desk I had spoken with someone earlier and at no point did she mention that you had to book in advance or I would have certainly done so! 2 granddaughters very upset and in tears at not getting in to something they had been looking forward to since Thursday! Unfortunately I have to give 1 star as can't rate lower than that.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional staff, my family love this centre. We swim there every week, fantastic for younger children. Swim lessons are great and customer service is amazing.

Negative experience: Why do people leave their clothes in the only two parent and child changing rooms. Surely common sense must make you realise you are blocking it for others. Staff said just to remove items. Selfish attitude of the few making things inconvenient for others.

Negative experience: Nobody spoke to us when we came in!.. the young boy was engrossed with his computer screen!.. he never even acknowledged us while we wandered around!.. A lady (mother sitting with her child!) told us to just self swipe in!.. We had never been before! So we didnt know where to go.. Eventually found the pool entrance, then had to go back out in my costume as we didnt have 10p for the lockers! Notices up on the wall would help advice you of the locker charges! (Use to lockers being £1). Got in the pool, when 2 life guard's came over to inform us that the pool was closing for lessons!!!.... We hadnt even swam!!.. The life gaurd kindly offered us a pass to the sauna etc.. but while we sat in there a regular group of older men made us feel very unwelcome!.. Straight out... Won't be back.

Negative experience: Has two gym rooms, first room is which is for the paying customer is small cramped so small that it cant fit any decent equipment, and the equipment they do have is outdated, which you will spend half your workout waiting in a cue to get on!. 2nd room which is reserved for the school kids "non paying customers " is large airy has far more and advanced equipment and is more often than not empty! While all "customers"are cramped into the shoebox size room fighting over the dated equipment! All this on over priced membership subscriptions.
