Negative experience: Stupid minimum order prices (should be willing to help out small businesses not extortion)

Fantastic experience: This vendor not only has good prices but when I have asked they quickly furnished me with detailed COA's so I know the products are of the right quality. They have very responsive customer services. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Ich war längere Zeit Kunde bei Blackburn Distributions. Ich war mit den Produkte, sowie dem Kundenservice, sehr zufrieden. Habe viele Bestellungen bei Blackburn distributions aufgegeben. Ungefähr im Dezember, habe ich eine größere Bestellung aufgegeben, ich hatte Tongat Ali Extrakt, und ein paar andere Produkte bestellt. Kurz darauf wurde mir mitgeteilt, das Tongat Ali Extrakt unter die Novel Food Ordnung fällt, und das mir dieses Produkt nicht geliefert werden kann. Dafür hatte ich Verständnis, mir wurde daraufhin nach kurzer Zeit, das Geld zurück überwiesen. Als ich nachgeschaut habe, stellte ich allerdings fest, das mir über 80 Euro zu wenig zurück überwiesen wurden. Ich habe den Support deshalb mehrfach kontaktiert, mir wurde immer gesagt dass es an der Bank liegt, bzw. Dass bei Auslands Überweisungen, Gebühren anfallen. Das kann sein, aber über 80 Euro Gebühren, für eine Überweisung??? Das habe ich noch nie erlebt, und kann ich mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen. Ich bestelle viel im Ausland und meistens musste ich keine Gebühren oder nur sehr wenig Gebühren zahlen.... Naja, ist schon etwas etwas ärgerlich, 80 Euro sind für mich kein leicht verdientes Geld. Aber daran lässt sich jetzt auch nichts mehr ändern. Wollte diese Bewertung einfach abgeben, weil das mich seit längerer Zeit, noch immer etwas ärgert.

Fantastic experience: I always buy my calcium ascorbate powder from Blackburn Distributions. It is the non-acidic version of vitamin C so gentle on the stomach, and a teaspoon a day in diluted fruit juice has kept me healthy for years. Not many people sell this but Blackburn do and a large bag of the stuff lasts a long time.

Negative experience: Purchased 1kg Vitamin D powder but the shelf life was less than 6 months. Asked for refund or replacement and waited for 5 weeks for my refund. Several, calls, emails and a half day off work for collection for the item to be returned was frustrating. Very poor communication by this company. Poor product quality and even poorer follow up on order status. Will not use again!

Fantastic experience: Constantly impressed with the quality of products sold, as well as speed of delivery and customer service. I have been a customer for over 5 years now, and constantly refer back to Blackburn as my one stop first call shop - there is little that they can't source too! All certifications of HPLC analysis available if you ask too. Ignore those who say they can get cheaper elses where, it's unlikely to either be what it says it is (i.e. purity) Once you experience the Blackburn way, you'll never go back!
