Positive experience: The gym is smaller than you think, especially as they use other spaces for badminton, basketball and other courts. The changing rooms are good, but expect to have a shower without a booth! Good facilities, but okay gym overall.

Negative experience: Staff are disgustingly rude and parking is completely unacceptable. They also charge you for extra fees without explaining this upon signup. Absolutely horrifying, don’t bother.

Negative experience: They're called Everyone Active now. Honestly, the equipment and most of the gym is great but some of their staff members ability to handle basic customer complaints leaves something to be desired... Not only that but in just 1 month it's come to a total cost of over £90 which was not explained verbally in any of the sign-up processes. This was for a pre-cancelation fee upon sign-up, a sign-up fee, and a full months subscription payment... Absolutely atrocious. And then they have the audacity to to laugh at customers for explaining how they weren't informed of any of this, or the fact that the car-park is only free in the evenings. (Which they acknowledge is a problem but don't change the sign-up procedure to rectify the issue...) Absolutely horrendous attitude. Don't waist your time...

Fantastic experience: Love my exercise class. Gets the whole body moving to music.

Fantastic experience: Close to train / bus station. Has a car park for folks who don't see the irony in driving to the gym. Clean changing rooms, good range of activities.

Fantastic experience: It's called the Arts & Leisure Centre. Nice big leisure centre with 2 halls that cater for badminton. Changing rooms and toilets are clean. The entrance is a bit hard to find if you're arriving by train. The entrance is behind the building, coming from the station, so go over the footbridge, continue to go through the building, and go downstairs to the car park. It's on the ground floor. White doors and cream walls make it hard to see the shuttlecocks if you are playing badminton. Floor was patchy in some places.

Negative experience: Parking is a nightmare, have gone to the gym and had to come home many times due to not being able to get a parking space, badminton is always fully booked with people booking weeks in advance most of the time not even showing up so the courts are empty

Negative experience: Don’t even bother if you drive, parking is a joke and you will not get parked day or night

Negative experience: I was refered to stevenage lifestyles from my GP. Back in September i asked the receptionist to book me for a pay as you go gym. They took my card and setup a direct debit. I clearly mentioned it is pay as you go but i was not given correct information. They have charged me £22 something for 5 months and i didn't even go for single day because i knew it was just pay as you go. Infact we have moved out of stevenage and they are still charging. Very disappointed and wasted more than £100 which we will never get back. Advice for everyone, triple check before you book anything.

Negative experience: - Always find it difficult to get through to reception on the phone. - Seems their table tennis/badminton facilities are ALWAYS unavailable due to events taking place.

Fantastic experience: staff are nice and friendly, nice changing rooms with big lockers big enough to fit my motorcycle helmet and gear, just have to obviously bring your own lock. the actual gym it's self is looks abit tatty and worn but the import part the equipment is very good and clean.

Positive experience: If you are the fitness freak then this is the best place. You have plenty of options for the workout like Dance, Yoga, Badminton, Squash,Gym....

Negative experience: Staff at reception are mostly very friendly and smiley. The big problem they have is failing with basic cleaning and safety. This is a photo of the badminton court which is so slippery that I nearly fell. The liquid is presumably beer or soft drinks which have not been cleaned up. We have flagged it up numerous times but even the manager isn't really interested. When I was there last week a gentleman on the next court fell and hurt his leg. I imagine it will take a serious injury and law suit before they actually do anything.

Positive experience: Good covid hygiene, equipment well spaced and number of people monitored. Some equipment isn't always maintained e.g. not turning on, frozen or touch screen is all over the place / highlight that all the stations have TV radio etc but actually half of them don't get signal.. its not a snazzy gym but its definitely functional with friendly staff.

Better than the david Lloyd centre no snobby, poser making you feel self conscious. Instead a really relaxing, down to earth atmosphere. Fully air conditioned. Great opening hours.

Negative experience: Joined on the 15th of April, paid half of the April and charged me a full May even though I gave them a week notice. When I called today, the manager wasn't helpful at all and spoke very rudely. So I used the gym for 2 weeks but I paid for 6 weeks. Gyms like this shouldn't exist, they aren't customer focused but profit focused, save your money and AVOID this place!

Fantastic experience: Astonished how much I like this leisure centre. Came for a regional fencing match and really appreciated the (newly renovated?) changing rooms, pristine showers and rather snazzy water fountain. Looked to be a good gym. Spent most of the time in a large sports hall

Negative experience: Play squash. Two of the three courts have rubbish floors. Even if you have paid upfront for a court but don't come to play they take a no show fee. Disgusting

Fantastic experience: Great gym, excellent staff, lost 6lb in 2 weeks. Love claire, love zumba,squash and clubersize sunday morning's is a must. Please join this class as if we can't get enough people to join this class it will close. Refer me as a friend and i get a free month's membership lol. Thanks x
