Fantastic experience: Great place, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great classes with a really good flexibility on booking.
Negative experience: Much too busy, with the exception of PT instructor going by the name of goose, the staff don't seem to give a monkeys
Positive experience: Please give us more benches getting on the flat bench on a chest day is a myth.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant classes! Can 100% recommend Friendly atmosphere, and a safe environment to train. Stratton pure is in my mind is amazing
Negative experience: So disappointed. Over 100 people and 3 out 4 men's urinals indisposed. No 4G signal in the premises and no WiFi available (even tescos has WiFi for their customers), we're in 2024!

Positive experience: Been a member of pure gym over a year now. I use a few different ones around the uk. overall this is one of the better ones. Clean equipment and at the times i go there is plenty to choose from. They all seem to have the same problem as far as i can tell. Don’t know if the ladies have the same issue. The push button showers are literally always cold to luke warm and the toilets stink. Pure gym sort it out! You must be making enough money to turn the thermostat up on the hot water. Only way to get a hot shower is to use the disabled showers.

Fantastic experience: The church of gains Great way to boost your mind set for the day! You get out what you put in great array of equipment for all levels. Never too crowded. Better than my old gym for sure

Positive experience: 27/2/23 Yanga water machine still not working :(( 20/2/23 Smart water machine still not working! PLEASE FIX OR REPLACE THE SMART WATER MACHINE!!!!! Been coming here for over 2 years now but there’s always a issue with it which puts a downer on the gym sesh ahead of me. The kit is brilliant and good atmosphere but sometimes you struggle to get equipment availability. Love this place but FIX the smart water machine
Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere in the gym, staff are friendly and approachable, plenty of free parking and no grunting meat heads! What more could you ask for at £16 per month.
Fantastic experience: Excellent gym. Love the way you can go any time even as a lone female as you are protected by the pin and locked doors once inside. Great classes and very clean and the stations to wipe down your machines are really easy to use. Good tip: there is so much variety and so close together that it's good to research a workout as it's very hands off but that's fine for me. They do have PTs to hire which I may do once I'm closer to my goal weight :)

Positive experience: Very good gym, friendly atmosphere. Only problem is the changing rooms, mould all along the walls in the toilets, looks very bad and probably a health hazard!

Negative experience: Please do some work on the male changing room. The showers are disgustingly dirty. The walls are full of mould. I’m moving gyms until the changing rooms are fit to use again.
Hi Miqueias, Staff do regular cleaning checks in the gym and we have dedicated cleaning teams who come each day to carry out. Of course, during peak times it can be difficult for us to compete all cleaning routines, however as soon as it is possible our staff will complete all procedures and checks. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please speak with your Gym Manager.
Positive experience: Pure Stratton has a good range of equipment however the group classes are somewhat lacking in finesse

Fantastic experience: Another great gym session, not too busy but good atmosphere and able to get my workout done in good time. A useful addition to the equipment would be glute bridge / hip thrust machines - saw a couple of different options while using a Reading PureGym last week and would love to see them in Swindon - plenty of room to have a couple of options!!

Negative experience: Seems pretty soulless this gym. The staff are not really that friendly or helpful the times I have spoken to the staff about basic fitness and nutrition stuff they seem to not understand what I'm on about. Commercial gym with lots of kit but staff are very new to the industry and seem to focus on helping the unknowing part with cash on PT lessons. James Hunt ( Mens sports Physique coach and competitor)

Negative experience: Not a bad gym in a really good location. A fair price for what you get for your money. The main issue here is the air con is not turned up enough which means it’s always to hot to train. If this issue was addressed this gym would be 4*

Fantastic experience: Given the low price, I was very pleasantly surprised at how great this place is. I usually work out around 6.30am on weekdays, sometimes a bit later at the weekend, and never have problems finding the kit I want. There’s loads of benches and racks, and two sets of pretty much every dumbbell.

Fantastic experience: Was always nervous to join a gym but joining Pure was the best decision. Love the vibe and the space as well as the welcoming staff. One specific PT called Niamh is always smiling and very friendly, overall a great place to be.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Great equipment, people go to workout and focus on themselves, great place to train. Can get busy during peak times, but in general you can get your workout done without having to wait about as plenty of equipment.

Positive experience: Nice gym, my first day there, plenty of machines, however I wanted to use the showers but can’t- they are very open and in my opinion don’t allow much privacy. This is a issue due to my work schedule, being unable to shower at the gym.

Our gyms are usually busier at peak times between 5-8pm, you can always view the amount of people in the gym live via our PureGym app. If you are on a monthly membership, you could try transferring over to another site to see if that is better suited to your needs! Positive experience: A very affordable gym, very clean not too busy, easy access using your QR code, always plenty of parking spaces. The only issue I have is the very load music in the changing room, there is no need! I couldn't wait to get out of the changing room after my shower, it was so unrelaxing! Please turn it down. Thanks

Negative experience: Cheap and cheerful price and customer service matches this. I joined at £10.99 opening offer. Upgraded to included classes and found the ones I like fully booked so downgraded again and now being charged £19.99 even though current price is £14.99. 2 weeks customer service took to reply to say nothing they could do. Girl in the gym said just cancel member and rejoin so will be charged the £10 admin fee again too. Charming.

Positive experience: This gym is great there's plenty of parking. Friendly staff the changing rooms are clean ... only problem i got is the mirror's don't go all the way to the floor. So you can't keep an eye on your posture when you doing dumbbell press...

Positive experience: Getting busier now it's been open for a while. The app isn't always accurate on the amount of people at the gym. Good range of equipment which is laid out well and maintained so far.

Well equipped and built with the pandemic in mind rather than retrospectively adapted. Good changing facilities. A+ so far for the price.
