Positive experience: Very friendly and nice staff and was made to feel very welcome. Unfortunately, the gym is too small and compacted for it's purpose and the equipment looks quite old compared to others...

Negative experience: I don't recommend it to anyone, because you can't cancel the subscription, because they still want you to keep the direct debit! If you delete it, you can't access it any further, so you actually pay for the last month for free, which is a lot of money. The question is, why they still need you to keep DD ? They want to pay for another month?? Disgusting!

Negative experience: God forbid ever trying to cancel your contract at this place. Awful experience. Beware as they will forward your information on to debt collectors absolute joke, this was even after I had sent them a doctors note which is my confidential health information. Who do they think they are. Join a gym with no contract so much better without all the hassle. Never again.

Negative experience: Rude unhelpful staff. Often treadmills out of order leaving just 1 or 2. Awkwardly placed equipment layout. Online class timetable shows ‘Not Available’. On one occasion a young staff member was eating curry/ strong smelling lunch with their staff room door open- the smell travelled through the whole gym which made me & others feel quite queasy. They were completely oblivious as they were stood in the doorway, back facing us, gossiping and gobbling away. I couldn’t imagine eating a stinky lunch at my place of work especially a gym? Additionally not once has a staff member greeted me nor smiled, or said hello/ goodbye which is shocking especially since this gym isn’t exactly cheap. Often they just stand around chatting, or congregate in their staff rooms, and look absolutely miserable when they do glance up at you. I actually do not feel particularly welcome here. Unfortunately myself and other members feel this is not acceptable- please address this!

Positive experience: Very busy lately, but great gym.

Fantastic experience: I know this stuff is subjective but, having used the majority of gyms offered by the big names and some of the smaller ones I can honestly say this takes the cake...or protein bar...! The place is friendly and extremely well equipped. Downstairs you will find all the equipment you could possible want and a well spaced area for free weights. Upstairs there are more cardio machines and a great matted place to work on those abs/stretch etc. Upstairs also there is a studio where classes are held but if it's free anyone can use it. The staff are friendly and approachable and knew me by name before I ever met anyone - I like that personal touch. I have nothing negative to say -it ticks all the boxes.

Negative experience: Decent gym, equipment is alright for the size of the place however there is not enough if the gym is remotely busy. On the whole, the staff are very friendly, although the manager, Tom, is the furthest thing from friendly, helpful or understanding. As a company there seems to be little to no interest in the needs of the customer, and rather they seem to be only interested in taking your money, e.g I was told I’d have to pay £10 for a FOB that was stolen while I was training. Once subscribed you literally cannot cancel your membership, and any late payments whatsoever result in a £12 late payment fee that will not be removed regardless of your circumstances (i was in between jobs personally). After over a year of being a member, and being a member at many other gyms in the past, this is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I’d strongly recommend another gym, as there are plenty in the area that actually value your membership.

Negative experience: Free parking is limited. Only 1 rack or weights which makes it too busy. Cheaper gyms out there with more equipment.

Fantastic experience: Great Local Gym, super friendly staff and modern equipment as well as great classes. I do personal training sessions with Chester which I really enjoy to help me reach my fitness goals. Having the flexibility to train 24/7 is also a great benefit. I also travel across the country frequently with my job, so being able to use my membership at other anytime fitness clubs across the UK is a great perk for me. I have been a member with anytime fitness since 2018 and have no plans of changing anytime soon!

Fantastic experience: Good variety of equipment, a few different cardio machines and multiple of each and several weight machines as well as squat racks, barbells and multiple benches. Being an anytime fitness gym is obviously great to as it's open 24/7 as the name suggests. Great place

Fantastic experience: Joined not long after I moved to Wellington almost 2 years ago. It is a well run gym open, as the name suggests 24 hours 7 days a week The staff are friendly and attentive can give advice and help with gym routines. All the equipment is top of the range and well looked after.

Fantastic experience: Clean, roomy and good equipment. Everything that new build your grandma moved into doesn't have.

Fantastic experience: Cracking gym with 24hr access

Negative experience: Awful gym to try and cancel the contract. I and others have all had similar disputes how they continue to charge after the contract and then proceed to send court letters. My contract ended so I stopped the DD and they sent me a letter 3 months later saying I'm due a court date for the last three months... Much, much more better gyms in Wellington.

Negative experience: Horrendous place. Cancelled my membership with a month's notice and the manager is trying to get me to pay and extra month despite not having access to the gym. The manager hasn't answered any of my recent emails I have sent to resolve these issues.The manager Tom, is not professional and uses bullying and threatening text messages to try and get what he wants. DON'T JOIN you will regret it. There are much better gyms around for the same price.

Fantastic experience: Really nice gym, modern equipment, very nice bathrooms, no sauna/swimming pool though but the price is good for gym/ showers only. Perfect temperature all year round which is one of my favourite features

Negative experience: Would not recommend to use this gym ever or if you do remember to follow the correct procedure on cancelling otherwise you will be stung. Phoned up to cancel monthly contract emailed them also although they are saying strangely enough they did not receive! Although they knew I had cancelled the direct debit and phoned them followed up with email so did everything they wanted still got stung for over £100 ! Disgusting way of treating customers so beware all new gym lovers don’t be fooled! Will not recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Stung me for over £100 when I tried to cancel. I cancelled my direct debit during lockdown as they were closed. When they reopened a family member suffered a heart attack so didn't want to Jeopardise their health by going to a busy gym. They showed no compassion and carried on with the charges, despite the fact I'd been a member over two years, never missed a payment and was on a 1 month rolling contract. There are better gyms.

Fantastic experience: Keep up the great work during these difficult times! A clean gym with good COVID plans in place. Well equipped and maintained. They have also been very good and fair to their members during both lockdowns in terms of membership costs and pausing or offsetting months. Well done ATF team Wellington!

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout, very good information and help from a very competent staff.

Fantastic experience: This gym is open 24/7. It's not staffed all the time, but is is for a large part of the day. If you're a night owl, or prefer to do your exercising late then this is the place. Despite Covid restrictions there is everything you could need as far as gym equipment is concerned as well as a studio. There is plenty of de-sanitising material to hand, too, so you can be assured you have what you need to feel safe.
