Our brand new Soft Play adventure area is designed for children aged 0 – 7 years and covers 3 floors of slides, obstacles, climbing, tunnels and open play areas.

We are now accepting Winter Block Booking requests, however, due to the high volume of enquiries that we are receiving it may take up to 14 working days to administrate your request.

- Friendly and helpful staff who enhance the overall experience.
- A broad range of classes and activities, from tennis to football and more.

Bidston Sports and Activity Centre: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Kids soft play during term time really well priced and pretty quiet so ur kids can have a good play and explore. 3 levels to play on, couple of different slides my daughter who's 2 and a half loves it and so does dad lol. Well worth the money atm! Don't know how busy it is during school holidays tho x
Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities and lovely staff couldn't do enough for me really helpful tennis football and so much more
Fantastic experience: Brilliant fun and not to busy. Great value
Fantastic experience: Funny place for the kids
Fantastic experience: Great place, they all are
Fantastic experience: Good range of classes, gym is small but you are always able to use the machines without a wait. Staff friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: Great place for footy and other sports. Massive place, loads of car parking, cafe too.
Negative experience: They make up prices at the door. I took my baby for soft play. I called the helpline before going and was told to just arrive. She's under 1 so the website clearly states it's free. The man at the door asked for a £3 entry fee. I told him on the website it stated it would be free, he checked with his manager, who flippantly said in front of me "Just charge the £3 anyway"! I raised this with him a couple more times until it just became awkward. I'd driven there specifically for soft play so paid the £3. I called the office and they issued the refund (not yet in my account). The soft play had nothing for her, so we just left. Even at the office where they acknowledged I was charged incorrectly, they didn't apologise for randomly being targeted to pay more.
Fantastic experience: Nice place, friendly staff and a lot to do.
Fantastic experience: Great friendly staff. Love the Tuesday circuits class with Emma. Great gym as well
Fantastic experience: Great staff and great place to grab a coffee and a burger x
Fantastic experience: Nice gym, bit of a strange layout if you want to do Ropes or some circuit training but the machines are all new and plenty of free weights and benchs. Free parking and a cafe there as well. For me invigor8 memberships are hard to beat. Try it out
Positive experience: Great welcome. Visited coffee shop. Good price and great choice. Area clean. Children love the ball park. Would recommend.
Positive experience: The kids' activities are great. Very clean, safe, and affordable. The only negative thing is the food and drink service. On my first visit, I waited for over an hour for two toastes only to be told they had misplaced my order. It took the full 2 hour visit from waiting in a slow line to order up until my food finally arrived. On my second visit, I waited 20 minutes to order food. After 30 minutes, the food came out. I realised I had missed a round of toast for my 1 year old. When I went up to order it, I was told it would be an hour minimum before it came out. I understand that they can be busy, but for a strictly light bite menu, an hour wait seems very extreme. Staff are very friendly but definitely not equipped enough to handle busy periods.
Negative experience: Tennis courts are not in great condition, nets separating the courts don't reach the full length so balls disappear on to other courts or just out the door. One court has a crater under the surface that makes hitting a ball into it or running across it an "interesting" experience, if it gets any worse it could cause an injury. Lots of money spent here, unfortunately none of it on the tennis courts.
Negative experience: Spinning studio needs trainer microphone to understand what's she's shouting above the music.
Fantastic experience: Highly Highly recommend a visit
Fantastic experience: Have been twice to the soft play with 4 yr old and 2 yr old. Very clean and lovely friendly staff. I like the fact that the play area is over 3 floors and large seating area where you can pretty much see kids at all times. Our new favourite. My only negative is that it is £6.50 for all age children, I think younger ones should be cheaper, like other soft plays, but that’s just my opinion and being a bit stingey I suppose
Positive experience: Seems like a decent place with loads of activities. Footy pitches and tennis courts aplenty
Fantastic experience: This venue has been refurbished to a high standard with a state of the art gym, amazing play area and cafe but essentially has retained indoor courts. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Positive experience: Visited the new Tag adventure arena great for the kids and really good price. Food was also fairly priced just a pity it wasn’t the best, very limited and basically just cheap food.

Fantastic experience: Great location staff are the best. Equipment and facilities could be better. Aerobic classes need to be introduced back onto the timetable.

Positive experience: A great venue for your tennis throughout the year six full sized indoor tennis courts and also outside courts . So you can enjoy your tennis all the year round.
Fantastic experience: Easy access and accommodate wheelchair tennis at this facility
Fantastic experience: Great family fun love this place
Negative experience: I went to cancel my membership and was getting pressured to keep it and for over 40 minutes the girl kept me at the desk and was asking why.... I suffer with mental health and felt so pressured Infront of people... I should not have to explain why and I should not be made to feel uncomfortable...
Fantastic experience: Free parking and great for football as well as tennis
Fantastic experience: It's a fantastic offer for Wirral residents. First class indoor tennis courts and training. Plus there are other training sessions on offer which are always fully booked.
Fantastic experience: Really good place to go and get yourself fit
Positive experience: Play football regularly, good value, but nets on football courts need fixing as we lose valuable time when the ball disappears through the holes!
Fantastic experience: Great place for all sorts, but love playing tennis here as it's well maintained
Fantastic experience: Nice Place Excellent Service Football Pitch Should Be Cleared Of Goal Nets That Have NOTHING To Do With Open Age Football Games Does Distract From Taking Photos
Fantastic experience: Quiet gym with reasonable amount of machines etc
Fantastic experience: Brilliant for indoor tennis and outdoor 5 a side football.
Positive experience: Receptionist was brilliant... really helpful in getting my membership set up...fast friendly service....
Fantastic experience: One of the best indoor tennis facilities you can access.
Fantastic experience: Great venue
Positive experience: Good
Negative experience: Good facilities poor maintained. Goals chained to fences stopping proper usage and h&s issues with outdoor changing rooms.
Fantastic experience: Although the facilities are not state of art, the staff are brilliant.
Positive experience: If you like tennis
Fantastic experience: Brilliant place love it
Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities.
Fantastic experience: Great place, very clean and greatly improved over last few months got some reason and staff seem happy
Fantastic experience: great cardio on Saturdays
Fantastic experience: Alkind of sports to do here tennis football drinks machines hot and cold
Fantastic experience: Gym is smallish but has the equipment I need. Excellent badminton courts. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Positive experience: Staff friendly, and facilities are clean and good.
Positive experience: Good facility !!
Fantastic experience: Lots to do for big and small great staff and people
Positive experience: Good atmosphere with friendly people
Positive experience: Review of football facilities only**! New (ish) type of artificial grass pitches within the 5a side cages. Surface is fine but if you take a tumble it feels like it's been laid straight onto concrete!!! Massively painful with the added but expected friction burns. I won't be rushing back to play
Fantastic experience: Footy
Positive experience: Excellent facilities
Fantastic experience: Fantastic judo class every Saturday morning
Fantastic experience: Love this place .
Fantastic experience: Love it
Positive experience: This place has 6 indoor tennis courts, 6 3g 5 a side courts, one full size football Or 3 large 4g pitches, a 34 station gym, e badminton court's, a 22 bike spinning studio and a number of keep fit classes. They offer tennis lessons for adults and kid's. It has wheelchair access. All in all a great place, I didn't give it 5 star's as some of the changing rooms need some updating.
Positive experience: Yoga is great here
Positive experience: Decent 4g football pitches and plenty of car parking. Some of the indoor tennis courts now house gym equipment
Fantastic experience: Insane value if you play a lot of tennis, for £18.5 a month you get unlimited off peak (10am-4pm weekdays, all day weekend) indoor and outdoor tennis, access to municipal gyms and pools across Wirral and also exercise classes. Courts are in good condition, well illuminated and has decent viewing area, only thing missing is perhaps a bench on the side of the court. Courts are on the slower side among hard courts if you are into that.
Fantastic experience: Great facilities
Positive experience: Great that council provides this site but cafe now closed and nets ripped on goals.
Positive experience: Good facilities and friendly family attitude
Fantastic experience: tennis for people to play
Fantastic experience: Took our little girl for a go. She's got the attention span of a puppy so I don't think we are looking at the next Wimbledon pro, but the coach and facilities were excellent.
Positive experience: Brilliant football pitches. But getting double booked and booking organisation is shocking.
