Fantastic experience: Great venue for an indoor tennis exhibition tournament! Perfect size arena for small ball games. Good facility and friendly staffs.

Fred Carter 9 months ago

Positive experience: Great venue. Food choices standard stadium/event going. Beer okay.

Morenike Folorunsho 9 months ago

Positive experience: I came to Copper Box Arena for the first time to watch a basketball game. The venue itself was okay, the seating was a bit confusing as it is not labelled clearly so many of us just sat where we wanted. The drink options were pretty limited especially for those who aren’t alcohol drinkers. There was a food area but I didn’t visit that section. Please note all drink must be drunk from a plastic cup - so can drinks are decanted into this cup. Fair event and atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Small arena, the process for the sports events is quick and efficient and the view is good from almost any spot

Carol Blyth 9 months ago

Negative experience: Was referred through physio. Just did floor exercises over two sessions. Wasn’t impressed as on first session no one was watching us do the exercises and advising if they were not being carried out correctly. On last session there was a man going round to each person and giving advice!!! Overall not impressed with any of the physio sessions apart from the first where I was assessed. Really needs looking at carefully. Could end up doing more damage than good !!

Fantastic experience: Tennis game very good

Pathorkuchimon 9 months ago

Negative experience: Always car park closed. Bad transport as well. And just way too many people. They need to either stop taking people or make a freaking rule to not use phone during workouts. People has nowhere to go will just sit on the machines and be using their damn phone.

Fantastic experience: We went to watch basketball last Thursday evening, fantastic venue, really helpful staff, super tasty food! Strongly recommend the spiced potato wedges! Great venue, amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

GEORGIOS ADAMAKOS 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: The arena is really good. No box office available which can be an issue if there is somwthing wrong with the tickets. The surrounding area is not as developed as I would have hoped.

Negative experience: in the gym men's changing room smells bad for a long time, or it is not cleaned with detergents or there is a problems with the sewage system

Positive experience: staff weren’t helpful arena is lovely though

Positive experience: Great night of Boxing! However what was missing was the so-called VIP treatment in which I didn't get to experience the VIP Bar. I was informed before the main event that it was closed and had to quickly queue up to buy a drink before the main event started. Not all Stewards seemed to know where the VIP Bar was.

Luke Manhattan 10 months ago

Positive experience: Went here for the boxing, the venue itself is amazing. You won't get a bad seat, I went for the Ohara Davies v Adam Azim fight, and really enjoyed it. I was however disappointed as the venue states it sells non alcoholic beer, yet when I went the women said they didn't have any, and I found the serving staff to be rude as well. If this is improved and changed its a 5 star from me.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been to the Copper Box a few times, queuing is never too bad and security is fair. The seats are comfortable and we’ve had a good view wherever we’ve sat. Plenty of food and drink options so the queues inside aren’t bad either.

Charlotte Goodwin 11 months ago

Positive experience: Please start fixing equipment quicker - the Ad/abductor machine as been out of action for well over two months now. It’s also a shame you guys shut so early on a weekend (5pm), staying open until 6 would be better. Otherwise a fine gym, with most of the equipment needed. Great staff !

Ilias Paniaras 11 months ago

Negative experience: Horrible gym - loud music, missing equipment, no space for functional activities, people leaving weights all over the place - would not recommend

Giovanni Nunziata 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: One of the best, if not the best basketball court where I have played in London! I want to go also to watch a London Lions match

Andreas Progkri 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: One for the best indoor arenas if you like basketball. You can also book the place of you want to run a session with other people for a decent price regarding what you get.

Pearl Saunders 1 year ago

Positive experience: Good venue & seating but the food options are limited & not what I expect for a sporting venue. Not a bad walk from Stratford & well served by public transport although buses could be more frequent

Sam Virgoe 1 year ago

Positive experience: Attended RevPro Wrestling 12 Anniversary show. Not a bad seat in the house, great organisation from staff to get everyone in and out of the building. Transport links to get to the venue easy to use (overground for me) £8 for chicken strips and around £6 per pint was good for an arena event. Fantastic sound system and lots of toilet facilities which are also accessible throughout the building.

Fantastic experience: Easily accessible good seating arrangement

Fantastic experience: We went for a physio session, not to see a show. The gym was well equipped and the group leader very knowledgeable and helpful.

Positive experience: The gym is big and has a range of equipment. Badminton courts are great too. Lighting in the courts could be good, if they turned on the lights for once.

Fantastic experience: After 6 years i finally got the chance to see a Rocket League Major event in person and i got nothing bad to say about the venue to be honest. The moment felt too unreal. This place is the most iconic one when it comes to Rocket League so yea. History

alex s 1 year ago

Positive experience: Event was well organised with lots of staff visible and helpful. 4 stars only because the seats are a tad uncomfortable after several hours.

Adrian Bell 1 year ago

Positive experience: Rocket League Championship Series 2024. Delay getting in due to technical issues but staff were great & kept us informed. Nice flow within the arena and signage fairly clear. Facilities okay, toilets quite tired but cleaning staff there throughout keeping them in good shape. Limited food options but adequate for the crowd. Issue seen with member of public breaching the stage area, security need to wake up. Medical staff seen and looked more like body guards in the way the stood in front of the seated public. Overall great venue, well managed in most areas. See pics for food menu.

Dadio 1 year ago

Positive experience: It had air conditioning plenty of space to move about outside. Seating similar to football plastic above concrete. Light and sounds good balance not too loud. Rocket league live computer gaming. Food expensive. More range that reviews read. So had package sandwiches Inc glutton free in cooler cabinet. Lots beer. Prosecco. Can coke c2.80 and they opened it so not easy to carry. Said no food food or water allowed in. Yet search limited so able to bring bottle water hidden in coat. Should have free water tapes but only saw one. Long que at food stalls in breaks but short other times and lots of food points. Not allowed out to get air but not needed as aircon. Would be good to have own signs from Stratford Station, only had for west ham stadium so longer walk. Loads of security before and after right back to station which was good and friendly

Schmidteren 1 year ago

Negative experience: Atmosphere not the greatest, because its to bright at e sports., and the så satte only in the middle. Food is overpriced and bad. Not good selection of drinks either. At least fans was good. Even the warm Coco they couldn't make to it, tasted only like water. The choco wasn't mixed at all, see picture.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion, great venue with a nicely compact atmosphere an capacity of seats. Based in the Olympic village Stratford, nearest public transport is Hackney Wick overground station.

Negative experience: Reviewing Better gym in Copper Box The old gym was already pretty small but it had at least an okay amount of equipment. They recently did renovations and actually took away equipment. There is now 1 smith machine in the entire gym. That's the only one you can bench or squat on. I hope you enjoy waiting in a queue. The gym is now unusable imo because they closed the old East Village one, sending all the people who went there here and to the Velopark. Both are about a quarter to a fifth of the size, can't accommodate that many people. Stay away from both this gym and the Velopark. Tiny and barely any equipment.

Ulyana Toporovskaya 1 year ago

Negative experience: I joined the Better gym at Copperbox Arena in January and was very happy with it - a convenient changing room, great gym setup, and yoga classes included (which is something important to me). However, what was meant to be an ‘upgrade’ lasting a few days in March, turned into a never-ending chaos that only adds stress to your day. The ‘renovations’ were supposed to be over, yet every few days a new area of the gym gets flagged as ‘under construction’, with builders constantly there. They completely canceled a great yoga class which was extremely popular, for no reason whatsoever. Many of the ‘new’ machines seem to actually be older than the previous ones, they are more rusty. The treadmills are now facing a glass wall instead of a window like they used to, so you can’t enjoy the view anymore and have to try not to stare at other people on a treadmill, which is pretty awkward. There is now a single ‘adductor’+’abductor’ machine instead of two, which means double the time someone spends on it, how is that an upgrade? How is any of it an upgrade? The seemed to be nothing wrong with the changing room close to the entrance, yet it has been ‘under construction’ for around two weeks, if I’m not mistaken. Today it turned out that half the lockers upstairs are gone, and the lockers that were available at the time (I tried like 8) wouldn’t actually lock. These are just some of the examples of what feels like never-ending management mistakes. Despite all that causing some stress every time I’d go to the gym, I kept going and trying to not pay attention/hoping it would end soon. Yet today, seeing that the ‘upgrades’ are very much still not done, and even more areas of the gym are now ‘under construction’, my frustration reached its peak and I felt I had to leave without even finishing my workout. This is the only Better gym close to my home, and I loved it initially, but I’m not coming back. Thankfully, I have a student membership, so I will be switching gyms and will now have to take a bus to the other one - which will cost me more money and time. Unless that one will also be as chaotic, then I’ll have to switch to somewhere else. Changes just for the sake of changes are the worst thing you can do. Do better?

Fantastic experience: I've been here to see numerous sporting events here. They are generally really fun and enjoyable (although some are quieter than others). Get there early and remember that the area is got a lot of homes, nearby. I've noticed people wandering into the housing estate and getting a little turned arround once leaving.

Fantastic experience: Great basketball game

Gloria Rivera 1 year ago

Negative experience: The Ticketmaster ticket purchasing system is in shambles. Despite successfully completing a transaction, the lack of confirmation and acknowledgement via email was surprising. The amateurish webpages reveal the Copperbox administration's corrupt practices, leaving the Stratford community in the lurch. It's truly a pity that the community, which hosts the Copperbox, is being neglected in such a manner

Fantastic experience: Copper box arena is a good sports venue, we watched a Netball game. The food and snacks are a bit expensive, but the facilities were ample and neat. Appreciate the good maintenance.

Positive experience: No thought gone into receiving deliveries, they want it on upper level but not suitable for an artic, you need to stay on the slither of tarmac and not the gravel so a long windy reverse out to traffic lights.

Fantastic experience: Decent views from the upper tier. Easy to get in, facilities all clean and easily accessible. Good value tickets for the basketball too.

Damo D 1 year ago

Positive experience: Pros -nice venue, friendly atmosphere, don't think there's a bad seat in the house to watch from. We were at a London Lions double header, so saw the men's and women's games with a break in between. This break allowed us to leave with a hand stamp and grab food and stretch legs elsewhere. Cons- only one con really. The steward stopping me taking a beer to my seat. I have been to other American sports in UK and this was a first. So was stuck with hot dogs, drinks, nachos and forced to stand at bar area and eat. I asked another steward and the bar staff who said they think it's fine. Turns out the jobs worth had got it wrong! Took the gloss of arriving at a great event. Suffice to say he then allowed the rest of the stand to bring in drinks.

Fantastic experience: We had booked out a court to play badminton. Checking in at the front desk was easy and the facilities are well prepared. They have changing facilities on site.

Positive experience: Basketball. Nice area. Security & Staff always pleasant. Drink n Food prices ridiculous. Pre-Mixed Can G&T £6.50 ...You can buy em for as little as £1.69-£2.50. My Pals said Warm Beers last week too (Beer is usually on tap but cans Weds) Absolute P Take. I work in Hospitality/Events so appreciate they need to make a profit but damn

Joanna Lothian 1 year ago

Positive experience: We really enjoyed watching the London Lions here. The only reason for giving the place 4 stars (and not 5) is the huge queues for the ladies loos AND being charged good coffee prices for instant coffee. Yuck.

Charles 1 year ago

Negative experience: The whole point is not to look at phone to see the score. Scoreboard is only 70% visible, disgraceful. The arena can't afford to put up LED scoreboards around the arena. Shamefully the worse basketball arena in Europe.

Jo 1 year ago

Negative experience: The venue was quite large, but we were disappointed with the food situation. We were not permitted to bring in any food, and many people were required to discard their food items. If we had known that we could not bring food and that there were limited food options at the venue, we would not have purchased tickets for the event. Additionally, the food options were limited to two types, hotdogs and crisps, which were not very appealing. The security personnel were quite rude, raising their voices at attendees and threatening to deny entry if we argued. While the game itself was enjoyable, our experience was negatively impacted by the lack of food options. We were forced to either remain hungry or leave the game in order to find food. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide advance notice regarding any restrictions on bringing food into the venue and ensure that there is a wider variety of food options available.

Ilias Kostalas 1 year ago

Positive experience: Very good facilities and easy access from nearby Hackney Wick station. London Lions atmosphere is great. Good views of the basketball court from seating areas . Arena staff are very friendly. Only let down is food, shops don't offer any food suitable for young children other than hot dogs. Overall a nice little basketball stadium comparable to the facilities of big European basketball clubs.

Khanh Nguyen Quoc 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: The Copper Box Arena stands as a dynamic sports and entertainment hub, offering a vibrant space for various events. With its modern design and versatile layout, it hosts thrilling sports competitions, captivating concerts, and engaging community activities, creating an electric atmosphere that fosters memorable experiences for attendees.

Olivia Bohac 1 year ago

Positive experience: How they managed to build an Olympic Venue with the atmosphere of a glorified leisure centre is so dissatisfying. I watched the Handball during the Olympics, SLS skateboarding, and more recently a few London Lions basketball games. If this venue had a lighting rig and a jumbotron the events would be so much better. It all feels a bit sterile like a hospital ward. Food & drink is missable and service is slow. Three fast food options that are completely overpriced - we all expect to pay more at event venues but these options are BAD! (McDonald’s is better) We usually go to the Wings place on the canal afterwards if we’re hungry.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere and clean establishment

Wing Tam 1 year ago

Negative experience: Horrible screaming child directly behind us actually made us lose hearing for half a day. This was for tennis (Billie Jean King cup qualifiers), btw, not football. Unacceptable and nothing was done about it. Also very long queue for food and beverages, my friend that was dehydrated and merely wanted water had to stand in line with 20+ people in front of us. Perhaps water fountains are the solution?

Daniel Ciornei 1 year ago

Positive experience: My only beef with the place is the selection of food and snacks was tiny. Literally 2 warm things… hotdogs and cheese sauce on Doritos ..

Tom McElhinney 1 year ago

Positive experience: Great venue generally but comfortably the worst food I've eaten at any event.

Ola Shadare 1 year ago

Positive experience: A very large Venue for hosting a variety of events such as sports, exhibition's and music. We attended Lovejuice at the Copperbox.

Katherine Newton 1 year ago

Negative experience: Nice arena but not one hand drier worked in the toilets. Slow and miserable staff on the bars. Very poor choice of food and drink

Tom Wolstenholme 1 year ago

Positive experience: The venue was OK apart from the noise of the toilet hand dryers during the event. The food at the event was poor! Of course, the venue stated upfront that your own food would not be allowed, so we would have to buy their offering. The first choice from their menu boards, which said 'available now,' was a sausage roll. Sorry, they said "we don't have any" (half hour after opening)! OK, I said crispy, chicken strips then, sorry they said "won't be ready for another 10mins". Later my wife went back for two Hot Chocolates. She waited in line for 20 minutes only to then be told, "No hot drinks at the moment!" Later, I went back for the crispy chicken strips. They turned out to be soggy microwaved from frozen chicken strips! My advice is to sneak your own food in as you'll then get what you want and how you like it!

Richard Wall 1 year ago

Negative experience: Good venue and good view of tennis. On site catering awful. You cannot take in your own food and drink yet after a 20minute queue no hot water for drinks. A later queue of 15 minutes and the hot chocolate was awful and I was given wrong drink. The volume of the music during the first half was painfully loud, it can't just have been me to complain as it was quieter in the second half. A good event spoilt by poor and perhaps greedy logistics.

Lew Hodges 1 year ago

Positive experience: Copper Box is okay but it is very bad indeed that you can't take in water and snacks. You can't get water inside either - they say you can but actually you have to queue half an hour and then they say no. Very very bad

Hamish Graham 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Great venue and loved watching the basketball. Tips: do not bring big bags there’s nowhere to store them no cloakroom etc. try the stasher app for nearby options. Don’t plan on getting Pre-game food/drinks - there were 10 of us in shifts in the queue for 30mins and queues went right through the whole 1st quarter - staff have to hand poor each glass of pop from cans (insane carbon footprint) so it’s not there fault, management really must consider more sustainable options for events.

Fantastic experience: Lovely venue, been here twice for New Japan Pro Wrestling now, happy it was back here again for Royal Quest 3. Venue is so professional looking and adds a layer to the presentation of the product shown. Did ask a staff member if there was a smoking area, they said no there isn't and once in you're in, I walked around the corner and saw a smoking area lol

Safiqul Alum 1 year ago

Positive experience: I go to watch Basketball occasionally. Most of the time it's fine, tidy, plenty of space, staff are amazing and helpful. Last time I went there was a bad smell though, like pee dried by my seat, and the show just started. Bathrooms are a little grim 30% of the time but that's just a public bathroom at a sports center.

Vyky powell 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: We went for our first basketball game. Easy and fast to get in. Clean and well staffed. They sell food and drinks ..a bit pricey but it always is at these sorts of venues. Very nice experience. 388 stops right outside the door.

Catherine Montoya Colorado 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I love coming to watch sports events here! The staff are welcoming and helpful with directions. The drinks are well priced but I wouldn't say the food is worth purchasing.

David M 2 years ago

Positive experience: This is a good venue. It is easy enough to find and the seats offer a good view of what is being shown. It is let down by it's catering, unfortunately. Expect long queues, unhelpful staff and out of stock items with no alternate options provided. If the venue loses Fivestar catering - they'll provide a much better service to their attendees.

Chris Gilder 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Great building to see events in. It is a bit dark in the upper tiers but that's my only real complaint. Facilities are fantastic. It's an ideal big building to run 'shows' in.

Positive experience: Split in half for Apex Legends Globas Series, decent seating, plenty of toilets and food places, nothing amazing but a solid place for medium to large events. Atm clear bag policy only, with bag storage in nearby shopping mall. Nice and friendly staff all round to help, London prices as expected, they do double pint glasses. Theres also plenty parking at the internstional carpark and you can book it for 9 quid via Just Park app

Positive experience: beer spenny, but venue is cool, plenty of good viewing places and well ventilated. I saw League MSI there which was neat, a great venue for it and easy to get to with travel links. When I was there they had a lil trouble with the pint pulling machine, but that's fine, I won't hold that against them, you do you boo.
