Negative experience: Both floor and walls are black. It's not good for safety. No heating. Not cleaned. Expensive. Some machines have started to oxidised due to lack of care. No reception or receptionist. No trainers. No adequate light. No cup to drink water. There are no adequate machines for the upper body, especially the chest. Very good for the owner . He is looking for volunteers to clean the gym, may be at Christmas. Good luck, owner ,the lucky man.

Negative experience: I’d avoid this gym as a whole, it’s dirty and run down with broken and old machines all thrown together in separate rooms. No staff on site to help and you have to use intercom to get in as the app is never working, no contact number to ring them either. Absolutely avoid not worth a penny of your money

Positive experience: Decent gym, really good equipment not going to deny that! Only let down for me was the showers and the locker rooms, lack of privacy. If they update that I will happily go back!

Positive experience: My wife joined the club last week. To do so she had to pay £10 for. an individual induction (one hour). Anyway she turned up and was met by a complete waste of space. Didn't know she was coming, didn't even show her the fire escapes let alone showed the equipment. She wants her money back!

Positive experience: Cheap gym with a good range of classes and nice selection of weight and cardio machines. However the showers are unclean. There is outside light which is a safety concern considering there is a pole in the middle of the path. Takes a long time to cancel the subscription.

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews, but today I will make an exception. The gym itself is satisfactory. It has everything you will need, in terms of weights and cardio. What I absolutely do not like, is the general air and attitude of the gym. Everything seems a bit passive aggressive. There are some extremely disturbing rules on display at the gym, that highlight this passive aggressiveness. There is even a notice on the board saying 'Thieves will be dealt with in the old way and their hands will be chopped off' or something implying this. It really is not a positive vibe, that I usually get with gyms like PureGym for example. They also have terrible communication, with a non functional phone number, and don't send confirmation replies of cancellation. This is concerning because, without a evidence of a cancellation, they can easily keep charging your bank, and claim that no cancellation request was made. Be careful when joining.

Fantastic experience: Great value for money. It has all of the equipment that you would ever need to have a good work out, without all the pomp associated with some other gyms! If you want extra PT sessions, you can, if you want top membership you can, if you want to do extra classes you can, but if you don't want it or need anything other than basic membership then nothing is pushed upon you, and no high pressure sales! It is a breath of fresh air. The staff are lovely people who always make you feel welcome. They are always there for advice if and when needed but without the over the top unnecessary advice that some other gyms feel the need to do, just to give themselves a feeling of self worth! It is such a comfortable place to be and perfect the way it is. I wouldn't ever want to go anywhere else to be honest.

Positive experience: Good cheap gym that has a fair selection of weights and cardio equipment. Their new system to get into the gym isn't super user friendly. And their website and app could do with some work. But for the price you pay its all very reasonable. Good variety of classes on, just some of the timings are a bit annoying for people with full time jobs.

Negative experience: Men's toilets filthy and smelly! New refurbishment dark and uninspiring. Staff ok but Jake is great should work at a much better gym. £30 a month from £20 a month was a joke. Wife left and I have too. Car park spaces taken up with lister tight wads and what's with the 4pm closes at weekends. They have lost members over the last 6 months and I used to use the gym most days and got most bored each time I visited. No atmosphere at all. Tip for owners listen to and don't take members as fools.

Fantastic experience: Cracking gym. I've used it a few times when I'm visiting relatives in Hertfordshire. For a budget gym it's incredibly well equipped whether you want strength training, a bodybuilding workout, cardio or pretty much anything in between. Never too busy either.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, with loads of equipment and a friendly atmosphere

Fantastic experience: I go here 4 times a week, and it's great, all of the body builder types have their own little room, so "normal" people can use all of the cardio equipment without worrying what they look like, I look a mess and I don't care because everyone there is working hard and if you don't look a mess you're not working hard enough. There are lots of classes and if you go during the day or early morning then it is nearly empty. The only downside is they have some very popular classes which means the car park is sometimes full, This is mainly wednesday evenings and sunday mornings between 10 and 12.

Lots of classes and services, different subscription plans available with good benefits such as free protein shakes/water etc. Parking lets it down in busy times often being full and poor surface. Friendly staff, tvs and music everywhere, website is good source of true information.
