Fantastic experience: It’ll be nice to give a spin class a go at, if this would be considered as a new class added please

Positive experience: Really enjoy Pure gym, first gym I’ve been to and stuck at. Love the morning classes just after school run. Shane about spin classes though. That’s the only thing I want to have a go at but can’t. Emma is great! Love her!

Fantastic experience: All Classes are something new each time, full of surprises, PT’s brings a smile and crack a joke. All staff are very friendly and helpful

Fantastic experience: What can I say?! I do enjoy coming to the gym, but please can we have 45 min sessions. Used to have a Burn it class I really enjoyed. Can we please have it back?! I enjoy classes with Blair and Emma, Emma is my favorite. . Please can you buy industrial cleaner for the gym. Floor is covered with peoples hair. But other than that I do like Pure Gym.

Fantastic experience: Well trained instructors who fully motivate you in classes. There’s nothing they don’t help you with. Blair makes sure the classes aren’t repetitive and they are really enjoyable (but hard work ffs)

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Definitely need spin classes. Missing out on a lot of customers. I'm aware of loads of people who gu up the Whitefield just for this class. Loving the pump sessions. Em & Blair great instructions

Fantastic experience: Classes are really good, the instructors are great. Shorter classes but very effective particularly the weights type classes, e.g. pump. I wish they had a wider variety of classes e.g. boxfit, more tabata / HIIT style, yoga etc as part of the classes included in gym membership. Also there's quite a high turnover of staff so imagine the conditions aren't great. Would be good to see staff better valued by the company.

Positive experience: Good basic gym

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Easy location. Parking must be registered inside in every visit. Wish some people would park in the bays instead of feeling self entitled outside the entrance.

Fantastic experience: I was unsure at first as I was with another gym but after meeting the staff, Emma, Blair and Kev, it was easy to change. No contract really helps but visit daily and really light and airy staff are approachable and always someone on site. Go for it. Well worth it. Very impressed.

Positive experience: It needs more equipments, specially for the lower back exercise. At the weekends the air conditioner sometimes out of order.

Fantastic experience: Great gym - however, I'm a rower and nobody appears to know how to use the rowing equipment properly, why cant a trainer just explain how it’s used. I see many people doing themselves more harm than good

Positive experience: I used the Pure gym in Dover for a few days whilst visiting family in the area. Clean and equipment in good condition. Not the biggest gym but they had the essentials. Some constructive feedback: When adjusting the back of the bench the seat of the bench adjusts automatically. My preference would be a bench where back and seat can be adjusted independently for user comfort. The hydration station requires a members code and certain level of membership to access...unnecessary. Alot of cable attachments are kept in a blue plastic crate on the floor. Should be put on a rack of some type. Leg extension machine ankle brace does not fix in place so rides up the shin. My preference is a brace that can be pinned in position. Exchange current calf press Machine for a simple standing calf press. The one in the gym isn't great. There was one table with some cloths and spray bottles to wipe down the machines, but there weren't many. Suggest simple blue roll stationed at a few points in the gym with more spray bottles. Warm gym...might be worth upping the AC.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend puregym since it's provided with different options to choose for group classes and the atmosphere is motivating.Paul is a great coach who works hard in group classes specifically in leg,tum burn fat sessions and I profoundly advise you to work with him if you are in Dover.

Fantastic experience: PureGym gets a 3.5/5 overall from myself. 24/7, good price month to month, has most of what anyone needs, however they are busy, frequently have poor hygiene, higher rate of inconsiderate users and missing or worn out accessories, plus often misplaced or missing weights. Dover One of the better PG's, probably best of smaller ones I've been to currently, hopefully stays that way. Clean though I did not go in toilets, well maintained, reasonably well laid out and good location in town. Think it's quite new so curious to see how it ages. Also busy but not crowded when I went and finally a PG where you can find all the weight clips, cable ropes and barbell weights where they mostly should be.

Positive experience: Nice gym, very spacious. A little basic but I'm assuming this is because it's still new.

Negative experience: The gym is ok, I used it whilst onna visit from Oz. Cleanliness is a bit low, no one uses a towel or cleans equioment down after them. Im not a fan of wiping other peoples sweat of equipment. Maybe its an aussie thing that a towel is standard gym rule. Staff seem ok, except 1 employee who gave a sarcastic response when I asked where water was to refill. Equipment is ok but lacking a fair few machines. Unfortunatley left my GHD by accident, aussie plug but had the uk adapter. No response from my email to the Dover gym asking if they been handed in.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, friendly and kind staff, clean and amazing equipment. The 24/7 opening hours are amazing and I truly enjoy using this gym.

Fantastic experience: I love your gym and thank you for your work. The one thing I would like to ask to fix is the stepper (there's the one in the gym), it does not work as it should. When starting to walk, it is the same at any program. It is impossible to do exercises, because the stairs themselves do not return to their normal position on time. It seems that he needs an adjuster.

Fantastic experience: Always clean with a great variety of new equipment, including a large functional training space. One easy improvement would be to add wipe pods for cleaning equipment after use.

Positive experience: Good solid gym. Needs an extra flat bench press and some solid flooring in the squat racks to really hit the spot for me. Light weight baby!

Fantastic experience: Brand new gym, good equipment. Open 24/7 friendly. Seem to get on equipment ok even at peak time . Staff keep it tidy. Changing room ok , lockers if you want one. Not done any classes yet . Impressed with it so far.

Positive experience: Great gym, well laid out and spacious with all the equipment you could need in tip top condition, in my experience the only minor complaint is that the showers don't seem to have temperature controls and the water is always tepid. The staff i've met are all approachable and professional, good price and 24hr access is the best benefit of a Pure gym membership, nowhere else opens early enough to get a session in before work!

Positive experience: Great venue, modern equipment. Showers never seem hot

Negative experience: I cancelled my gym membership because I thought not having staff in the gym in the evening was very dangerous you could have a bunch of people get in there and start trouble and attack gym members it's a accident waiting to happen, cctv camaras are not enough it should have staff there 24 hours a day.

Fantastic experience: I try to only go during off peak times because it is nice and peaceful but other than that the place is great. Always clean (apart from people empty water bottles) it is kept in good working order. I have never had issues with the place

Fantastic experience: Very modern and up to date facility with a very good range of equipment. My only concern is the lack of lighting outside of the establishment,ie car park and surrounding areas.

Fantastic experience: A completely private place for exercise, great fitness trainers and staff, absolutely amazing exercise machines, suitable for "almost" all age categories. A big plus is the shower, lockers that are empty, drinking fountain, and excellent vending machines for food, proteins and drinks. Big shoutout for me.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, great variety of equipment and classes. Really friendly and approachable team and always on hand for help when needed. Even when unstaffed hours, you feel safe I the environment and such a great vibe in there when the gym is busy.

Negative experience: I joined because they advertised Aerobics and Zumba, nothing so far. The classes aren’t ‘inclusive’ for all ages.It doesn’t cater for us ‘oldies’. Also the cleaning stations need revision, enough bottles of disinfectant but all using the same cloths! Yuk. I asked to use the weighing scales and was refused. Have to use the one’s that charge £1.50. Thinking of cancelling my membership already.

Negative experience: Would have rated higher as equipment is decent (very decent for price) and is not too busy during day. Main reason I rate lower is that despite it being a budget gym, it seems to try its hardest to make you aware of that. Place is gross as there are no cleaning wipes available unlike literally any other gym I’ve ever been to, and staff just say ‘bring a towel’ which does little to clean others’ sweat.. Furthermore there are minimal water facility to refill you bottle. They have a water fountain that is so slow and shallow that most bottles can’t be filled. The alternative is paying for a bolt on to get water from their drinks machine, or use an overpriced vending machine. If they put in cleaning wipes available, and put in a water-bottle -filling attachment on the water fountain, would rate 5* for value. Fix this please, spoken to Many people here and the same problems are mentioned every time. Surely management is aware, and are actively choosing not to fix..

Negative experience: Odd a big brand name would have ZERO hygiene policy or even cleaning stations given the constant flow of people - No wipes, no spray to clean anything before or after. This is prevelant in even the smallest of gyms!! With that said you'd think if not going to provide it some one would be actively on that role constantly, just sets the standard for a gym instantly... Shame. Other than that it's okay - just screams when you walk in given its size that it could have been far far better! Nice friendly staff if that's what you're there for I guess!

Positive experience: My first time in puregym A very nice gym But you have to go Early Because it gets way too busy that's the only downfall Staff are nice and they need some cleaning stations That's why you get 4 stars Cause no cleaning stations
