Negative experience: When went in to inquire about a membership I am disabled by the way. Went toward the deck and the man said go to the next deck where a young lady was we tried to get as much information as as possible. But this person didn't seem interested. I found the hole visit rude and disrespectful. The next day went to oakhampton leisure center. What a difference, we were well information and given a hot drink sat in the cafe and talked to 3 different. Members of the team, been going 3 weeks now, we open the door and they remember our name and so nice. As for crediton you could learn some manners.

Fantastic experience: I came to enquire about the membership options. Manager gave me a tour of the facilities. Gym has lots of high tech equipment and price is good for what I'm looking for. Good location, lots of parking. Will be signing up soon.

Fantastic experience: The swimming pool was lovely when we came in. Happily, there weren't too many people so I could teach my daughter how to swim in the deep end together. Met one her friends, had a good time. Very good to find friends and swim

Positive experience: Good sized leasure centre, has a swimming pool and also a kiddies pool. Good range of exercise and fitness equipment available for use, prices for both yearly membership and day use if you want to just try things before you commit to a full year membership. Good sized car park at front with an overflow car park at the end.

Positive experience: Hit and miss with staff. Some very efficiently and friendly. Others more interested in gossip and ignoring you - although I think my age and gender were factors in being ignored by the not very helpful lady in the desk.

Negative experience: Desperately needs an update. Sauna is booked one at a time with a key when it could easily fit a few people. This place might have been okay in the 80s or 90s but certainly not now. Gym is adequate

Positive experience: Lords Meadow is a decent little leisure centre. Friendly staff, decent facilities and conviently placed. Just a few minor gripes that stop the place reaching full 5 stars. Downstairs lockers, there is only ever about 3 free irrespective of the time of day you come. Not sure why? Would love to get a cheeky brew post session, but sadly no coffee shop/cafe despite the space. Surely this would be a winner? Right next to the TV during the world Cup as well, someone missed a trick there!. Would also be nice to have some better air con upstairs during summer months, or at least be able to open the window. If dry and wet changing rooms were connected I'd use the pool more, but I don't just because it's inconvenient. So thats on me But other than that, the place is clean, there is enough car parking (even when busy some nights), there is a good selection of classes for all ages and interests. I can even book out the entire hall for use if I want to use it (which is included under my own membership fees for no additional charge). People aways willing to help when asked. The place seems to run reasonably well too, does make me think that whoever running the place may as well take on the cafe too. Not everything in life needs to be subcontracted, hows about a little bit of localised renationalisation. Happy Christmas to you all C.

Positive experience: We visited with the family and had a nice time. The children's pool was warm and a good depth for both swimmers & non swimmers. The main pool was warmer than I expected. The website makes a lot about the water being from a spring. It definitely felt different but I would definitely recommend goggles.

Negative experience: We have paid a lot of money for swimming lessons over the years to receive little to no interaction from the swim teachers or anyone else. There is no structure to the lessons, so my child has been in group 6 for over 6 months with no review and no way to find out when the review will happen. The door staff just say "soon." They are conning parents out of a lot of money and time. £28 for half an hour a week, and they can sit in groups for 6 months or more not being reviewed. That is a lot of money. It should be a set 12 weeks, then review them so its structured. Poor service. Not worth the time or money you spend, and my kid has become so terribly bored in her group that she has screamed and shouted at us till we allowed her to quit going. They shouldn't let children become so good in their group that they are actually bored to tears! It ruins the experience for them and makes getting them to go so difficult! I wouldn't bother; go Exeter or somewhere instead.

Fantastic experience: I just went there for my Covid19 injection, but afterwards I took my Dogs to the field and woods near their, and they absolutely loved it even though it was very cold at the time, but just watching them running and playing was really great and funny to see. I would recommend it to everyone to just even for a walk in the fresh air to walk the woods trail.

Positive experience: Really nice staff and a cozy atmosphere. Main problem is the temperature-- coldest gym I've visited in the world. AC is on full blast in all areas of the gym and class areas even in the dead of winter. I wear three layers but nose, toes and hands are frozen. Ac blows right on you. There should be at least one section of the gym that isn't cooled down to winter temps. Fans are great! Stick with fans!

Fantastic experience: Fairly grand, gym might be pokey but has all the right gear. Pool is a charmed place, calming and serene. Sauna facilities and various classes, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: FAB! FAB! FAB! The centre has a 25m pool and a toddler pool, which holds adult/children lessons. It also has a large hall for children's parties, badminton, etc...and a gym with lots of equipment and a coffee bar. Exercise is great for the mind, so why not have some FUN with family and friends!!

Fantastic experience: The facilities at Lords Meadow are The 25 metre swimming pool is warm and there is also a toddler pool. Both pools are popular for swimming lessons. I use the sports hall twice a week playing badminton with my friends. It is a lovely way to socialize and keep fit. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of my friends and I have been using the sports hall for 20 + years because we love it so much :-)

Fantastic experience: We often go here to play badminton on a Monday evening. We pay £4 each for the hour which I think is perfectly reasonable. The staff are friendly and polite. The equipment is clean, tidy and the carpark is ample.
