Negative experience: Don't go if you have a scar on your body, I was denied entry because of a scar on my shoulder

Fantastic experience: I became a member 4 months ago in April 2024 It's A Small & Very Friendly Place! With A Swimming Pool,Sauna,Steam Room,An Indoor & An Outdoor Jacuzzi. With Top Class Reception Staff! ( Especially Phil The Manager Who Has Been There Nearly 30 Years! ) I Go There Everyday,& Never Get Bored! & The Hotel Is Also Very Popular With Different Events & Nice Rooms, Offering Good Food,& Free Use Of The ' Spa ' Facilities. And The Car Park Always Seems To Be Busy, Proving How Popular It Is! I Cannot Recommend Enough, How Good It Is, To My Family and Friends. & Hope To Be A Member For A Very Very Long Time. Negative experience: When I booked the treatment I was promised an email confirmation which I never received. When I arrived at the spa although I rang the bell I had to wait until a guest eventually let me in. When I entered the spa the card machine did not work. It was very stressful. I was told that I had to pay for the treatment before I had the treatment and asked for cash.I don’t carry cash as I’ve never had a problem with Apple Pay I was made to feel like it was fault for not having cash. I was offered refreshments which was basically water. Last time I had been there was a selection of teas, lemon water etc. When I was taken to the room for the treatment I noticed straight away the cupboards that used to be full of products now empty and just full of stains. The treatment itself was not luxurious like on my previous visits the products used was very sparingly and didn’t seem to be of the same quality it felt like what I would imagine a budget wowcher experience would be. I was then taken to the relaxation area again told to help myself to the refreshments that again was only water unlike on my previous visits. Do not waste your money this is a cheap basic experience if you want to be pampered this is definitely not the place.

Positive experience: I went for a spa experience. The pool, sauna and hot tubs are shared with people who regularly attend the centre which felt like an odd juxtaposition. They all seemed to know each other and so we felt really out of place, especially as they gave us different robes. The venue was nice but surrounded by a car park. There was no food available except snacks, which I struggled massively with as we had booked a spa day. The spa areas were lovely and the staff there were amazing so that made it an enjoyable experience. I loved the relaxation room although there's a curtain that opens into the waiting room which is quite odd. I would recommend this place if you wanted to attend weekly to make friends but not for a spa day, although the massages were really good.

Fantastic experience: Clean, great temperature, friendly and welcoming staff. Really comfy Sun loungers and nice poolside chat. They have a pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, cold water shower. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Avoid if you want a relaxing experience! The poolside is rammed, more like a cheap package holiday on the costa del dol! Changing rooms were filthy

Positive experience: The spa is lovely but when we ordered sandwiches we waited 45 mins and it waa basically a mysh of cold salmon and avacodo on cold hard bread. I did tell staff..appreciated they may have been short staffed but it was so disappointing

Positive experience: Nice experience, and feeling of calm when we leave. Better to go in the evening after the children have gone as it can be quite noisy which spoils the peace. Lovely outdoor jacuzzi, nice touch to include a free hot drink as part of the visit. Friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: A lovely clean and well set out place, unlike others I have been to. Really enjoyed the outside hot tub. I appreciated the complimentary refreshment. The afternoon tea was excellent, very tasty.

Positive experience: The positives: nice grounds, great spa, nice clean, comfy rooms with very good air con. Breakfast excellent variety of foods and drinks. The negatives: very rude staff on reception, two foreign ladies were especially rude to me, refused to admit they were wrong called me a liar then when proven wrong I was given no apology. Also a tall man with front of house type duties was very moody in fact quite creepy.

Positive experience: Always had a lovely experience with the treatments, great facilities, staff are lovely. However, when we had the afternoon tea with our package, we didn't realise we had to sit infront of many wedding guests in our robes! Off we went back to change! Afternoon Tea was nice.

Positive experience: Polite staff , clean rooms, delicious breakfast and a wide variety to choose from. Spa treatments available but unable to comment since didn't get the opportunity to use the said service.
