Negative experience: The pool temperature is hit and miss, which is definitely a set back. Overall a nice, clean and tidy pool and changing rooms. I take my little one swimming here but always phone beforehand for temperature, that is how hit and miss it is. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Gym is fantastic as are the trainers, pool lovely for swimming (adults & kids) only thing that needs improving is the changing rooms- they aren't big enough for the capacity of people e.g when aqua aerobics are on or it's a busy swim time. Still worth the 5*s are reception are super lovely too

Negative experience: horrible woman verbally abused me and my friend trying to go sit up stairs and watch her little sister swim, claiming we are kids causing trouble when we are both 18 and in college doing our a levels. very upset over this, middle aged blonde woman spoke to us didn’t catch her name. needs new staff with better attitude and said we were part of a group causing trouble

Fantastic experience: Gym equipment seems brand new, gym showers lovely and modern. Nice big pool. Staff so friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Pool was ok however a member of cleaning staff made a comment that the toilet should not be used as a changing room however the communal changing room was packed and the person didn’t feel comfortable!

Positive experience: Great leisure centre. Would be better if adult swim evenings were the same everyday. Would make it easier to get into routine

Fantastic experience: Only played badminton here but that was stress free and the venue seemed really nice. The pool looked amazing and great for kids so looking forward to taking my son here to try it out.

Fantastic experience: Excellent pool, especially for young children. The water temperature is enough for a toddler to really enjoy for a long session. The slide is good, although seems to closed off 50% of the time. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Price is very good.

Positive experience: I only know the pool and changing area well. Slide is fun but it isn't always on. Nice and warm pool to swim in. Good amount of shallow area for toddlers. I've been pleased with casual swim, swim lessons (although my son has been trying and waiting to start again for over 3 years! They mucked up there massively) and children's parties. On swim lesson days the showers are too hot - like burning - I've asked them to turn it down but nothing seems to change (I do have another child in lessons there atm - I'm talking of now, not over 3 years ago when my son was there, when I talk of hot showers). Friendly staff though.

Fantastic experience: Family swim session.... Great for kids, not too busy so it's nice/chilled rather than chaotic. Plenty of fun to be have on the pirate ship and splash wall. There is also a slide but it was closed on our visit, if taking older children maybe check this first. Highly recommend

Positive experience: Great swimming pool with lot's of sensory play for younger children. Arrive early though as the pool fills quickly with people. Flume wasn't open during our visit, but 3y old grandaughter had a fun time anyway.

Negative experience: Tried and failed twice to get in leaving two disappointed toddlers. No booking system means they expect you to turn up an hour in advance of the swim session and stand in the rain with young children hoping there will be enough room.

Fantastic experience: I didn't get her name but I will put it on here if I see her again but she was really lovely and kind swimming bars and slides are really cool for children and it's a nice place to take your children if you live local. The only thing I can say a bit negatively is it could do with a café it would be nice to sit and have a cup coffee, tea or a bite to eat if you are waiting for your child while they swim, but other than that, it's a lovely place to be clean and the staff will the lady that I spoke to was absolutely lovely

Positive experience: Great pool for families.. however. We had to wait an hour queuing as family swim didn't start til 2pm in Easter holidays! Also . Absolute nightmare changing rooms as they are small and get far too busy.

Fantastic experience: We had a pool party booked for my Grandson's 9th birthday. Unfortunately just before we arrived someone had pooed in the pool. Due to health and safety pool cleaning takes 18 hours. The manager was very helpful and accommodating he had his staff to organise alternative activities and has offered us a free pool party slot for the future.

Fantastic experience: I go here swimming every week with my grandson the staff are very polite and the pool is lovely and warm and clean there are at least 4/5 lifeguards around the pool so your always safe whilst swimming xx

Negative experience: Despite having a lovely looking interactive splash area for toddlers in the pool, they can't use it because the pool is closed to the public all weekdays due to schools using it instead. So the only time toddlers can go is weekends when it will be packed with bigger kids. What a shame.

Fantastic experience: I'm just about to have a subscription to this leisure centre for the use of its gym facilities, I was very impressed with the equipment installed there, I have in the past been a member of valentines gym and have to say the facilities at Newbridge leisure centre is up there with valentines if not better as all the equipment is new.

Negative experience: What an absolute joke this place is, how is it a public swimming pool when u can't even swimming in it during the day, only after 4pm in the afternoon and evenings tamping

Positive experience: Changing rooms, swimming areas and observing areas are clean and tidy, although the chairs stacked above the pool read more "afterthought," than "additional capacity," and are visually cluttering. As far as swimming lessons go there's an interesting policy in place... First come first served apparently but without any way to add to a waiting list... so it's possibly either "ask at right time" or "who you know?" We hope this will develop into something fairer and more tangible, and this is a temporary lapse, possibly down to covid. Maybe they'll contact me to update?

Positive experience: Haven't been here for a few years . Took my 2 boys swimming here last week. I have a mixed review. So it's great that swimming is free the month of March.. Great for families feeling the pinch with every other cost rising however no booking system in place now so its a turn up and hope for the best situation. Arrived 15 minutes before session start to have to queue for an hour for the next session. 7months pregnant with pelvic girdle pain wasn't enjoyable. Then realised no unisex changing rooms so struggling with getting my bottom half dressed with my partner in male changing room with my 2 boys . Pool itself was lovely. 90k spent on sensory play was lovely.

Negative experience: Free admission through march. Very disappointed thry have bo family rooms as a single parent with 2 children with add needs unable to go in make changing rooms alone and not able to go in females, it's really difficult. I think provisions should be made.

Fantastic experience: Signed up to the gym, all the staff involved, from the receptionist to Bernard giving me my gym induction were really helpful.

Positive experience: Great pool for kiddies due to the splash play area, a lot warmer than it used to be too. Think booking slots should remain as the ques have been huge, but that goes for all leisure centers.

Negative experience: Lovely swimming pool but poorly run was there 2 weeks ago with the 3 grandkids I went down the slide with my granddaughter and go clattered in the back by a man who was told to come down by the boy who was working at the top of the slide. The young girl who was also working there was lovely and ask me if I was OK but no response from the supervisor/manager. Then to top it all we go back this week with the same grandkids and told that even though we went in 2 weeks ago that this time we had to have a extra adult for the 3 kids. Needless to say the kids were very sad not to be able to go in. Very poor management.

Negative experience: The pre booking system has been removed so now you have to queue up and get turned away at the last second. No information provided. They are completely disorganized and totally unprepared for the end of pandemic restrictions.

Positive experience: I have been swimming here in the past and enjoyed it. I visited the leisure centre recently for my second dose of covid19 vaccine. It could do with more parking as it does get very crowded at times.

Positive experience: Not a review of the leisure centre itself. But a review of the Covid-19 Vaccination centre that they have running here. No problems with staff. They've been very informative. However, There's no screens in-between people / nurses who are giving the jabs. I've seen pictures online of other vaccination centres with screens. There's no privacy when having your jab done. Your in full view of other patients waiting in line when having your jab.

The 3 stars was based on a few visits mainly to the pool quite a while ago, a nice pool with a separate kids, fun area. Cant comment on anything else. Changing rooms were clean with lockers as I recall.
