Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of énergie for over 10 years and my experience has been fantastic! The staff are incredibly welcoming and professional. Instructors are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to offer guidance or tips to help you improve your workouts. They also offer a great variety of group classes, big shout out to Gianni, his HIIT classes are always challenging but fun (which makes the time more enjoyable). I’ve noticed significant improvements in my fitness since joining and would highly recommend énergie to anyone looking for a great place to achieve their fitness goals!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym! Gianni brings the energy and a fabulous HIIT class. Highly recommend. He is extremely knowledgeable.

Positive experience: Has a good range of equipment. Staff are friendly, but the downside to this gym is the fact that there are way too many teenagers who hang around and act like It's a youth club instead of working out .

I’ve been a member at énergie for 2+ years now as it offers the best value for money, flexibility, and equipment variety in the local area. The staff are attentive and generally resolve inevitable machine breakages promptly. I recommend énergie to beginners and experienced lifters alike.

Positive experience: I do like the gym it's friendly and classes are good but some of the equipment needs to be changed it has rust on them that can't be safe ? Definitely some new equipment need in weights room .

Fantastic experience: I returned to the gym this year and was welcomed as if I had never left. The staff are extremely helpful and are always available for a chat. The gym is kept clean at all times and has affordable membership options. P.S. Lee makes a good coffee!

Fantastic experience: Benn going to this gym for quite a while, all the staff are lovely and the quality of equipment is okay I do recommend although it can be quite busy and there is limited space other than those things it’s a really good gym especially if your nervous to start going to a gym

Positive experience: Small-ish gym. Only one of each resistance training machines which makes it hard to train when the gym is busy. Expensive for what you're getting.

Fantastic experience: For the past 5 weeks I have been training with Lucy andrews who is a personal trainer at the gym .I have to say she is amazing ,very helpful , knowledgeable and a very nice person if your like me who was scared to join a gym because you feel intimidated or like just don’t know what your doing book a pt with Lucy thanks to her I feel completely deferent she has changed my hole outlook on going to the gym 5 stars is honestly not enough she is a superstar

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym since October last year. Really well equipped, and lovely changing rooms, but what tops it, is the wonderful staff who are so helpful and welcoming. Lots of classes that cover such a wide range of fitness and times, so there’s something for everyone! I attend one most days and always have the best workout and the most fun, couldn’t reccomend them enough

Fantastic experience: I’m Disabled so need extra help - staff are always really helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. For an update in 2024 what I have previously said STILL remains the case ( as it always has done. I have started using the Gym far more often and I cannot stress enough the VAST difference it has made to me this year, not only has my fitness has considerably improved but my low mood has undoubtedly gone! This Gym, brilliantly run by Lee and his Fabulous staff are so very friendly and kind to this “old boy!” Suggestions are made regularly as to how I can even improve yet more along with more help, my Access to the gym has been made far easier. There NEVER will be ANY consideration of going anywhere else! They’ve done the impossible and Improved on being the Best! Thank you Lee and your Fabulous team! You really have no idea just HOW you help me! I won’t be stopping coming now! All the Best YSB!!

One major drawback is the opening and closing times, which don't align well with my schedule. This limits my ability to fully take advantage of the gym's facilities, often arriving just before closing time. Additionally, the staff hasn't been particularly helpful in resolving issues during those late hours. While I would be open to giving énergie Fitness another try, I would like to see a more competitive pricing structure in comparison to other local gyms that offer more convenient hours and better equipment. In conclusion, énergie Fitness Leighton Buzzard has potential but needs to address its hours of operation and staff responsiveness to truly stand out. A competitive pricing strategy could make it a more appealing option for gym-goers looking for a local fitness solution.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with a good amount of equipment. Would recommend either going first thing in morning/ during the day or last thing at night evenings are hard to get on anything from around 5:30-8. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a good size locker room and decent showers you will need your own lock for lockers. I found using some of the side rooms best as they often are quieter.

Positive experience: Very much a budget gym. Staff are a bit switched off. Good: cheap, machines generally work fine, other gym goers are polite, lots of dumbbells. They have free period products and deodorant in the ladies' which is great! Bad: Ladies' showers are clean but tired (the drains are damaged and the cover is missing in one) and have a lot of mould stains on the sealant. In fact, one of the shower cubicles was built wonky and can't be locked! (It's been like this for months). Some of the staff are fine, others are checked out and apathetic. I asked about a lost towel I'd accidentally left in the changing rooms and got a "Don't know" - nothing else! I had to say, "If it had been handed in, where would it be?" to get her to check if they had any lost property, as she wasn't going to bother. I got a similar response when I told someone that the hot water wasn't working - just an "Oh, ok..." - not even an apology! It also is smaller than it looks, so it gets crowded at peak times. Trying to find any space to lift upstairs can be difficult, and you might have to wait for popular equipment. So I'm happy to keep coming here but don't expect more than the basics.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the Manager, Lee and all the staff, of Energie Fitness Leighton Buzzard for all their kindness, positive support, and professionalism. They are a team of inspiration and fabulous fun and hard working people and are a credit to their dedication in their own field of special classes and training, especially Lucy Andrews and Gemma Briggs. Nothing is too difficult to manage. I’ve had the pleasure of doing many an online class with them throughout ‘lockdown’ and working together at the gym which was a fabulous experience. As a retired person over the age of 65, I can thoroughly recommend this well equipped gym, in all your fitness needs, whether it’s for Personal Training, Strength training, Dance, Pilates, Spin, etc. For such a positive journey. Never say never.

Positive experience: Decent gym. But whoever controls the music clearly loved 2010-2012 and can't let it go as it's the ONLY playlist that they play. I wonder if they've heard of apple music and Spotify?

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym for several years, and it has always been good. Generally, there are enough machines for everyone (even in peak periods). I wouldn't say it always has the latest kit, but for the very modest membership fees, it is excellent. (I mainly stay downstairs on the cardio equipment, btw) Although the changing rooms have had a recent, very welcome refurb, I do think there needs to be more bench space to get changed on, particularly when it gets busy.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for the past 4 years while at university and would highly recommend it. Very helpful team, quick responses, great facilities, and the gym freeze option is great for students.

Fantastic experience: After having some minor gym fear on my first day, Phil and his team made me feel very comfortable. Excellent facilities and enviroment. The addiction has kicked in fast!

Fantastic experience: Such a nice gym, with the friendliest staff. Loads of room to do the HIIT stuff I enjoy, like kettlebells / free weights and the odd Joe Wicks. We've had to leave because we're moving house but staff were so helpful with the process. Very sad not to be a member anymore!

Negative experience: I would not trust them. Very disappointing! The gym overall is ok but they do not seem very professional! They ensured me i would not be charged the membership fee for certain months before i joined and charged me for it anyway. Feels like they will do anything to convince people to join but they do not really do what they promise. I asked for my money back but they keep giving excuses and will not do it. It is a Nightmare to cancel too.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant atmosphere and culture. The club is very welcoming and members are all respectful and helpful. I used the club to help me with rehab after having surgery on my spine and always felt comfortable, valued, and supported, despite lifting very low weights on very few reps! All around an absolutely fantastic gym that id recommend to anyone. Price is really great too, and after the first lockdown the team had made changes to allow members to exercise safely, and thanks to the great culture the team have cultivated all members worked together to keep each other safe.

Fantastic experience: The gym has adapted brilliantly to the restrictions that have been put in place, the one-way system, the regular cleaning and pre-booking has made attending the gym safe and enjoyable. The staff are always welcoming and fully aware of the restrictions guiding you through how to safely train. I can't wait for the pandemic to ease off and hope that there is no increased restrictions as I feel the gym have worked really hard to exceed the expected standards.

Fantastic experience: These guys and gals at energie fitness are great, went for the 1st visit since reopening and thought they had done a great job of spacing out equipment, cleaning solutions, instructions, one way systems. Its great to be back!

Negative experience: Nice staff except the cleaner, always have to wait for machines from 8-6. Very old and outdated machines and for the new boxing room you have to pay on top of the monthly cost each time you want to use the gloves.

Negative experience: Great refurb a shame that the jumped up manager of the gym can’t pay his bills and feels the need to turn contractors over for money after refitting his showers. All materials are still the property of A J Doherty contractors (uk) ltd

Negative experience: Equipment in very poor condition after 'refurbishment'. Same old, but fewer, machines. Bearings worn on the inside. Parts missing on the outside and most happily rusting away.

Fantastic experience: This gym is by far the best gym in town. The staff are extremely professional and very friendly. There is always so one around to offer help and support if you need it. The recent refurb looks fantastic. I actual enjoy going to this gym. If your thinking of joining just do it, you wont regret it!

Negative experience: Friendly gym that is competitively priced, however if a machine breaks it can take over a year to get it repaired despite reporting it frequently! And when 3-4 machines break and it gets a bit busy you may as well throw your routine away and just go on the weights!

Negative experience: Place is far too small. Looks huge from the outside but theres too many different rooms around which I'm not interested in. There's only 2 rowing machines downstairs, 3 cross trainers and worst of all for me theres only 3 benches upstairs. Stay away from this place like the plague between 4pm and 8pm. Unless you like waiting.

Positive experience: Good gym and equipment for a good price. Friendly staff. Could do with some bumper plates/round plates and dedicated areas for deadlifts and similar exercises. 14/02 Have since got bumper plates however nowhere to deadlift or row or similar, so everyone stands by the squat racks.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to do your exercise very friendly people and good prices for the registration. I didn't find that they help a lot to understand the place and how the machines it is work. But it is good gym with lots facilities.

Positive experience: This is gym is good value for money, however I do feel like there is more they could do to it to make it better. Some of the staff are really down to earth and one particular lady who work there I would give her 5 stars, when ever I have gone in there she makes me feel motivated to do my best at the gym. The downside about this gym is there is not a pool so you are overall quite limited to machines and the weight machines. There box fit class which they put on is one of the best classes they do.

Fantastic experience: Great gym cheap go join never too busy opening hours reasonable staff always helpful and friendly. Now open 24 hours apart from weekends so even more time to train. Have recently changed to a fob sign in system which is actually good and has the added bonus of making you feel guilty (in a good way) that you haven't been in a while see attached photo. All in all I get the experience I want from the staff who are friendly and do not push anything on you
