Fantastic experience: What an amazing sports centre in a town of that small size! A lot of options, long opening times during the day, fair prices and free rental service.

Negative experience: Soft play is not suitable for non walkers although not informed at paying before admission to the area. Under 3 section is too busy with passing (running) older children. Looks great for walkers!

Fantastic experience: A really nice building

Positive experience: Wish we had more time; this was a lovely stopover between Glencoe and Loch Lomond. 3 year old granddaughter was heartily entertained in both the swimming pool and the soft play. Excellent equipment, and she had the place to herself. Luckily we parked in the local carpark and "avoided" the outdoor adventure playground, which was free. Next time!

Fantastic experience: Good play plark for toddlers and older kids up to 12.

Positive experience: Have been several times for swimming, the gentle slide is open a fair bit and 1 lane usually has been reserved for people who like to do lengths. There is a small kids pool with a fairly steep slide. Their is also a fantastic multistory soft play area for young kids to enjoy right next to the cafeteria area which sells pizzas outdoor wise they have a couple of 5 a side pitches alongside tennis court and another play area. Park in the back carpark where you can get 2 hours free parking ️ rather than the closer parking areas

Fantastic experience: Ideal if your on holiday and it's raining and your stuck for something to do, we used the pool for a couple of hours.

Fantastic experience: We were a family visiting the area in the school summer holidays, we came here twice for swimming, so much fun! Loads of floats/balls etc out to play with, fun atmosphere in the pool with lots of smiles and playing. My kids loved it. Fantastic flume! Better than our local 'Scottish town' pool anyday! Friendly staff too.

Positive experience: Swimming pool is really good. Excellent small pool for young children. Playpark outside is the best in the town and the soft play isn't bad inside either.

Fantastic experience: Nice leisure centre with sensible prices. Public swimming times aren't always ideal but there's no time limit when your in. Made use of the gym too when I visited last year and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Positive experience: Used the gym for a couple weeks. Staff are friendly but the gym itself is very underwhelming. It does the bare minimum really. Weird posters around the place saying no deadlifting zone, where is the deadlift area? There's no platform or anything?

Negative experience: Very bad rules and manager, the water was very cold in the pool, me and my son went to the sauna because we froze in the pool, well the manager kicked us out of the sauna because my son was 11 years old, after that me and my son and 7 year old daughter went to the deep pool, I put swimming fins + a safety board on my daughter and they kicked us out of there too, despite the fact that I was always close to my children... the children cried and said that I had never brought them to this pool, a very harmful manager... I don’t recommend it go there with your children

Fantastic experience: I went there only for the soft play with my Grandson. Turned out that the outdoor adventure park is also amazing. Very reasonably priced too.

Fantastic experience: Visited with family for grandsons first swimming lesson. Staff helpful. Well sign posted. Clean. Good variety of choices at cafe plus vending if shut. Noticed lots of clubs and activities for all ages on offer.

Negative experience: So outdated. Same pool as it was in the 80s. Loads of bits floating in water and not only was water cold so was the air. Think the people of Oban deserve a better pool

Positive experience: Still exactly the same as i remember as a teenager ect. Pool tiles ect could do with being updated. A bit poor looking, still enjoyable swim though.

Positive experience: Used most facilities now. All are good. Kids love the soft play and swimming. Facilities are clean and always a staff member close by should you require assistance.

Fantastic experience: I go to the gym here, it’s a quite friendly environment with ample facilities. Big gym too! All the equipment and outside tennis courts are maintained with high standards.

Positive experience: There's everything you'd need if you're in Oban for holiday. Playpark, warm swimming pool, soft play, football pitches and tennis areas, cafe inside etc

Fantastic experience: As someone who only visits while visiting parents can't say too much apart from that I love the soft play, I've used the swimming pool twice which is great not to overcrowded the baby pool is good, gym, changing rooms, showers and saunas are all in tip top condition.

Positive experience: We went for a swim while holidaying in the area. There are a lot of other facilities such as kids play areas and squash courts but the pool itself is very small. Despite lane swimming supposedly being finished by the time we arrived one area of the pool was still being used for lane swimming and what looked like regular locals were using the remaining area for the same purpose. It's a great local resource but not exactly geared up towards visitors.

Positive experience: Kids soft play and cafe. Decent softplay to use while in Oban for those frequent rainy days. It isn't monitored by staff so it's not uncommon for kids who are older than 3 to go in the toddlers area and run a mock.

Negative experience: Hasn't changed since I last visited 30 years ago. Such a poorly stocked, dingy gym. Changing rooms are awful. Can't believe the cost for such poor facilities. Staff are nice and the place is very clean.

Positive experience: Mixed feelings about this place… Our toddler absolutely loved the amazing playground outside. The pool is also excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. HOWEVER, the pool opening times are beyond bizarre. And the soft play, whilst well-equipped, was full of the most feral children I’ve ever seen on our visit. I’ve never before seen punches thrown in a soft play… The under 3s area was full of 7+ year olds pelting each other with balls, charging around and climbing the netting. It was actually dangerous! So much so that I stood with my very independent 2 year old the entire time after he was knocked over twice by children far too old to be in the under 3s area. When it’s as busy as it was on Saturday, staff really need to keep a keen eye on what happening.

Positive experience: Good workout space if you are able to use the gym out-with peak times. Has all the machines you would need but remember there is basically one of everything due to the size so you may need to work in or wait.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities and very clean. Gym is available. Pool has fun slide for children and adult alike. Separate pool for kids. Water is not cold. Squash courts available indoors and tennis courts outside. Children's play area indoors and outdoors.

Fantastic experience: Came with some friends from the US and played a tennis tournament here last year during July, loved every bit of it. The people in this town and at the Atlantis Leisure centre are kind, friendly and everything I hoped for. Can’t wait to come back to Oban again.

Negative experience: We were forced to leave the gym on Friday night at 9pm despite the fact that the gym officially closes at 10 pm. No warning, no 30 min notice. Just told to leave. Not ok. According to all online information (google, Facebook etc) the gym was set to be open until 10 pm.

Positive experience: Lovely place. My boys aged 11 and 13 used the swimming facilities. Reasonably priced. Girl on desk was welcoming and informative. Not much in the way of slides and stuff, but a good selection of floats to play with. However, I noticed the lifeguard was fully clothed in suit trousers, shirt and brogues. I'm thankful there was no emergency which required the lifeguard to undress his formal clothing and untie his brogues in order to enter the water to save a life. Cafe was spot on, staff were lovely and the soup was tasty and reasonably priced.
