Positive experience: Great place for the kids to blow off steam. It was absolutely freezing though for the parents not taking part.

Positive experience: Fun place for toddlers and upto 7 and parents in stompers busy place on a sunday noon, then there's tag X for teens. staff were Ok and there's canteen although didn't try. There's alot of seating and eating area for accompanying parents

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to take kids who have got to big for ball park play centers. Bigger kids and adults do a kind of obstacle course with timers to test your speed and skill. Gets very competitive!

Fantastic experience: I take my son here for swimming lessons. Receptionists are friendly and amicable. The teacher is amazing. Really friendly and patient with the kids. You can tell she wants them to thrive. Loads of changing rooms and lockers, good changing and showering facilties. My son always looks forward to his lessons. Can't understand why they'd want to close down a thriving and popular facility. It's always full and so much activity whenever I've been. Will disadvantage and inconvenience so many people.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful I’ve rang multiple times on more than three occasions and nobody is answering the phone. If this is the case why cry about the place being shut down.

Negative experience: The kids pool is cold lately, the water or the air, whatever, is cold and I saw people leaving because of that. I found hair bands, ear plugs, soil and plastic wast in the kids pool. Also, is noisy, the pool it self is noisy and they put radio even more noisy. There is no natural light, only artificial light. Save money kirklees council, save money...

Negative experience: Rude women on the desk. I go to play tennis and the staff refuse to let us in until it’s bang on the time. Then you have to walk down and warm up. You can’t hardly get a game in & it’s expensive. A member of staff was very rude because we ran 5 minutes over… there’s no clock & no one is going to stop mid serve to check the time every 10 mins. We apologised but the young lady was just rude. An older lady on the desk with blonde/white hair is unbearable too. There’s just always something. Really bad attitude towards customers. I feel like I wouldn’t be treated this way if i was a 60 year old man/woman. I’m 32 year old. It puts you off going. If there was a decent indoor court somewhere closer then else I would go there.

Positive experience: Great activities for older ones (Tag X) and younger ones (Stompers). If you go at deal times, the price is so reasonable and affordable. Would recommend to anyone! Their catering, however, us where they fall. They don't offer 'basic' drinks, so you have to pay almost £2 for a bottle of pop, they have no jugs for water/squash for the kids to share and they don't really have any small affordable snacks.

Positive experience: Facilities are good accross the board. Over the years i have done the gym, tennis, badminton and swimming. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Swimming wise, if any group are going to be affected, management pick the lane swimming to mess around with, which is frustratingbecausewe are loyaland passionate aboutourswimming. Overall though, it's a thumbs up from me.

Negative experience: I think the centre could do much more to make tennis affordable to people. I was in Cardiff and they charge people annually £40 to use outdoor courts for 2 hours a week. I think the least they could do is children that have weekly lessons should be able to book courts for free to practice, similar to what KAL do for children learning to swim- they can go free any time for swimming.

Negative experience: Staff at the centre are lovely and the facilities are good it’s such a shame the gym membership system is purposely made to be difficult you are unable to cancel memberships over the phone or in the gym and they require 30 day notice however they take your money immediately.

Fantastic experience: Went to Stompers play gym. Great fun with my son. Nice coffee and reasonably priced food. Three areas available, one for toddlers, one for under 7s and one for older children. Great wristband game where you have to run around and tap the wristband on different screens in the play area to collect the shapes and then you see your score on the computer screen. Lovely time!

Fantastic experience: £4 per participants adults free. Clean and nicely set up. Toilets with baby xhanging facilities. Area for lockers and buggies. Play area for all ages. Baby area is a bit small but still enjoyable. Has a sensory area. Food and drink available decent prices. I would recommend and go again. Pram and wheel chair access.

Negative experience: Only 2 hours a week is for public swimming! That's just not enough availability. Not everyone can, or wants to do a length swim. What about a parent wanting to take a child after school? Or someone wanting do a few relaxing lengths and tread water for a while? Pretty much pointless for your average person. Make any wonder swimming baths are shutting down when people can't use them. Or is that the plan, Kirklees...?

Positive experience: Only played badminton but from what I saw everything was well equipped and helpful reception staff.

Positive experience: If your stuck for what to do with kids that are too old for soft play this is it. There will be no "I'm bored" it will get them off tiktok and fortnite. But best of all it's great excersise for them (and parents).

Fantastic experience: Indoor tennis centre. Great team of tennis coaches. Great tennis coach Cezar. I know him more than 13 years as a main coach in another tennis centres as well in Leeds. Great competence as a tennis coach and great experience. If you want that your child start in tennis career in right direction he is a right coach for your child. Car parking always have a space. Cafee. Swimming pool and etc. Recommend this tennis centre not only for kids and for adults as well.

Fantastic experience: Take my two kids swimming for weekly lessons, the entry and exit with the Kal card makes things so much easier to skip the reception queue. A large changing area where haven't had to wait, plenty of lockers. The upstairs viewing area gets rather warm and stuffy though. Also has a large car parking area with good sized spaces. Staff are friendly and patient towards teaching children how to swim.

Fantastic experience: We go here for Stompers. Its perfect for younger children. Great facilities, clean, reasonably priced and you have a good view of the children from the seating area.

Positive experience: Today I had booked in for an aqua zumba class. But when I arrived it had been changed to aquafit. I was not informed of this change. It was not an short notice change because the instructor was on holiday. The aquafit session was unfortunately boring and repetitive and if I had known it was that particular instructor I may have cancelled.

Positive experience: Loved this but it would be good if the staff did more patrols of checking ages of kids in certain areas.

Positive experience: Lots of space .staff pleasent...few cancellations/issues in school holidays with instructors or life guards not turning up..

Negative experience: After we went in and changed our swimsuits, the swimming instructor didn't let us in, and we missed a class because we just were half a minute late! We remember that the teacher was 1 minute late one time and all of people were still waiting for her! No good service!

Positive experience: Great family activity. Would have scored higher if tables were clean, vending machine and slushy out of order/not ready and the Tag X staff had made the instructions clearer. Shouting instructions in each zone did not help us actually hear what was said and not all touch points working properly.

Negative experience: Don't bother ordering food or even a coffee unless you like waiting half hour for it to be sent to your table. Staff were very very slow

Negative experience: Booked Tag X and paid a £50 deposit for a family birthday treat during the Covid pandemic. The whole family tested positive for Covid and had to self isolate. Called Tag X to advise them of our situation and to re-schedule the treat. They told us we had to pay £25 to change the booking to a time when we no longer had to self-isolate. Don't book here if you don't want to risk losing money due to Covid.
