Fantastic experience: Go to health suite and aqua fit loving it. Aqua fit is suitable for people like me who have fibromyalgia

Positive experience: Went to watch my boys football match here.really nice modern place .the football pitches are down from the main reception area. There is a couple of pitches thus many matches can be going on simultaneously. The only issue I have is there are no where to sit. It's worse when it's raining you are just stuck there. I thought a place like this could do with a wee cafe and chairs for people to sit and away from the rain. Would recommend though

Negative experience: Just about swimming ! New to this leasure centre , booked online where it said there is only ever 5 places available for lane swimming at the time I wanted, which I thought 'great, won't be over crowded '; I already know the schools go during the morning. As it turned out there were 9 adults trying to do laps in 1 Lane!! Which is unrealistic since we all have a different skill level, some fast, others slower. Trying to pass each other in a single lane and getting hit by another swimmer going the opposite way. I left anyway. Wanted to ask at reception on the way out when would be a better time but didn't bother because of the younger receptionists attitude

Fantastic experience: I use it for the shower facilities only, but the gym is well stocked with a variety of machines, there is a spa I have seen (but not used) that looks very nice. Have not seen (or been in) the pool. But it is chlorine (most pools in Calgary where I'm from are salt water... Easier on the clothes and eyes

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know this wee gem of a place existed but now that I found it I will be back, very tasty food, safe secure parking for your motorcycle and friendly staff who just bring a nice smile to your day. Fantastic experience: Er we found a little gem of a restaurant brilliant food and very friendly and helpful staff definitely return give it a go

Negative experience: Very old fashioned changing facilities. A modern changing village would be better for families. Very old and antiquated gym equipment. Half the stuff in the health suite is usually cold or broken.

Fantastic experience: Had a tour of the facilities available today. All the staff made me feel very welcome. Discussed membership options as well as pay as you go. Didn't feel pressured at all. The three ladies I spoke to were all so helpful.

Positive experience: No shared family changing room, so leaves it very hard to get kids ready on my own. A little tired and dated, feels nearly dirty. Smaller family pool is very cold. And corridor to pool is freezing However staff are nice and friendly

Positive experience: The pool is absolutely freezing - pretty sure a dip in the Arctic would be warmer! Reception staff also need to learn that smiling and being pleasant is in fact allowed. The lifeguards however were lovely.

Negative experience: Place has gone down hill and only the council to blame not the staff in the centre you have to book the gym and once u book you only get an hour other gyms u can stay as long as you want so that’s harmed the centre and health suite still closed gym is overpriced u have to book the pool also no other gym makes you book btw and treasure island is the only thing left in there for young ones as they can’t really use the pool anymore place has went down hill they have took the covid restrictions abit to far to be honest a lot of people have said that they aren’t returning which is a shame cause it used to be soo good and now I can see this building closing permanently

Negative experience: I think that the Joey Dunlop center was absolutely made perfect for everyone that was going in one door and out the other. No big lines off queue's it was fantastic the way the hall was arranged and left out for everyone going to receive there covid vacation. A great Big thankyou to all involved in anyway you were all a totally epic bunch of people. Nurses Doctors and so many others from all walks of life once again a great Big Thankyou to all forever grateful for your time patience consideration thoughtfulness manners.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, non judgmental staff. Centre is a little dated by getting refurbished bit by bit. Lovely spa area next to the gym with plenty of equipment.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, gym, health suite, classes e.g. yoga, spin, Zumba etc. Good access to swimming pool even when schools are in, unfortunately both pools are close at present until approximately Christmas 2019 for structural work on the roof.

Positive experience: Two swimming pools available. The kids pool has steps down into it at one side where it is 0.5m deep and it is 1m deep at the opposite side. There are l is a small range of pool toys available. The temperature of the kids pool is slightly warmer than the main pool, which ranges from 1m to 2m in depth and feels like it's 25m long. Neither pool was busy and the changing rooms were clean.
