Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to visit and enjoy the facilities, the café is my favourite with genuinely tasty and healthy food, also good to see Padel has arrived in Rutland. So great to see Woolfox work so hard to develop its offering. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I have also enjoyed a couple of events hosted this summer. Big thumbs up Woolfox Team.

Fantastic experience: I have been having regular lessons with Nick Garland at Woolfox for the last 18 months or so and can easily say he is the best pro I have ever worked with on my game. Nick is incredibly easy going and approachable making lessons enjoyable and a good laugh. Would highly recommend him if you are looking for a pro who is friendly, approachable and makes what can seem a very difficult game a simple one!

Fantastic experience: Went to a Sillyboi event with friends at Woolfox on Saturday evening - amazing! The vibe was immaculate - beautiful outdoor seating area and gorgeous green views surrounding. It felt very peaceful.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family went to the summer launch party last week at woolfox. And whilst the weather was typical British weather (raining), the whole event had been planned meticulously to prepare for this. There were blankets, umbrellas and plenty of undercover seating. They had a DJ playing all evening with just added to the good vibes! We all loved the pizza van and the cocktail bar, super impressed with the entire event! Can't wait to come back soon!

Fantastic experience: What a fabulous spot! The summer party on Friday was on point - even though the weather wasn’t so much. Loved the atmosphere, the pizza was gorgeous. Can’t wait to spend some more evenings here.

Negative experience: i was a member at rutland county about a decade ago, its inland links design was a wonderful place to play for all levels of golfer, the needle rough offered up a real challenge, and the fairways/ greens were impeccable. fast forward ten years and i decide to meet an old mate there for a round for old times sake. What i experienced was really quite terrible, its obvious investors have come along and asked for impact and photo scenes for the website, so a few lakes have been brought in with showy fountains, but sadly this was done at the cost of the courses intended rhythm and style. Two signature holes have been wrecked, and the rough is all but eradicated. The greens were a shadow of their former brilliance, there’s no yard markers, or signage to the next tee, and they’re hard to find ! The magic rutland county once possessed has been brutally ripped from the course and what’s left behind is a soulless investment drive, with no sympathy for what went before. There is no clubhouse, only a little cafe in the range that only had bottles or cans on our visit, and they have a zero cash policy . i fell in love with this course many moons ago and i come away deeply saddened by what’s happened to it . great photo for the brochure though !

Positive experience: Lovely place, lovely staff.

Negative experience: !!AVOID AT ALL COST!! Don’t waist your time and your money on this overpriced terrible course. The course should not of been open it was unplayable. It was a sunny warm day and the course was a swampy flooded mess. The sixth green was in awful state there was a random second half cut hole on the green along with massive gouges out of the green. It continues to go downhill with tee boxes on a slope that are horrendously muddy that are in a completely random places. Overall they have completely given up on the course and only care about the holes that are visible from the main complex. There are so many better courses around that are in far better condition actually worth spending £30+ a round.

Positive experience: Golf course was good considering the weather we have had. The "bacon roll" left alot to be desired. First time trying pork jerky!!!! On dry powdered roll!!

Positive experience: Over £21 for two sausage sandwiches and two coffees we won't be eating there again

Positive experience: The gym is nice but there are other local gyms with a better range of equipment. The equipment is the best you can get so a shame they don't have the selection of others. The pool is beautiful but the changing rooms are so hot I've only had one shower because of sweating once out. The issue is that the Fika cafe is open to non members so once you've been to the gym especially at weekends you struggle to find a table that isn't reserved or doesn't have a non member sat at. For £3000 for a couple a year it's an extortionate price for a small gym that you can't then relax with a drink afterwards. It's full of yummy mummies having lunches or brunches or people working. So we won't renew and will be going to Ketton next year which is bigger with more selection and a lot cheaper.

Positive experience: Only there for the golf. Course was a bit scruffy and staff were a bit unwelcoming.

Fantastic experience: A beautifully curated cafe. Great interior design, an eclectic menu for food adventurers and great outdoor space with lovely views. Excellent parking too. The food was exceptional!

Positive experience: Only visited the range which was well equipped with card reader for ball dispensing and range markers and a few flags out on the range. However I personally think there could be some more added to aim for on the range to add a bit of variety. Also the cafe is a big plus for a drink/snack before heading out on a round or just while you're at the range.

Positive experience: Course in good condition, not available on watch or app, didn't see many distance markers. Club house tiny, not big enough for big groups, but very welcoming Second visit, still no distance markers or course mapping, club dose not seem to care about what customers think

Negative experience: Enjoy the course every time I come. Shame about the rude, sarcastic and unwelcoming woman who runs the driving range/cafe.

Positive experience: Decent layout, fairways were quite good, greens had many patches and need work. GPS doesn't work on many holes so needs an update, made worse by not having any yardage markers on the fairways.

Fantastic experience: I have just joined the Woolfox and everyone has been so welcoming, friendly and helpful. All the facilities are amazing, you can come for a brilliant workout or just to purely relax. I have recommended this place to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: One of the best courses to play in winter. After playing the majority of the local courses to me we found Woolfox to be the most playable and in the best condition. As this is a course you can play all year round our four ball has decided to all become members. Woolfox now has a spa to add the impressive facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Its not worth 27 green fee Hole stroke index are wrong Tee boxes are like the rough and muddy. Yes its been wet but they could be hand cut

Negative experience: Re Woolfox. they appear to be spending lots of money on gyms and pools but have forgotten the golf course. The layout of the course has been changed to incorporate 6 par three's, the signage from green to green is inadequate with tee boxes and greens patchy . Worst course I've seen this season ! Perhaps I'm being unfair but will not return. Regards Dave.

Positive experience: Quite like the change to the front nine with the new tees and holes. They need time to settle in.. Condition not that good but it has been a very dry summer. One annoying thing though.. Played around 5 30 and the sprinklers came on the greens as we were played.

Fantastic experience: I really like this golf course and as I’m a high handicapper I’m not too worried about the greens etc. they have been doing a lot of work putting in lakes and they are going to change some of the holes soon. The old club house is under renovation but the driving range has been refurbished and there is a little bar and outside area there which is where all the golf activities are based. The staff are very helpful and Mark the Pro is really friendly too. I’m sure the course will continue to improve, I’m particularly hopeful once the changes to the course are complete they will sort out the tee boxes as some are quite uneven.

Positive experience: Course is in good nick. And looks like it'll be fantastic when the works are finished. What I'd really like to see is more signage. Not immediately obvious where the next tee box is or where you should sign in etc. Other than it's a nice set up.
