Indoor snow skiing & snowboarding centre with an ice rink, swimming pool & gym.

Our comment from FitFit UK about SnowDome:

SnowDome in Tamworth is an exciting indoor snow center that offers a variety of activities perfect for families and individuals alike. Visitors have highlighted the friendly and helpful staff, who provide excellent guidance for skiing and snowboarding lessons, ensuring that even beginners feel comfortable and supported. The center features a beautiful atmosphere with stylish decorations and offers great activities such as snow play areas, ice skating, and seasonal events like the Winter Wonderland and Christmas experience that truly capture the holiday spirit.

Many families enjoy the diverse activities available, including tubing, sledding, and a small petting zoo that brings joy to younger guests. The on-site restaurant is another highlight, praised for its good quality food and reasonable prices, ensuring visitors can refuel after their adventures.

However, some users have mentioned that the facilities can become overcrowded during peak times, leading to long queues and limited time in the snow area, which may detract from the overall experience. Additionally, the noise levels, particularly during events, have been noted as excessive, making it challenging for those with sensory sensitivities. While the pricing is considered high by some, many believe that the experience is worth it, especially when it comes to the quality of lessons and the dedicated instructors available.

Overall, SnowDome is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy snow sports or a festive winter-themed outing, with many guests eager to return for more!

Positive experience: Went to the Santa experience. Not much in the way of snow activities, although plenty of Christmas spirit and great pantomime.

Fantastic experience: Great staff looked after grandson really well on his lesson would recommend to anyone who wants to learn to ski.

Positive experience: We come here regularly for snowboarding, and the instructors are all brilliant. We did the winter wonderland this time, and it was good, I'd recommend going, but if you have anyone with you that struggles with noise definitely look for a SEN session. We found the music before the panto started ridiculously loud, no idea why it needed to be that loud, but it put my son in the start of a meltdown unfortunately which meant he couldn't manage to enjoy Santa's village after, he loved the animals, wanted to go on the carousel but couldn't bring himself to, we went out to the cafe and he went full on meltdown. He absolutely loved the snow play bit though, had me and his dad dragging him around on the sledges the full time. He got interested when he saw santa on stage, but didn't watch much of the panto. I managed to waych it, and it was good. It would have been 5 stars if the music wasn't so ridiculously loud.

Fantastic experience: Had a great fast tracked ski lesson with Paul H. He was very nice and helpful! We also enjoyed the food at the restaurant on site with good value for the set lunch meal.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to say a huge thank you to John, the ski manager for really providing the best customer service I’ve experienced for a long time today. I just want him to know how appreciated it was. My niece hadn’t skied before (I was planning to teach her) and didn’t realise she wasnt allowed on the slope without a lesson. John sorted it all out for us with no charge and even gave me 20p out of his own pocket for the locker. How amazing. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Thank you for making my daughters 2nd birthday party so fantastic. We all had such an awesome time in the snow fun park. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: Have been today for the winter wonderland experience was very disappointed! Was made to look really good from the advertising video, but once you are there they have 2 tiny slides and one slightly bigger slide and then Just a snow track in a square loop nothing else to play on, get given sledges but nowhere to ride them so just have to sit on and walk the loop. Massively over booked the sessions so you spend more time trying to get round other people or queuing to go on the slides to then find out you only get 20-25 mins in the snow then go into a panto which was ok then up into the animal area, disappointed that it was just farm type animals. And one carousel ride that had a massive que to it so Quick Look at the animals and qued for that ride then it’s the session over. Wouldn’t visit again very over priced for what it was.

Negative experience: Our experience with SnowDome 01/12/24 I thought it would be a great start to the pre-Christmas celebrations. We booked Winter Wonderland for a family on Sunday for £108 ( 90 minutes) Positive points: # Very friendly staff # Incredibly clean everywhere # Beautiful, bright and stylish decorations # All the equipment in the right amount # Gorgeous actors of the theater and the goblin deserves an award # The zoo is very clean, animals look healthy and happy. Negative points: All you get going to the snow area for 30 minutes is a little pass - a road covered with high-quality snow, decorations are complemented withlovely music, a photo area and 1 digital photo at the end cost £12, and two very small slides. You can enjoy watching people ice skating (this is not included in the price and time) After that you go into the theater where the temperature changes from -1 to + 20C and the main task is not to pass out because the things you left in the locker to change clothes are not available! (one- way road) The show is a mix of a popular fairy tale Jack in the Beanstalk and a New Year's idea, probably the director also worked on the movie "Megapolis" by Mr Coppola. But goblin was a great actor! Then you go into an area Christmas Village that reminds you of a Christmas market with animals, a carousel and a tent with drinks. You can write a letter to Santa Claus and take lots of photos. Good for children who have not seen snow, animals and a carousel. It's like if you were asked what it's like to be in the desert? And you just put a person in a sandbox and say that it's the same only hundreds of miles around! Oh yeah, and you still have to pay £4 for parking and have a 20p coin for the locker!!!!! The worst experience ever, believe me you can get a lot more for the money! Buy yourself a session of skiing on ice for the family and it's £24 with the Christmas atmosphere .

Negative experience: Booked a lesson for beginners for 2 hours. I wouldn’t waste your time on this. Spent 1.5 hrs in a group of 12 and had 4 turns of practicing stopping. The rest of the time was spent waiting for my turn. Then straight into mingling with another class for the last half hour so then there were 22 of us all waiting for a turn on the slope. Had 2 turns at this. So for the money, it is just not worth it-4 turns at stopping and 2 turns on a small slope -absolutely no chance of being able to learn anything as you just don’t get the chance to try. The instructors were absolutely lovely but felt sorry for them having to deal with so many people at once. It was just unmanageable. One lady left as she had enough. I am not sure they even noticed that as we’re flat out. I think if the classes were a maximum of 5 at a time then that would give customers more opportunity to practice. Also mixing 2 classes on one section was nothing short of dangerous. Coming down on my first try on skis, falling over (as is expected) and smashing into people who were in the next class and queuing at the bottom of the slope was just embarrassing. Would have given zero stars but gave the one star for the lovely instructors who I just felt completely sorry for.

Positive experience: We came to the winter wonderland and I feel once is enough.. Pro - The panto was really well written. Con - A lot of money for what was on offer.

Negative experience: Sickening how corporations can keep stealing money from the public and getting away with it. Absolutely ridiculous day out today at the SnowDome Wonderland. We waited ten minutes to get in to be told, “oh your session has already started by the way so you will only have twenty minutes in the snow, but that will be okay”. The snow room was too overcrowded with about 150 people in there. It was pitch black with a few flashing lights and music so loud it was unnecessary. My family had no chance to enjoy any of the features of the snow room due to how many people were permitted to enter on the same time slot as us. And then five minutes before the end we were ushered into the theatre for the pantomime. The first three rows were listed as “reserved” for whoever (I’m not still sure). And then children (including my own two at 9 months and 23 months old) were forced to sit at the back in a crowded room which was so high, I at 6ft2 couldn’t see the characters on stage let alone my two daughters sat on my wife’s and I’s laps. We left ten minutes into the panto to go through the exit, although my oldest daughter was bending her neck to try and see as she was enjoying what she could hear and was desperate to interact. Onto the next room with the animals and miniature snow village and by the time my daughter had said “hello” to the alpacas, there was already a queue of 50 children waiting to use the merry go around and the room was so small you could not possibly enjoy anything in there due to the amount of guests permitted to be in there at the same time. This has been a farce and a ridiculous waste of money and time to say we had to travel 1 hour to the venue. It is also important to note that we were meant to be in here from 10:20 onwards and we were stood outside the building by 11:00. Parking was paid and the barrier was already raised when we left (another waste of money). FURTHERMORE, the outside of the venue was full of “dwellers” who appeared quite intimidating to the children walking in and out (presumably from the hotel next door). One good thing about our visit today was a gentleman who worked there as we were about to enter the snow room offered some personal care and attention to my daughter who had fallen over on the way and he went out of his way to make sure she was okay. I didn’t get his name but he was a true reflection of a good person.

Positive experience: My Daughter and I went to the snowdome for the festive 1 hour skate. It was on a Sunday around 4pm and it wasn't that busy, with plenty of families on the ice. It was quite difficult to skate as the ice wasn't smooth and had some deep skate marks. Also, the boots are so uncomfortable, I could only last for about 20 minutes on the ice. My daughter enjoyed herself though.

Positive experience: Went for the winter wonderland experience, same set up as previous years. The panto was good, the winter village with the animals was good. Prices for drinks and snacks in the village were extortionate - £4.50 for a doughnut!! The promise of a 'chocolatey treat' at the end of the visit is a Lindt ball for adults - just one and the world's smallest reindeer or Santa for kids. Parking is chargeable - why? So £130+ for the experience and then £4 extra to park. Why charge for parking??

Rebecca Felton 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: We took our toddler to the winter wonderland event & he joined his cousins to enjoy the snow, ride sledges, go down slides on inflatables, watch a quick panto, ride a carousel & write a letter to Santa. Our only criticism is that it wasn't obvious that the time in the snowy area was time bound & that we wouldn't be permitted to return, as we didn't get around everything. The car park was also extremely busy & it took us a while to get off. We ate at the restaurant & the party commented that the food was of nice quality. I had bought some food with me from home. I was told initially that we couldn't eat outside food but after I explained the rest of the party would be ordering & eating but that I had gestational diabetes & was on a strict diet the staff were very understanding & accommodating which was a huge relief as I was newly diagnosed & it had been quite stressful.

Negative experience: If I had a choice I’d give the snow dome zero stars. I am one of 84 people arrived 15 minutes late for our slot due to having to walk with 2 coach loads of people as coaches refused access. Now we are refused access. So now we have been dumped here after travelling for several hours. Our buses aren’t due to pick us up for return journey till 5pm. So please dance yourself the hassle and don’t arrange coach trips to the dome

Positive experience: Got you by the balls really, where else you gonna go? Decent to practice, pretty boring. There was also an issue with one of our group not being allowed on the slopes because of ability (despite being good enough). How else are people supposed to learn though, pay for more overpriced lessons? Seems like a cash trap.

Fantastic experience: Andy G was a fantastic instructor for our Beginner Snowboarding lesson. He was great at adapting the session on the fly when we mentioned my partner was visually impaired so wouldn’t be able to watch demonstrations. Had a really fun time, can’t wait to book another session. Only downside was the music was really loud, it could be heard when we were sat in the car in the car park.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at the SnowDome last night! My 13 year old had his first private ski lesson and the whole set up was fab, checking in, getting his kit and then the lesson couldn’t have gone smoother. The instructor was informative and engaging with him. My son picked it up quickly and had a smile on his face for the whole hour! We enjoyed a lovely hot drink in front of the log burner whilst we waited. The lads in the shop were really helpful too. Looking forward to his next lesson. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We had booked a fast track snowboard lesson for 3 hours, however had some trouble on the road meaning we would be late. Upon phoning reception, the member of staff on the phone who I believe to be called Adele was supportive and managed to rearrange a 2 hour alternative lesson so we didn't waste the trip. The 2 hour private lesson was then given by the instructor Emilia which was perfect and a lot of fun. Really appreciate the supportive and flexible nature at Snowdome. Will be back for further lessons in the future!

Negative experience: I visited SnowDome at 10 am on a Friday, hoping for a quiet skiing session. Instead, it turned out to be chaotic and, frankly, unsafe. Although it was half-term, I didn’t expect the slope to be as overcrowded as it was. People were constantly crashing into each other, and the queues were so long that as a beginner waiting for the lower slope, I barely got any skiing in during my 2hr lift pass. I raised my concerns with the manager, who assured me that they were still just under full capacity (by 1-2 people) , but it didn’t feel safe at all. No compensation was offered, despite the negative experience. Given the recent accident at SnowDome, I would have expected stricter safety measures. Seeing so many collisions was alarming, and I believe SnowDome should reassess its capacity limits to prioritise visitor safety.

Positive experience: Booked a private beginners snowboarding lesson for a family of 5. We had been snowboarding before (many years ago), but it was a first for our kids. Having had lessons at other indoor venues I felt we knew what to expect. The booking was an hour and it was very much a taster session for the kids. I was quite disappointed for a few reasons: - Our instructor was late meeting us. - There was no dedicated space for teaching beginners so we were fighting for space and we were moved around the slope several times. - The slope was overcrowded. This all meant we lost valuable time on the slope. Our instructor was good and engaged with the kids well. The kit staff were great and friendly. Overall, I don't feel like we got value for money and probably wouldn't return to this venue.

Fantastic experience: I recently took snowboarding courses at SnowDome, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The facility is fantastic, providing a perfect environment for both beginners and more experienced snowboarders. A special shout out to Jamie(s), who were my instructors. Fantastic experience: What an amazing day yesterday snowboarding 3hr fast track session 1. We had two groups merged together with two instructors Chris & Will S, this was amazing as they had very different teaching styles to get the absolute most out of the group. Our family had a great time! We were so impressed that we’ve asked for Will S again, he’s great and so much fun! He made our experience so memorable and enjoyable! Today, for session 2 we had Tom, who was just fantastic! He’s so experienced and patient. We had a great time and we all improved thanks to him. He took our son down the big slope, as he picked it up so well this weekend and my son really enjoyed this. Thanks so much Tom We had a great time at the SnowDome thanks to these amazing instructors.

Fantastic experience: My kids love it here for skiing, reasonably priced for under 16 for a 2 hour session. Price also includes all the kit hire, just need to take a jacket and gloves. Remember to take 20p for the lockers. Can get very busy here in school holidays but that's expected. Carparking historically has been problematic, either queuing at the payment machines or the barriers not going up, however this week it was free parking and looks like they are installing ANPR cameras, so hopefully that will sort the issue.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic, unfortunately I've not been to any other indoor ski slopes across the UK to compare but I can't really fault this one. I'm a beginner and have done 2 x fast track 3 hour lessons. All coaches have been very friendly and thorough in their teachings. The bar/cafe is nicely decorated and gives a great continental wooden cabin vibe. Overall a great introduction and stepping stone towards my ski holiday booked in the new year.

Aston Banks 1 year ago

Positive experience: Perfect for beginners, or brushing off the cobwebs ahead of a ski trip. The SnowDome is a good real-snow indoor slope, in good condition. There are two lift options: two rope pulls which will take you about 2/3 of the way up for learners, and two travelators which will take you to the top. Lifts seems to take approx 2 minutes to get all the way to the top. Slope is not particularly steep (perhaps the steepest part may be considered a blue run) and has no moguls etc, and as such is not particularly challenging for anyone intermediate or above. Takes 10-30seconds to ski the full run and as such you'll spend much more time on the lift than you will skiiing. Overall for an indoor slope I enjoyed it, it was exactly what I needed to refresh myself and practice some basics, but after about 90 minutes I was done.

Dom Holmes 1 year ago

Positive experience: Slope: Over the weekend, the slope can get VERY busy, to the point where learners struggle to manoeuvre round people, and those with more experience can't practice due to crowds. This also means that the queues to get up the slope can have 25+ people waiting at any one time. Restaurant: The food and drink options at the restaurant are great, and it has a good view of the slope so those waiting for people can eat and still watch. There are booths which overlook the slopes, but you tend to find one or two people will take up a full booth and never order food/drink, and no priority is given to those who do make an order. Breakfast is served until 11am, and there's a selection of alcohol after 11am too. The breakfast bowls are highly recommended. Lessons: All of the instructors in my experience are brilliant, especially with children. The one-to-one lessons are particularly good, and progress is really fast this way, especially in younger learners. Can't speak highly enough of the instructors, they're all wonderful. The group lessons are cheaper but it does feel like something of a false economy, when the instructors focus is spread across a larger group, and the time actually spent on the slope is lessened due to waiting for others/people being picked up, etc. Positives: Good food and reasonably priced. Great learning environment. Good for first time/inexperienced skiers/boarders. Instructors are brilliant. Negatives: Slopes can be VERY busy. Sometimes difficult to find somewhere to eat and watch the slopes when people perch for hours in booths. No priority given to those ordering in the restaurant.

DAVE DOWN 1 year ago

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place for young chrildren looking to ski. I took my 7 year old child to this place using a child harness. We have skiied before on holiday, so we are not first time skiers. I was told that we could not use the child harness whilst on the slope and we had to leave. I was told that this was policy however having checked the company policy, its not stated anywhere. Why would such a company prohibit a child safety harness on a ski slope? I was also put into a position by the staff where I needed to "prove" my childs ability without the use of the harness. Seemed very unfair, not logical and somewhat very dangerous by the company. The consequence of this request by the slope staff could have been serious injury, if not worse. It does not surprise me that this place is already in big trouble with Health and Safety Executive regarding other issues. I would not waste your time going to this place. Seems like they want to put money first and get punters into their own ski school, whilst trying to omit the use of child safety equipment on their own slopes. A total clown show of a place and the staff seem to make up rules as they go, trying to enforce a policy that simply does not exist. Stay well away.

Positive experience: May worth it if you are local, but didn’t worth the drive. There are 2 lifts both are very annoying. Rope one at the left, you have to hold the rope and takes you half way up, it is a workout to grip that, and doesn’t take you to top. Escalator is also quite annoying, you need to walk with skis to get to it, then walk a little to get to another escalator. Far too many people in the same time. Lessons are quite short and nearly as expensive as learning in the resort. Instructor Ed was really nice, and other staff is also very nice.

Positive experience: My honest opinion is that this is a great place to ski and keep your technique over the summer months. That said, there are issues that could be easily resolved, too. Staff can be a bit hit or miss too, some are really helpful and have given me 20p for the lockers free and when I got stuck in traffic once a young lad changed my time slot so I could still get my full slope time. Other staff members have made me change a £20 note to get 20p and when delayed by 30mins due to an accident on the M42 they did not offer to move my pass so I didn't get the full slope time I paid for. So it depends on who is on the desk to the service you receive. PROS real snow like conditions, some icy bits, some softer bits, good real-world conditions, and the slope is gentle, good for beginners to hone their skills. More advanced slope user can use rails and small jumps when they have them out. CONS The biggest issue is that people ski here who have no ability to control speed or stop. I have seen people crash into others and one guy crash into the padded wall at the bottom going rather fast as he couldn't turn or stop and no one seems to police this, you sign a waver to enter and thats it. Lockers are 20p and you don't get it back. In this day and age, who carries pockets full of change, also they charge for slope time and parking do they need the extra 20p. The exit off the slop constantly causes issues as it is narrow and right next to the exit into the changing/ski rental area, a little mound forms and people stuggle to get out the small exit area and if you are sporting your own skis people stand and ski over them at this point constantly. The top of the slope where you get off the lift is almost pure ice. This makes it hard for a newer skier to get out of the way and get any traction with no poles. All in all, it is a great slope and I ski here between 2 to 4 times a month in the summer. Staff could be more helpful at times, and it does get crowded at busy times, and you have to be careful as some can't control their speed or direction.

Positive experience: The snow wasn't groomed in the kids area. Difficult for kids to learn to ski when it's so lumpy. Nice experience though before our return to Colorado.

Fantastic experience: We had the best time today....thisbplace has everything! Yesterday we checked it out in the afternoon as had booked for today! My two children went swimming yesterday afternoon, funny went snowboarding with a 3 hour lift pass while my two children went skating for 2 hours, a bite of lunch in Aspens bar and then my youngest went climbing! Next time (hopefully Christmas time) we will do the snow fun too! We've had a super couple of days in Tamworth. Thank you Snowdome x

Fantastic experience: I went to learn how to ski... Let's just say I enjoyed the experience so much that I ended up completing my level 1,2 and 3 at Tamworth snowdome and then after completing level 3 coming back and having a free ski for 2 hours down the slope. Let's just say if you want to learn a new skill and have a wonderful experience, with amazing instructors. Come to Tamworth snowdome!

Positive experience: Ice skating session- really great value for 2 hours. My 13 year old grandson loved it. Decor a bit tired in places.

Positive experience: Great snow center, a little narrow when the slope is busy. Not great for more advanced boarding and skiing with the limited safe movement area.

Positive experience: Ok, apart from the power tripping marshal having a go for saying words of encouragement to my daughter which apparently counts as "coaching" and is not allowed. Lighten up mate.

Kelly Rose 1 year ago

Positive experience: Great time ice skating, only issue is they don't appear to smooth the ice over often enough making it too uneven for novice or first time skaters to keep balance

Fantastic experience: I've been learning to snowboard here for a good while now and all the instructors are good, Will S was outstanding in understanding how my brain processes instructions, ignores them and makes up its own. He showed me easier ways to understand how to do turns from toe edge to heel edge and boom, i passed level 3! Cheers Will your awesome Excellent place, staff and food. Look out for special offers to help bring the cost down.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is 7 and has learnt to Snow board over the last few months with Will S. He’s been so good with her and would highly recommend booking a privet lesson with him ! My daughter does not need the lessons anymore but wants to go back just to ride with him. I’m not an expert and also thinking of getting some extra support lessons from him before we go away In Jan. wish we could take him with us for help on the mounting.

Fantastic experience: Great swim and food! We came here for a flume and floats session, children (age 10 and 8) really enjoyed it. The 90 minutes was enough time and arriving at 10am meant it was fairly quiet for the first 30 minutes. We ate in the restaurant afterwards and had two hot dogs and 1 cheeseburger. All meals were really nice and served hot. Every member of staff we encountered were very friendly. Would definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Partner and son had a grand old time ice skating while I watched - well priced for their two hours of skating. I suppose all i can say was the coffee was decent!

Positive experience: Good few hours out but definitely not worth the full price quoted on the website, although I’ve never seen it not on offer. We did the morning club .(£77 for 2 adults and 1 junior) and towards the end of the 3 hours it was getting a bit too busy in my opinion, queuing every time to exit the slope through a narrow gap. Video taken from the start of the session when it was quiet. It’s also nowhere near as cold as you would think. I had to remove a hoody and had just tshirt and a coat on by the end.

Fantastic experience: We went ice skating with a group of Scouts on camp. The main rink is small compared to most, but the addition of the outer loop is great! It makes it much more interesting to skate than on a standard 'ice hockey pitch' sized rink. The process of getting boots and helmets was easy, and the viewing areas were good. My children have asked to return again - not easy given that it's not local for us! However, if we're in the area, we will return.

Negative experience: A very regimented approach by the snowboard instructor spending too long on particular drills to the point it became painful, did not draw on previous experience nor offer any encouragement, left half way through session.

Fantastic experience: 3 of us attended the Level 1, 3 hour session and it was an amazing experience! We are 2 15 year olds and 1 27 year old and none of us had any prior skiing experience. We went in complete novices and came out able to ski (slowly!) with confidence. This was all thanks to the amazing instructors Harry & Matt. They were so helpful and great teachers - they also made it such a fun experience! It was an excellent session that taught us how to ski properly, giving us the confidence to come back next time for the level 2 session. During the level 1 session, Harry & Matt were able to somehow facilitate the session so it felt like you were having 1 on 1 training! We felt very safe and it was a really fun experience. We will be back. Thanks Harry & Matt!!

Will “THE OBSCURE PERCEPTION” Brookes 1 year ago

Negative experience: Area has become unsafe due to the Hotel next door, Can't cycle past without being stared at and shouted at by the residents of the hotel smoking drugs outside looking at every young girl which walks past (VERY UNCOMFORTABLE). Had racial remarks made towards myself whilst cycling through and told to "move them eyes on white boy". To think I grew up visiting, I certainly won't ever be returning. Its not safe in the carpark let alone the actual health and safety on the premises whilst using the slope etc.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to all of the instructors. Especially Jamie R who ran the adults all day snowboarding course. He was so friendly, patient and encouraging! Also to the other instructors who helped us out, Andrew and Will (couple others too), thank you for helping me to get my toe and heel edge for half of the slope. For anyone worried about it, just do it. The instructors dont look down on you, they genuinely want you to get better, and they roast each-other more than they will you ( well not me but I’d have found it boring if they didn’t ). You can tell everyone loves their job and it makes a difference. Either way, I’ll be back for fast track 1 to shred those edges . I will specifically return to have the pleasure of Andrew’s tough love methods and to annoy Will with my sound effects as I panic slide

Positive experience: Great place for snowsports and summer offers. 5 stars for patchy customer service.

Fantastic experience: Had a great snowboarding lesson with Paul C. Kept me going the whole lesson and gave me advice by using context from our conversation e.g. relating it to rugby. This made learning so much easier and I felt I moved on faster as a result. Thanks Paul.

Fantastic experience: We were staying at the Premier Inn and came here on a whim. We only went ice skating ⛸️ for me the first time in 20 years. It was so much fun, the rest of the Dome facilities are awesome. When we are back at Tamworth, there will definitely be a second visit. Value for money and an evening right out of our comfort zone with a big smile

Fantastic experience: Nice few hours practicing my parallel turns on the slopes. Love the changes in the locker/ski/boot area. 2pm perfect time to ski as not too crowded.

Positive experience: Had a good time learning to snowboard on the fast track level 1. :) no queues when checking in either

Positive experience: Snow dome is still doing the job 30 years on. I wouldn't recommend going at busy times else you'll be queuing to get on the travelator all the time. Go outside peaks hours and the experience will be far improved. Also, look out for deals, they make the whole thing a lot more affordable.

Fantastic experience: First time I have tried skiing and I can honestly say I loved it. The coach Joe was brilliant, explained everything in detail every step of the way so relatively easy to pick up on what he wanted us to do. Highly recommend to anyone who fancies lots of laughs and smiles. Loves adrenaline and who doesn’t mind the cold or falling over.

Fantastic experience: We recently participated in the "Learn to Snowboard in a Day" course at the SnowDome, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our instructor, Georgie, was exceptionally kind and patient, guiding us through every step of the process. From learning how to fall properly to mastering twists and turns, Georgie ensured we felt confident and safe throughout the day. The course was well-structured, and food was provided, which was a nice touch. However, a word of advice: make sure you're dressed appropriately. We made the mistake of turning up in jeans and without gloves, not realizing the importance of proper attire. After lunch, we bought some gloves, which made the afternoon session much more enjoyable. Falling over and touching the snow wasn't as daunting with the right gear, although the gloves were quite expensive. I’d recommend purchasing them elsewhere before your visit. Despite this minor hiccup, we had an amazing time and will definitely be returning. We're eager to try skiing next to see which winter sport we prefer before making a final decision. If you're looking for a fun and instructive snowboarding experience, the SnowDome is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Great place to enjoy a small downhill skiing area, gym facilities, large pool, ice skating and rock climbing. There is a clothing store, coffee shop and restaurant on site. A bit pricey for memberships but they regularly send out discounted day pass tickets. Usually very busy on the weekend!

Fantastic experience: I did my ski fast track level 1 + 2, and improver lessons last November; and can’t fault the instructors. (James in particular was brilliant) he was very friendly and informative and the group sizes weren’t too large meaning good one on one tuition meaning I was prepared for my first ski trip. I’ve been to Snozone in Milton Keynes since and the facilities aren’t half as good as at Snowdome! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
