Snap Fitness Belvedere

Positive experience: Great gym with a friendly atmosphere. The gym is well equipped and maintained. Staff are also very friendly, especially Sally who is always happy to help and give knowledgeable advice where necessary!

Negative experience: In May, I decided to terminate my membership at Snap Fitness Belvedere. I sent an email and received a response stating that someone would contact me soon. Not only did no one reach out, but for the fifth consecutive month, they have continued to deduct money from the membership fee. I contacted my bank, which refunded me part of the money, but then this fraudulent scheme known as a fitness centre reclaimed the funds. I have cancelled the subscription several times through my bank account, and a bank employee also cancelled it, yet mysteriously, this subscription reappeared, and they continue to withdraw money from my account. This is the first time I have encountered such fraud, and even the bank has been unable to assist me. I have never experienced such irresponsible and brazen treatment of a customer before. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Snap Fitness services, as you cannot cancel your membership either through them or through your bank. I will now escalate this issue to all possible authorities.

Positive experience: Snap Fitness is an amazing gym with top-notch equipment and a clean, well-organized space. The atmosphere is motivating, and I always feel welcomed when I walk in. The staff is exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to help or offer advice. It’s clear they genuinely care about members' progress. Highly recommend this gym for anyone serious about their fitness journey!

Negative experience: Pros:Nice layout, spacious gym, friendly staff. Cons: Rude members, some of them using 2-3 machines at the time and then complaining when someone else comes over and starts using one of them, people leaving their weights all over the place... Used Snap in Maidstone & Snap in LA, huge difference... just saying...

Negative experience: Everytime I go to this gym there is always somthing broken for example I am still going to this gym and the preacher curl seat is like a sea saw two cable machines have been broken for over a month however the gyms staff are amazing people and keep me at this gym

Negative experience: Been going here for around a month or so. At first impression, the gym is quite big and spacious and there is lots of different equipment, however, I noticed very quickly that it is super crowded and very difficult to get on the machines you need due to the amount of people in there at once. You end up waiting around and by the time a machine becomes free, your muscles have started to cool down. I have tried visiting the gym first thing in the morning at 6:45am, in my lunch break at 12pm and after work around 6:00/6:30pm and its still just as bad to the point where I don’t really think I can say I’ve been able to have a decent workout since coming to this gym. I’ve cancelled my membership as I think it’s a waste of my money when I could be at another gym that isn’t overly crowded. I’d rather travel further in order to find a gym worth paying for. Please Snap Fitness, stop allowing the sale of so many memberships, it just makes people want to cancel.

Negative experience: USELESS STAFF NO ETHICS. MY CARD WAS NOT WORKING EVEN I PAID FOR CARD AS WELL. 10 TIMES I GO BACK WITHOUT GYM 7 TIMES MEET AT RECEPTION EVERY TIME SAME ANSWER IT'S WORKING IN 2 HOUR. NO RECOMMENDED THIS GYM AND CARTOON STAFF.

Negative experience: Snap Fitness Belvedere is a cheap gym. It has all the equipment you can want. No wait time on machines. Staff are helpful but the shower room has a smell of poo. You walk into the toilet and they are blocked. I've been here 6 months and this is a regular problem. I've said it to staff and there responses is we have called someone.

Snap Fitness came up as a first suggestion and I do not regret it at all. Negative experience: AVOID!!!!!!!! Worst gym I've ever been to, maybe not in terms of equipment but payment policy. I bought a package for £40 which allowed me to end my contract at any time at no extra cost, unfortunately I found out that despite the end of the contract I will be charged £40 again, I consider this pure theft, especially since I give him back pass and said I would not use the gym more. I do not recommend, I found half cheaper and without any problems, you pay for a month in advance, you don't pay, you don't go, simple. AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 5 months now and the vibes are chill, relaxed and everyone is welcoming but keeps to their own. The equipment is maintained really well and the gym is always clean and ready whether it's 8am or 9pm. Staff are always on hand to help and support you when needed and im really happy to have found a space I can work out and not feel conscious. Also 10/10 tunes on the playlist ✌

Positive experience: Gym but itself it's okay especially coz of a 24h access. However I tried to contact the customer service several times on the phone and via email . No respond at all. I'm working on the hours when staff members are there so I can't talk to anyone while I'm there. That's very frustrating...

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Snap Fitness for over 2 years. The staff are very friendly and they have a variety of different equipment to use and duplicates to save waiting for one machine. You get a lot for your money for example the daily classes e.g boxing, yoga and multiple more. They also have a health hub inside to get protein smoothies, waffles, pre workout drinks and much more. I would recommend the gym to anyone.

Negative experience: I suffer from anxiety and autism and I was making a huge step for myself entering a gym. The person showing me around, Emma Ly, was very rude, unwelcoming, condescending and ableist towards me. I have developed a phobia of gyms because of her.

Negative experience: Falling apart. Most of the equipment is damaged or broken. There's always at least one machine out of use. Most of the handles/bars/ropes for the cable machines are in need of replacing or can't find a pair. Most of the benches are torn. Literally the ceiling had fallen in & wasn't repaired for ages, if it even has been yet.

Fantastic experience: First time at Snap fitness Belvedere today and was shown around by Sally who couldn’t of been more helpful. Overall excellent gym with really friendly staff would definitely recommend.

Positive experience: The gym is pretty big and facilitated with good equipment, lockers, shower rooms, aircon, etc. It is also reasonably clean. What could be improved at a fairly low cost is some of the minor equpiment really cries for replacement or to be fixed. For instance - handles, tricep ropes, pull down bar handles - really need to be replaced as no longer safe to use, the experience and safety could be easly improved here! Gym box should be really replaced, the outer shell is gone so it is left with the polystyrene core, not the greatest impression and experience to use, slippery and messy to use as it crumbles. 5kg barbells also pretty much stripped of the vinyl coating, look like it is time to recycle/refurbish them. Lining/cushioning of some of the benches have been also completely worn out. Some sanitiser dispensers have been broken off the wall and not refixed for months, etc. Those little things here and there really need someone to look at as most of them are reasonably easy and fairly cheap to improve.

A special shout out to staff member Emma who is constantly cleaning the equipment to keep members safe, not to say she is super friendly and super helpful! Can't think of a better gym to train at. Positive experience: The club is good, mostly clean with an odd day without toilet paper. I carry my own now just in case. The gym has all the basics. After over 10 years opened, the equipment could benefit from being updated to avoid machines being out of order so often, and other items could be replaced, such as the studio exercise mats. Overall, it is good.
