The Amphora Suite at Playgolf Colchester

Fantastic experience: We hired the Amphora Suite at Lexden wood golf club for our wedding reception this weekend and could not be happier. The communication from start to finish was amazing, they gave us complete flexibility of the space and we had the best event because of this. The event organiser Gary and the staff on the night, were amazing and could not of been more accommodating and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Positive experience: Decent course, very furm greens. Wont let you use a buggy past 3 oclock for 18 holes because they shut at 7. Why do they shut at 7 in summer, its light until 22.30. Also with a buggy coukd definately get round in under 4hrs.

Positive experience: 1st visit to this facility,only took family to the driving range,plenty of parking space, open main reception,lots of indoor,heated driving bays,very clean and in good order,looked very nice and up to date facilities, restaurant,etc,will be going back again,for driving range and maybe next year will manage to get a game of golf in as well.
