Negative experience: Alarm wouldn’t stop (it was on before I got there and it was still on when I left). No way of contacting staff because it’s outside of their working hours.

Fantastic experience: Small but has everything you need. And because it just went 24/7 that makes it 9/10 Virtually empty after 10pm

Negative experience: Gym is super overpriced and tiny. It is always packed with people who don’t even pay for the gym. Literally saw on multiple occasions of people using the fob to let their friends in. People in there doesn’t seem to know how to put stuff back to the place they found them. Dumbbells are on the floor everywhere. Had a few rude encounters where other members just straight up took the dumbbells from my feet without asking.

Negative experience: I am a member of gym. I mostly go in the morning and sometimes in afternoon. When I go in morning, there is no tissues in the toilet. I went to gym at 11:00 today. The staff is sitting in a chair in their office but the gym is very dirty. Nowadays the dumbles are also not in their places. At first, I was happy but nowadays, I am disappointed.

Negative experience: This gym is 98% male gym goers. It’s very busy all the time, even if you go late the weights area is not female friendly at all, and nobody is wiping the equipment after they’ve used it, sweaty dirty smells everywhere. The changing rooms/ showers are unisex and filthy, men hang around them just chatting or swearing In Punjabi loudly. They have a nice woman only studio, however there’s no music in there and no atmosphere, also men keep entering the women’s only studio to take dumbbells, at one point I had 3 men bust through the door to collect 6kg dumbbells, when I expressed that I wasn’t happy with them coming in like that they gave me attitude and were rude, which was quite intimidating as I was the only female in a dim lit studio with 3 men at the door, after reporting this I discovered that the CCTV camera doesn’t record for me to point them out. This gym has become 24 hours, imagine going late to this gym during unmanned hours, it’s not safe at all. I will join pure gym, cheaper and safer and slightly cleaner

Fantastic experience: Energy Fitness Hayes is hands down one of the best gyms in the area. The facility is always spotless and filled with state-of-the-art equipment that caters to all fitness levels. A special shoutout goes to Rashad, the Sales Manager. He is simply outstanding! Rashad is not only professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about helping members succeed in their fitness journeys. He’s approachable, always ready to answer questions, and goes above and beyond to ensure members feel welcomed and supported. His positive energy and dedication make a huge difference. If you're considering joining a gym, I highly recommend Energy Fitness Hayes—and be sure to ask for Rashad!

Positive experience: The gym has overall nice equipment and plenty of machines. I like the ladies only exercise area. The gym is not super clean but I use it due to it's convenient location. I wish the free weight and resistance machines area included ladies only timings as well!

Positive experience: No hip abduction machines, pullup bars attached to squat rack spend most my time at the bags doing cardio and kicks and the changing room is mixed..standard session..it works! But just not for me.

Negative experience: I am so upset. I have been told multiple times I’m going to be contacted about my issue but the team has continuously ignored me and my issue. After cancelling my full membership in October. I have been charged for months and months and after the team contacting me and me contacting them. They’ve given me so many false promises of a manager calling me for weeks and weeks and there has been no contact. I’d like to take this further and make an official complaint to your HR.

Fantastic experience: Solid gym. Plenty of stuff to get a good pump in. Been going for only a couple months but the lads made it such a sick time and helped me from big to HUGE!!!

Fantastic experience: Really good gym. My son recommended me to join to help me build some muscle and it really helped. The boys working there are also so sweet and helpful when I'm leaning new exercises.

Fantastic experience: I've been with the hayes branch for over a year, convenient as I live nearby. Good equipment, very clean, boxing bags are a great addition for me. 6:30am classes with izz have changed how I work out for the better. Staff are a friendly bunch.

Fantastic experience: Good atmosphere ,clean, attentive staff especially rashad and Mark, tried a couple of classes and I'm swept off the floor it was so worth upgrading my membership I highly recommend you won't be disappointed and its convenient as its right next to the station.

The staff especially Mark has been so amazing and always very helpful. Negative experience: Decided to cancel my membership as I was not using it anymore however the cancellation process was a nightmare. After cancelling on the website, I received confirmation from the gym that my last payment would be on 16 December. I emailed the third party direct debit company who also confirmed this. But when I checked my online banking on 2 Jan I saw another charge for a full month payment to the gym. I called the gym twice and they said they will contact the direct debit third party and call me back but they never did. I don’t understand what’s the point of going through all these steps to ensure your membership is cancelled successfully and then end up still being charged with no help from the gym.

Negative experience: 3rd time I have come to the gym at around 6:30AM and it has not been open. advertised as being open at 6AM very frustrating when you want to get a work out in before work!

Positive experience: It's okayish. Not worth the price of £40. It should include more features for that. Sauna, swimming pool etc. Got loads of equipments though.

Fantastic experience: Been at this gym for 19 months now, having previously had memberships in Gymbox, virgin active and pure gym- this is by far my favourite gym and it’s predominantly down to the cleanliness, the people that work there and the atmosphere they create . Went to a class for the first time yesterday which was run by Rashad and it was incredible , it was the perfect balance of intense and fun and he kept all of us engaged throughout and we all ended up wanting to stay for the second class. As lame as it sounds I actually look forward to coming into the gym knowing I will always have a friendly convo/ some banter with the people there

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for a couple of months. Gym equipments are okay and the facilities are quite correctly maintained. I'm putting 5 stars especially for the staff and the manager- very agreeable, smiling, accommodating, and flexible people. The only reason I am cancelling my membership is because I am moving home.

Spacious with two floors of grinding area ( weights & functional/ cardio). Never had a dull workout here and huge shoutout to all the staff - Mark, Rashad , Izzy , Owen and others . Positive experience: I started energie fitness from the date it opened. All the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. Mark and Rashad have been helpful in terms of ensuring my membership payments are consistent and affordable as a student. Owen has been great PT and Jerome, both who always helps me correct my form in my workouts, all the PTs in the gym are able to give advice and guidance and are very approachable. Although, I have moved around to different gyms before, it is great having staff that are helpful and supportive even when I leave something at the gym or need help with a query - I can trust that the issue will be sorted. I enjoy my time at the gym and hope that soon there will be a hip thrust/leg machines.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing place, the stuff are great particularly Mark, Owin and Rashad. Very friendly and the gym is clean and tidy. It even has deodorant free to use in the changing room area. All the equipments are tech gym and great. The only problem is that it's tiny and does not have sauna. I'm happy with the great service they provide.

Positive experience: Only visited due to my short stay in hayes however, I was greeted by 2 Kind members of staff named (Rashad/Carvel) who showed me around. The equipment is amazing and my experience was great. Only thing to improve would be to raise one of the boxing bags because they are abit low down for taller people. Fantastic experience: My wife and I were at the StayCity Aparthotels. Found this gym on Google and must say, I was happy I did. Friendliest staff, great equipment, nice members. £10 day pass is well worth it!

Negative experience: I chose this gym as a secondary gym as it is only a stones throw away from me. day 1: walked in and was welcomed. given a FOB for access and was shown how to use it. gym was clean, quiet but the showers and toilet stank like you know what. this was about 3pm in the afternoon. day 2: 5.30pm. completely different experience. walked in and was stared down by the gym staff (black kid who thinks he bruce lee). gym was overcrowded with kids. some gym users smelt of B.O really bad and some gym users do not have the decency of dressing in gym wear/loose clothing. the last thing I want to see at gym is bum cracks and smelly gym users. the free weights section looks like it was set up and spaced out by an amateur. i was actually thinking of getting my wife to join alongside me BUT this one time, unwelcoming experience has unfortunately forced me to cancel my direct debit (one bad experience is one too many). I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Positive experience: Modern gym, enough equipment for a good workout and well kept.

Positive experience: Had a look around a few months ago and the equipment is actually modern and brand new which is fantastic. 5 stars for that, and staff are really polite and friendly. It's a little bit on the small side but has all of the equipment you would need. I was shocked to learn of unisex changing rooms when I visited. With the rising awareness of women's safety I find this a glaringly poor choice. I am a man and I wouldn't want my wife or daughter or any other female relative (or otherwise) using shared facilities like this. I'm all for equality but there has to be a line drawn. I don't know if this was a political move by the gym or down to saving costs on having to build out two separate washing facilities but in my honest opinion this needs to change. I wouldn't want any adult woman to feel vulnerable or feel that their safety is compromised in any way. I would refuse to use such shared facilities for the mental benefit/ security of women. Aside from this point, the gym has promise. If it gets busy I'd imagine it would fill up quite quick given its size. Note to management, please reconsider changing the changing facilities. Edit: Appreciate the comment from management about the changing facilities but I have to disagree. There isn't any clarity on the rationale behind the design choice. Why, in a gym, was the idea even entertained to have a unisex changing room? Having shared changing facilities for both men and women in a gym is a rather alien concept and quite frankly absurd in my mind regardless of the 'private' pod structure. The closer proximity to men you have for women to change, the higher the likelihood of an incident happening (but I hope not of course). On this point you won't be able to convince me. There is no logical reason that I can accept for this design choice except to save money on not having to build out two separate facilities for men and women.
