Negative experience: This review is about the cleanliness of the centre, particularly the studio. I do a class on a Monday ,and pilates on a Tuesday. The studio is filthy. It needs a deep clean,with chairs, equipment being moved and cleaned. It may get mopped in the middle, but the dust and dirt is so visible, When on the floor doing pilates it's even worse. Where the chairs are stacked near the blinds is gross. It may be lack of direction to the cleaner as what she is supposed to do? It may be moving equipment etc is not in her remit, if that is the case then others should be responsible to move these items. I did point this dirt out to Chelsea one of the managers. Let's see what is done. Also the toilets don't flush properly And the kiddies session on none holidays session need to clean up after themselves. Most of the staff are friendly. Hope to see some difference when I return after the holidays.

Negative experience: Considering the size of the gym, equipment and the current state of the gym, they should not be charging anywhere near what they’re charging. The gym is extremely dirty with accumulated dusts on and around equipment. Equipment can do with regular wipe down. The carpets have surely seen better days!! If you want to do any floor exercise, don’t bother! You will be sickened by the close sight of the carpet. It is too obvious the whole place hasn’t been vacuumed in months! Gym mats are cheap, worn and stained so those wouldn’t help you either. One would have thought the level of maintenance and cleanliness would have improved since the refurb but instead it is worse! What’s the point of a refurb if it is going to be left to slowly deteriorate?! It was cleaner before the refurb! People are paying to use the equipment, the least you can do is keep the space and equipments clean!

Positive experience: I have been using the gym and attending classess and noticed that it is really dirty. Which is disappointing, the equiptment is dirty, studio and changing rooms floors are always dirty, no attention to details. It used to be a great gym. Went to Copley a few Fridays ago and was so much cleaner and friendlier. I found the staff really helpful as well as I wanted to know more about the clip and climb and a young lad showed me around and explained each area. I would expect the same standard in all the centres

Negative experience: We started our daughter months ago ... went of to a brill start infact she lovedddd gymnastics here it really helped her wildness whilst being tested for being on the spectrum .. months down thw line trying to change her classes because the times are way to early or way to late and its impossible ... missed weeks of lessons because traveling isnt easy we have been paying for lessons she cant attend due to never having the times we want .. way to full and no way of getting the times we want even when we pay for it

Fantastic experience: Gym had an uplift. I love all the new equipment and how modern it looks like. I would like to see a bit more of other machines as at the moment there seem to be a lot of floor space unused. Positive change for sure

It is a shame that it is on the edge of tameside, because some of its offer is difficult to get to, but then if we're somewhere more central the locals where it is based wouldn't have the resource. Negative experience: Still no MOD or ex-service personnel discount. 5 Years later after being told they were definitely going to be offering this. NHS get a discount though, but I guess fighting for your Country doesn't have that same "virtue signalling" pull that the NHS and lockdowns had. Joined another gym instead for £14 a month (with MOD discount), 24/7 access and better equipment.

Fantastic experience: Two great 5-a-side astro turfs with two perfectly flat full sized grass pitches next to them, the indoor facilities are great and the staff are friendly. Would recommend to anybody looking for a good place to have a kickabout or trying to get into a gym.

Fantastic experience: Great staff always happy to help and offer solid training advice. A welcoming gym where after a few sessions you'll feel part of the family. Shame the boxing suite has closed, that was the biggest draw for me but it's still my local and o can get most of the excercises I want done.

Positive experience: It offers an exceptional view of more than 7 major towns in greater Manchester starting from Manchester, Trafford, Ashton, Salford, Stockport, Stalybridge, Hyde, Mottram etc. In addition, looking to the opposite side, you're welcomed with the stunning galloping hills on peak District. Words can't really describe sight.
