Positive experience: The room sizes are either huge or small, the gym feels crowded and overbearing. Also, and this maybe a one off but the gym definitely needed a clean last time I was there. Other facilities of the centre are decent but I feel the use of space has been used inefficiently. A careful rethink and this could be a great sports centre.

Negative experience: Centre fine but parking there is now a joke. Easy pickings for enforcement. Another cash cow for Rct. Bit of common sense would not go a miss especially as car park greatly reduced. But as usual Rct council don’t give a dam about community.

Negative experience: I see a lot of positive reviews here. However, the availability of the pools is very minimal for a partially publicly funded service. I assume this is because they have allowed themselves to become so oversubscribed for swimming lessons that this is the only way to bring the waiting list down. The website is also NEVER updated despite a new swimming pool timetable frequently being released. Also, they have THREE pools not two, so it's not very helpful having a timetable for only two! When I did use the baby pool, there were kids charging around, wrestling each other and generally being rather unruly with little supervision from parents/grandparents or the lifeguard. It wasn't a particularly good environment for me to reinforce the learning my baby gets from the swimming lesson we take her to outside of the county (as we were told not to both trying to enrol because the waiting list is so long!) I also found the girls on reception rather unhelpful, particularly as I said I hadn't used the centre before. I was pointed towards the changing room but given no information about whether there are family changing rooms, which pools are suitable for babies etc. They were more interested in filing their nails! I spotted that the men's changing room also had children on the sign, but isn't an indicator of whether there are family changing rooms available, particularly as there really isn't anywhere useful in the ladies to change a baby. I wasn't going to charge into the mens and get a fright! Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of option to go elsewhere so I'll have to grit my teeth and go with it!

The new pool makes it easier for families to swim and the baby pool is always warm. Staff are friendly - only challenge is the changing rooms. Sometimes their super hot

Negative experience: Went to go to the pool, checked the website before leaving in the car, driving down from porth, arrived to be told that it's not open after 3 o'clock and they need to update the website, it should of been done immediately, fuel prices are through the roof!

Positive experience: Staff are always friendly, it is a busy leisure centre the car park does fill up, but generally you can always park. Gym and swimming facilities on site as well as various other activities.

Fantastic experience: Had a nice time in the pool. Not too busy. All nice and clean. The staff were lovely. The Gym facilities are good too. Not too busy when I was there. There's equipment there for all levels of exercise or weight training.

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre and I highly recommend. We went for an hour long swim. There are no frills to the pools but everything was fine. There are 3 different pools and a diving area. There were diving classes going on when we were there. Parking was great. There's a gym there but I didn't go there.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Leisure with great facilities. Usually tend to go on Sundays for a family swim time. Parking is great and staff are very friendly. Much better to travel the few extra miles to benefit from this facility.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to work put here, friendly staff and service, lots of equipment to exercise all parts of the body with the majority of machines being the walking, mountain hike, escalator machines and lots of them for busy periods. Could do with a bit of a bigger stretch out area for warming up without machines.

Negative experience: Call in for information. Phone call ring for 14mins+ straight and still no staff pick-up the phone line!

Fantastic experience: Loads of equipment and people were really nice. Lots of continuous cleaning and plenty of sanitisation equipment available

Positive experience: Equipment is good for the most part, some machines do need replacing though. Quiet during the evening and morning hours. Total cost for 1 child and 1 adult is £9-£10 which is a bit pricey and should be lowered considering the obesity epidemic in the UK, where gyms should be encouraging people to attend, not keeping prices as high as they are.

Fantastic experience: Has cross trainers, treadmills, exercise bikes, weights, weight machines and spin bikes. Free water fountains, toilets just outside the gym. The pool is slightly warm. Looking at the pool as a bird's eye view, so the pool is landscape, shallow on the sides and gets deeper as you go to the middle. Baby pool which can be used for pool parties. There is a dojo, squash courts and sports halls. Male and female changing rooms with lockers

Positive experience: Overall a decent gym however it can a lot of the time be overcrowded as there is not really much space. If you are not 16 you should maybe not go because they don't allow members who are younger than 16 to use the free weights.The staff are helpful and polite but public diving is not aloud as they are used for diving lessons in addition to this the public swimming pool is also limited to certain times as lessons such as swimming lessons and water polo take up much of the time.The music in the gym is never very good and the atmosphere is like that of a care home. The second room in the gym is often closed for classes and when the gym is crowded this worsens the problem. The martial arts classes such as the WCKA are great however its not exclusive to the gym which means a membership to the gym WILL NOT pay for these like they do for some other lessons like for example diving however this would not be a problem if the gym was not so overpriced (£3.30 *One day access to gym not including lessons) so if you regurlary come to the gym you need to buy the yearly or monthly membership to save money in contrast the machines in the gym are very good such as the treadmills which have a screen on them to watch youtube,listen to music and etc.
