Fantastic experience: Recommend to anyone starting gym, very knowledgeable and helpful staff! Ben, Melanie and Raffa were friendly and welcoming, they do anything they can to support and help, even helped me with a workout plan for each day!

Negative experience: Fantastic gym. Very clean. Been here for 4 years and it’s never failed me as a gym - I was only told to give a 5* review as that would allow me to get a prize from the gym…which I never received. Therefore, I rescind my 5* review and I shall tell the truth. (As the above is a complete lie) The only reason I go to this gym is to spend time with my mate as he won’t leave this gym and he’s my gym partner. However, it’s probably the worst gym I have been in. It’s full of mould that’s very easily spotted and looks as though it has never been treated as I have watched it spread over the years. The staff are slightly strange and don’t seem to make much effort with the members. Just the ones they like. Most times I see them they lock themselves in the office with a takeaway. The deadlift/squatting stands have never seen any attention, the skirting of the equipment is coming away from the wood flooring. At some point it will become a tripping hazard.

Negative experience: I trained here for over 3 years and one time I would have given 5 stars for this anytime fitness but not now. There are so many issues and you can tell by how empty the place is nowadays. Firstly the staff, they are very antisocial and never even crack a smile or say hello. They hide away in the office and have covered the window with a poster so if someone hurt themselves then how on earth would they know The place is filthy, mold on the ceilings and the equipment almost never gets cleaned. I don’t think I actually saw the dumbbells ever get cleaned, it was just grim. This anytime just cares about posting silly tik toks then keeping members. I hate leaving bad reviews but this in my opinion needs sorting.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym, equipment and the gym as a whole is always clean and tidy and well looked after by staff. The staff are always so welcoming and are always there to give help and support to everyone! It’s almost like walking into family with how they treat me and each other. Would recommend to anyone who’s just starting their journey from the minute I started they’ve always pushed me to achieve what I have done so far through encouragement and support and continue to do so! Fantastic experience: I went to this gym this afternoon and the staff members Mel, Ben and Dee were very lovely and helpful. They went above and beyond to deal with my initial gym anxiety and I felt very welcomed. I would definitely recommend this gym based on the service alone.

Negative experience: The gym itself is fine and the facilities are good however please be aware when you sign up of the cancellation policy which is conveniently in the small print. A 12 month contract then becomes a rolling contract if you don't follow the cancellation process through the club and you won't be notified of this. Letters or emails to cancel are not accepted as cancellation and you will incur extra expense if you think you have cancelled by this method.

Fantastic experience: Lovely little gym, very friendly, great equipment, shower rooms. Free parking I was working away from home. I found this gym, which kept me out of the pub after work, lol. Grantham is a great area.

Fantastic experience: I have been using the gym for a while now training and getting ready for my upcoming ice hockey season in America. Anytime fitness Grantham staff, especially Ben and Mel, and the facilities have given me the opportunity to push myself. Although the equipment may not be brand new, it is perfect and has everything I need to be able to complete my summer workouts. The staff have been nothing but welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this gym to anyone whether you’re an athlete or starting out.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend AF in Grantham. It's a very welcoming space with supportive staff. Equipment and facilities are all very clean and tidy. I've always felt uncomfortable in gyms but Viktoria and the team are super helpful and is always available to advise and encourage. Good range of equipment and classes. I love their community support too !

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service. I joined in Oct 2021 and did not get told I would be entering a 12-month fixed contract. I emailed retention in Nov 21 to cancel and they alluded to the very small print on the signed document that I was not made aware of. It has since gotten to the 12 month point and they are charging me an extra month ‘cancellation charge’. In the current climate, I find this despicable behaviour from both the Grantham branch and Head Office. The kit is old (barbells and plates) and that is why I wanted to leave. I’m with AUK now (have been paying double for a year) and I must say that AUK are so much nicer and able to assist in every eventuality. They don’t sell a lie like Anytime Fitness. Save your money people.

Negative experience: Not sure where to start really, joined back in February 2019, this was my first experience in the gym industry. First impressions were positive, however this façade soon wore off. I was approached by one of the staff members (who I might add, still works there) on Instagram. I had seen they were flaunting a ‘new online health and wellbeing business’. They had messaged me explaining they were looking for women to join their ‘team’. After messaging back and forth they had passed me onto their ‘coach’. I swiftly became very dubious of the whole situation as it hadn’t been mentioned what this ‘health and well-being business” was in fact a multi level marketing scheme, Arbonne I think. At the time I was an impressionable seventeen year old but luckily was aware of the damage these network based schemes can do and I was quick to politely decline this offer after finding out. Put bluntly, I was disappointed. I would’ve expected it from another member perhaps, but not from a staff member. This gym has had a track record of unprofessional staff, past and present. For a plethora of reasons. Cancelled my application from the start of lockdown around March 2020, I’ve heard about how it is now, it’s not positive. Expensive prices and below par facility, dusty equipment and grimy bathrooms. Would be easy to find a lower priced gym with higher standards and better staff with a professional attitude.

Negative experience: Anyone actually know why they're not 24/7 anymore or are they? says on google they are not...

Negative experience: More & More gyms are offering membership without a contact, chose one of those, then if you are sure your going to keep going use anytime, as it is a good gym i just really don't see why a good service would need to sign you into a contact, if its good and you use it you will keep paying anyway. Staff are nice people.

Negative experience: Worse experience ever. It is a nightmare to cancel your membership. There was a lack of information from the beginning. You are forced to pay £35 for the fob key and now I realise that I just wasted my money
