Fantastic experience: Loving the facilities at DL WB, and getting lots of use out of the Padel courts. Would be even better to get a couple more Padel courts with some cover if possible. Spa and swimming facilities are also fantastic, and my son enjoys the crèche and kids activity classes.

Fantastic experience: Was unsure about rejoining the club after two years. Rang and spoke to max and he convinced me to come in for a day and try it out. He was super helpful and helped me set up absolutely everything with my new membership! Excited to try out the new spa and padel courts!

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I decided to join this club! I spend most of my day here. The workspaces are fantastic, and their Pilates and yoga classes are incredible. The spa is the perfect way to unwind after a great workout. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: This is a place with great potential and, in principle, the best that is offered in this region, but:1. the barrier is broken at the entrance 2. one cleaner in the locker room and pool cleans during classes, which is completely inconvenient for visitors and the place cannot be called clean-puddles in the SPA constantly.3. I decided to enroll the child and communicated with the reception, sales and many departments.No one explained to me that his membership only includes babysitters in a kids club and you have to pay extra for karate, tennis, gymnastics and swimming.In general, after I signed up for membership, the club employees abruptly stopped being interested in me and for no reason did not come to the meetings appointed by the well-wishers.It is also impossible to get through to them.If you add to this a dead frog in an outdoor pool and tasteless food in a restaurant, as well as the desire of the club to fill it with people to capacity, a cold pool in a spa that does not work for a month, then the club certainly does not pull into its category.I wish the club's management to correct these shortcomings and pursue quality, not money and the number of guests.I will add that yoga is wonderful.

Negative experience: this place is absolutely filthy! I have wasted my membership for months as the state of the pool and changing rooms are awful. I am paying for a membership at OureGym as well and there facilities are 10x better. The hygiene survey found rats and I have emailed to ask what they are doing for members regarding paying their membership when their facilities are so poor and had no reply in over a month. Have called the gym and it goes straight to voicemail. Avoid

The facilities available are top of the range, extending from the spa to the gym and restaurant. All the staff are very welcoming and eager to help, whilst maintaining full professionalism.

Negative experience: Overpriced for the service you get. The receptionist (Emma) is very UNFRIENDLY. Wouldn’t recommend becoming a member.

Negative experience: The air con at this gym is completely ineffective, and it gets uncomfortably hot and stuffy as soon as the temperature outside gets above 25 degrees. Even the management team agree but can't do anything about it. Apparently they are getting a new manager in September and that might make a difference (not sure why), but unless you enjoy working out in a sauna I'd avoid this one.

Fantastic experience: Have had a great 1st month at David Lloyd West Bridgford. The 3 P.T sessions (that were included for free) that i’ve had with Rob Cutler were fantastic in order to kickstart me back into training post several injuries. A wealth of knowledge that has taught me so much about the correct way to approach my training. Every staff member from reception onwards that I’ve encountered are genuinely friendly and professional, without being intrusive. The Spa is a great addition to the centre. It’s incredible. I particularly enjoy the plunge pool, steam rooms and saunas. The whole facility is VERY clean, lots of cleaning staff always working. So far, 10 out of 10 overall. Highly recommended if your looking for prioritising your Health and Wellbeing. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Been to the gym on my friend’s day pass and instantly knew this was the gym for me. The staff on the reception was friendly from the off. The weight section of the gym has everything you need and more, was even a few machine id never seen or used before. Spoke to elliot the membership manager and was more than helpful in sorting me a cracking deal out and one that worked best for me. Would highly recommend for all levels of people looking to train.

Fantastic experience: Such a great place. So relaxing and everything is of real excellence. Particular shout out to Theresa and Fabs on reception, who are so friendly and helpful. All round such a fab experience to visit and by far the best facilities in the region. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: I have been facing racism, rudeness, and ignorance in this gym. One instructor made assumptions about my Asian name and later refused to give me instructions, making me feel embarrassed and humiliated in front of the entire class. She wasn’t only rude to me; another member mentioned an injury, and her response was, “Why didn’t you tell me the first time?” This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I emailed this matter through the app/website, but they ignored me. I then decided to speak to the manager in person. The manager acknowledged that I wasn’t the first one to complain about her rudeness and promised to have the instructor manager contact me as soon as possible. Ten days later, the instructor manager called me (despite my request to be contacted via email), and she clearly didn’t care at all. Regarding the facilities, the water sink in the female changing room is always broken. One of the steam rooms has been out of order more than half the time during my 2-month membership. Don’t join this place. It’s not worth the money, and you will regret it.

Elliot Klein has been extremely patient with us, as we took a little while to decide that membership for us and our 3 children was right. Elliot was fantastic at helping us see the benefits of joining David Lloyd, particularly for our kids with varying ages, and how we could benefit from the kids clubs to have time on our own, as well as joint activities as a family. Positive experience: David Lloyds West Bridgford is a wonderful health club with fabulous facilities & very clean. Another member & myself noticed dirt floating on the top of the outdoor large pool today & quite a bit on the pool floor. Maybe it's been caused by the heavy rain at the wkend as the pool is normally very clean. We mentioned it to a lifeguard, so hopefully the pool will be cleaned soon.

Fantastic experience: Came up on Saturday from Cardiff and had an amazing time! Was shown around by Rhys who had extremely good knowledge of the gym and spa facilities. My family made great use of the indoor and outdoor pool which the kids loved and after that had some amazing food, far better than any gym I've ever been to. The woman serving us our food was also very polite and helpful. Thank you to rhys and all the staff at David lloyd for making our day really enjoyable

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, came on the weekend, we were shown around by rhys his knowledge regarding every part of the club was something else . Used spa retreat. Fantastic place so relaxing. Loved the saunas and jacuzzi but the steam room was definitely a firm favourite. After the relaxing spa we went for food in the restaurant area, I had the halloumi and pepper flat bread amazing. The lady who served us was so helpful, and chatty and came back to check everything was going OK. Food was phenomenal.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of touring a gym and receiving assistance in joining, facilitated by a staff member named Rhys. My experience was overwhelmingly positive, largely due to Rhys's professionalism, knowledge, and personable approach. From the outset, Rhys exhibited a friendly and welcoming demeanor, making me feel comfortable and valued as a potential new member. He began the tour with a thorough overview of the gym's facilities, highlighting key areas such as the cardio section, weight training area, group exercise rooms, and wellness amenities like the sauna and steam room. His comprehensive knowledge of the gym's equipment and services was immediately apparent. Rhys's expertise was particularly evident when he explained the features and functionalities of various machines. His clear and concise instructions ensured I understood how to use the equipment safely and effectively, which is crucial for anyone, especially those new to the gym environment.

Negative experience: Booked a tour 5 -5.30 today as my corporate membership at another Gym was coming to an end next month. Upon arrival was taken to a table to fill details in i had previously done upon booking my appointment only to be left there until gone 20 past 5 and still no one could be bothered to turn up. Whilst I would expect this level of disappointing and incompetent customer service from so called lower priced gyms I have to say that in my experience that’s exactly where I would place David Lloyd West Bridgford. I will be certainly be telling my colleagues of my experience and recommend that they also don’t waste there valuable time either.

Fantastic experience: I went in to see the gym in order to make a membership. I was extremely pleased with the great customer service I recieved from the receptionist staff working there. The gentleman named Elliot was truly professional, well spoken and dealt with my joining the gym a very easy and straightforward process. He explained the memberships available very well and offered and showed me all the deals available. I was very happy with the membership I received and will be recommending other friends to join and especially asking them to go through Elliot. We wondered in without an appointment one Sunday, Clara took the time out of her schedule to show us round and have a great chat, at no point were we pressured to make a decision. I’ve been to others that once they have your details they’re relentless. We decided to sign up yesterday and this processed was done by Elliot, his people skills are wonderful and took his time explaining all the facilities/apps/booking process etc. We used the pool straightaway and tried out the amazing Spa.
