While some users found the costs a bit high and suggested improvements in maintenance and atmosphere in certain areas, the overall experience at Wrexham Tennis Centre is highly positive. It's a great asset to the local community, providing excellent coaching and a friendly environment for people of all ages. Whether you’re looking to learn or play competitively, this is the place for you!
Wrexham Tennis Centre: Opinions
Positive experience: Went today for the first time ever and had a great experience, free racket and ball hire and the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was I thought £13 for one hour was a tiny bit on the expensive side especially considering how empty the indoor courts were but overall it was really enjoyable.
Positive experience: Excellent facilities and earning place.
Positive experience: Great tennis facilities. Fully recommend if you are into tennis
Positive experience: Great little club, lots of class times to suit. Nice refreshments too
Positive experience: Good for tennis, would be better if it wasn’t in Wrexham, but then I guess anything would be better if it wasn’t in Wrexham (sorry)
Positive experience: Basic tennis centre with no frills.
Positive experience: Yeah, lot's of tennis courts and the pros are great, especially Joe. It's a bit cold in there sometimes and the cafe area lacks a bit of atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: Really good Tennis center
Fantastic experience: Excellent tennis centre for a learning disability tournament.
Fantastic experience: if you play tennis this place is for you. parking and main access road, easy access
Positive experience: I visited the centre to play a match and had an enjoyable time. Although the court surface is acrylic which most older tennis players find less than kind to aging joints there is no arguing with the value for money that the centre offers. The post match meal was excellent providing one accepts that it is being provided by a tennis venue not a restaurant. The staff were wonderful. Any tennis players in the Wrexham area would do well to take advantage of the facilities
Fantastic experience: We are not great tennis players, so decided to go have a go, lots of outside courts and didn't feel that we had to be good at tennis, you can hire an outside court for £8 for one hour, they lend you tennis rackets and balls for free, great place to go.
Positive experience: Great facilities. Also open to non members
Fantastic experience: Great place to play or learn to play tennis..
Fantastic experience: Plenty of courts. Just about enough parking. Sainsbury’s and Costa nearby
Fantastic experience: Great place
Fantastic experience: Plenty of newly resurfaced courts. Staff always helpful. Great way to get fitter
Positive experience: Great centre for all ages and for all levels of players. My boys loved and want to go back, great asset to Wrexham!
Fantastic experience: Physio is great
Positive experience: Cosmo loves a good game of tennis here on a regular basis and the facilities are first class. However Cosmo thought long and hard about dropping down to four stars but a patron of the club who looked down his snotty nose and made a rude comment on an admittedly sweaty and out of breath Cosmo who had come off court after a hell of a session with a work colleague let the side down recently! You know who you are!!!
Fantastic experience: Lovely centre. Excellent facilities. Refreshments available. Limited car parking.
Fantastic experience: Great place to learn tennis.Coaches are very nice and talented.Lovely food and very clean.Friendly staff brilliant indoor court's and outdoor court's.
Negative experience: Om
Fantastic experience: North Wales Premiere tennis Centre, we booked indoor courts but seeing as weather was nice they let us swap to outside. Free racket and ball hire. And a bar to top it off.

Fantastic experience: Not been here some over 10 years but it's still a good sports facility
Positive experience: Nice Tennis facility good service enjoyed playing here!!
Positive experience: Good courts and plenty of space, only thing that would make it better is floodlights on more of the courts so that the non members can play as the light starts to fade as well.
Positive experience: Need to step up and get that place busy with variable court fees to establish footfall at all times of the day. Courts need decent maintenance and regular safety checks for metal and other debris. Disgusting. Management take note stop sitting around and get on it. Reception need a pick me up and welcoming attitude. Not hard just smile !
Positive experience: Good for young kids to train and practice.
Fantastic experience: Great facilities! Good food n coffee too!
Fantastic experience: Terrific facility and friendly staff.
Positive experience: Shame it's not open later. ...
Positive experience: Sent my 7y.o. son here for tennis club on a term break which cost me £20 for full day 9 am to 4pm. Had to pay full on day of booking when i phoned them. I feel that the area are secured, as it is fully enclosed and you have to sign when you collect. I took one star off as i was there at 3.20 watching them play but they start tidying up at 3.35pm, By 3.45 all the kids are already at the reception area waiting to be picked up. I feel they should maximise the time using the court for what i have paid.
Fantastic experience: Great place!
Fantastic experience: Love the staff here!!! Bloody FANTASTIC
Fantastic experience: I personally use the gym & the trainers in there are absolutely brilliant Nick (the smiling assassin), Gavin, James & John & they are all very good in what they do, so go down for a session with them & I know that you'll feel the benefit after
Positive experience: Could be better maintained and service at reception needs ramping up. Courts need work and regular cleaning of debris from especially a safety point of view.
