Negative experience: Rude staff at times

Negative experience: Most uncomfortable gym I ever been to the workers stare at you constantly without offering any help and make it a very un safe space creating anxiety on the gym floor

Fantastic experience: I regularly use the gym at Pendleton sport centre, and my kids enjoy the football and dance programs. Despite its small size, the gym has all the equipment I need, and the staff are always friendly. The coaches for the kids’ activities are excellent, creating a fun and supportive environment. It’s a great place for the whole family to stay active, and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Great sports hall attached to the local school They have various different sports clubs. We went to the Saturday football sessions for my grandson and he had a great time Highly recommend

Negative experience: I'm very unhappy with the treatment I have received as a loyal, paying customer to SLL. I wanted to cancel my membership as the facilities aren't up to my expectations and I hadn't been attending the gym as much as I'd like. The gym itself is small and lacks in some equipment but is functional for a half decent workout. I found cancelling my membership through the app confusing and misleading so I decided to cancel my direct debit as this is normal procedure at other gyms. I was then threatened via email to reinstate my direct debit or else my details would be passed onto a third party (debt collection agency). I've since been on my account and paid the outstanding membership fee which I paid before it was actually due and I've still received two letters through the post from the debt collection agency. A £15 fee has been added to my account as a "non submission fee" which I refuse to pay as I think it's highly unreasonable and also I don't appreciate the threatening manner in which I've been spoken too. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone and I'd certainly think before signing up as you could find yourself with debt collection letters through your door if you miss a payment. Worst gym service I've ever experienced!

Fantastic experience: Spacious venue. Great for having childrens parties. Staff were very friendly and polite. Good access for hirers for event companies. There did seem to be lack of power sockets in the corner we setup our hire items in, but a power extention with 4 sockets fixes that issue. There was reasonable amount of parking round the back of the venue on setup. On collection of our hire items, parking was more limited. Great venue overall.

Fantastic experience: My Grandson had his birthday party here, brilliant place & very reasonable price to hire

Positive experience: Went here with my grandchild who was attending a childrens party. From what I saw, looked clean in general areas. Had run out of toilet paper in one of the ladies toilets, which wasn't replenished, I was present for just over 2 hours, just wondering how offtern checks are made for the toilets. Hence lost one star.

Positive experience: Went to a birthday party in the sportshall. No real refreshment facilities for adults attending the party. Staff were not very interested, though did off change for the coffee machine - which was vile by the way! Toilets could do with more regular cleaning. We had a great time at the party, but that was more to do with the event than the facilities.

Positive experience: Very good quality equipment, staff always very helpful and friendly. The 3G pitch is very good, however the gym is very small!

Negative experience: Very expensive for what you get, and no way to negotiate this, there os a nearby gym that is as good but a lot more economical to join, bit of a ripoff really.
